Yep. So sorry Albert_Zepher, but this really isn't goign to work. Nobody's going to defend one or the other so hotly that we get a good debate. And there's no point debating one side when you have no idea of the other..

I like both, but I can't say which is better, because either way, someone gets mad at me...

Sure, LOD might be an RPG and be more interactive than a book, but using that idea as the basis for this debate is FAR too biased!! Eragon could have been a game too (And soon will be). But that alone isn't enough to base which is better. It's like comparing ice cream to soda and then saying soda is better just because its a drink. THAT IS NOT A GOOD ENOUGH REASON!!!

I myself can't choose between them, I love both of them so much!!! Everything about me (Mentally) is based on those two things!! Well, almost everything...

Yep yep, apples and oranges. One can't be decided "better."
Plus, I don't think it's a good idea for debates to go on here. I understand the reason this thread was made, and I think discussions are much safer, as debates can escalate and push people away. This is a place to appriciate both LOD AND Inheritance. Just think what it would be like if this thread escalated to a pitch that polarized our guild.

Hey, I just got to thinking "If this is going to be a discussion, rather than a debate, then we should treat it like one. From now on, this thread will be used by the LOD fans and the Inheritance fans in turn. One month, this thread will be for the total use of any Legend of Dragoon fans to talk about anything they want in or about the game. The next, the Inheritance fans will be able to do so with the books, movie, and game.

Due to the lack of active Inheritance members, I think that we will start this off for the LOD fans. Anyone have anything they'd like to ask or discuss about the game?

How the hell do you kill the Divine Dragoon the second time!?!? crying He's too freakin hard!! Even Divine Loyd wasn't nearly as powerful as that dragon!

Well, basically, all you need is to be level 30 or higher (all characters on your team), and have a lot of Healing Breezes/Healing Rains/Whatever the Revival Potions are called. stressed lol.

Yeah, you just have to keep hammering away at it with everything you've got. If you're confident in your team's defence and HP, use the Dragoon Special and throw everything you've got at the b*****d. If you need to level up some more, I suggest that you complete the two side quests of the game: Stardust/ Magician Faust, and the Dragoon Tower. Both quests get you a butt-load of exp.

Magician Faust? I've seen the Dragoon Tower one, but not the Magician Faust. What's that?

The one thing about this quest is that, in order to do it, you have to find all the stardust. Having done this, visit Martell in Rogue, and she will give you a number of items, including the "Vanishing Stone". This item in hand, go to Flanvel Tower in the Kashua Glacier, and when you get to the room just before you went in to fight Lloyd, take the other teleporter that you see in that room. A winglie will appear when you get near the middle of the room, but it is just a magical holigram, and the Vanishing Stone will dispel it. Grab the item in the room, then take the teleporter down.

Now, all that is left for you to do is travel the myriad teleporters until you have caused all three parts of a bridge to collapse. The center area that falls as a result of this will lead you to Magician Faust himself, Melbu Frahma's most trusted general, who was even more powerful than him in magic. It doesn't matter how you answer his question. You will still have to fight him. All you need for this fight is to be at a decent level, and to have Legendary Helms equiped to at least two members of your team. Faust will do practically no damage to them. Then, just keep your team alive, and hammer away at him.

It is a head piece that both males and females can wear, and can only be bought in Lohan. They cost 10,000 gold each, and for good reason: They raise the character's magic attack, magic defence, and magic evasion extremely high.

The Helm's chest partner, the "Legendary Armor" does basically the same thing, only with physical stats, costs the same, and can only be bought in Denningrad after the attack by the Divine Dragon.

Yeah, I know. It's a lot. If you are looking to outfit an entire team in this set of armor, you're looking at an even 60,000g. Now that I am playing the game, I can tell you exactly how much both pieces of armor increase your stats:

Legend Casque:

MDF (magic defence): +127

M-AV (magic avasion): +50%

Armor of Legend:

DF (defence): +132

A-AV (attack avasion): +50%

With this stuff equiped to you, half the time you take a miserly amount of damage, and the other half, the enemy misses you altogether.

Holy s**t... Hmmmm, must buy...
Say, is there a physical version of this armor? or does this armor provie any physical protection at all?

Yeah, the Legend Casque boosts your Magical stats while the Armor of Legend boosts your Physical stats.
