I have played in a couple larps, I personally love them because it allows me to show that there are people that can do some of the fights that you see in some movies. I played in a couple of them, the most noticeable ones are Legacies and Ampt(SP?) guard and no no Magic missiles, though I have to admit that by far Mana storm is by far more fun, a spell that give you unlimited aumo so long as you prevent your foot from moving you channel energy from the earth its self that way razz
