Spooki shrugged a little, "Most stallions don't pay too much attention to me. not really sure why." She turned and looked at herself self-consciously, a frown on her face. "I really wish they would."
She looked back at Wallace, "What are you smiling about, mister? And you aren't a big, mean monster. You're actually pretty sweet." She smiled at him, a slight blush creeping over her face.

"Well from the sounds of it, you don't get out nearly enough for any to have the opportunity to pay attention to you. And, of course, starting off by asking so many questions doesn't help. A curious mind is a good one, but it shows how young you are. With it comes lack of experience, knowledge, and clear-headedness. You just need to mature, is all. Once that happens, they'll flock to you." He nodded, a look of certainty on his face. "And wishing won't get you terribly far. If you want something, you've got to go out and get it."
"Nothin'. And sweet?" He couldn't help but scoff a bit. "So sweet I scared the living daylights out of a poor defenseless mare. But it had to be done, I suppose."
