Orange Blossom We can make new threads for serious RP there, Cerro, if you want... but I thought that the threads that were already there were literate. What kind of RP did you have in mind, Cerro?
I don't really care what genre the roleplay is, though.

I don't usually rp online. I prefer old school pnp stuff. I suppose I don't care if it's asterisks, or quotes... as long as it's done well. But I will stick to whatever conventions are used in the current thread when I attempt it.
I'll give it a shot, but I don't know how well I'll do. I actually already posted once...

Yeah me too.
What are the rules for setting up situations...is there etiquette for killing off players or making them do things the don't want to do? I know that in MUDs and MUXes and such, you have to play the action such that a response can be made that may not end up they way you think it should...so the players all have choice.
Khall does a lot of that sort of thing, but I haven't.

I don't know what MUD and MUX are... hmm...
But I always try to leave the situation open so that the action can change. I would never tell another character that he or she was killed off. And (like in the cheerleader thread) if I was shooting and someone happened to be there, I wouldn't say that I hit the person. I'd let them make that decision whether they wanted to be shot or not...

Gawd, this just reminds me of myself as a 10-year-old, being a l33t MUD veteran. I was programming awesome. But then I got old.
As for the RP I've done it in the past, but only with original characters. I dunno, I don't think I could get into it. Also, I'm now lazy and used to writing everything on my own.
