Layla smiled and nodded, then started writing some more:
Yes, but those people not born Deaf. Hard to read lips or pronounce words when born Deaf. Think of learn to speak. You learn lip-read when associate lip movements with sounds. No sound, so no association. But if born hearing, and become deaf, you keep some knowlege of speaking. Also usually have better grammar. I know my grammar bad. But you say don't worry about it.
She began to hand the notebook back to Aonice, then changed her mind and took it back. She quickly scrawled some more under her small paragraph:
Oh, I think you mean lip sync, not sink. Sink for dishes. Sync mean at the same time. N*Sync play on words. In sync. At same time. Not N*Sink. In sink.
She drew a cute little happy face underneath, smiled as if she were laughing, and handed the notebook over.

Aonice nodded, eventually finding the writing a waste of time, and looked outside over the beach.. "I think you should come with me to the beach" She said, or atleast to herself, then pointed out the window at the view, and pulled out a bathingsuite from the gift basket.

Layla seemed delighted; she absolutely adored water, and she loved to swim.
She had changed clothes and was ready to go to the beach faster than Aonice could blink an eye; complete with sunglasses, flip-flop sandals, and a large basket-like purse that contained her towel, sunblock, a magazine, and another few necessities.
She dropped the notebook in the bag, as well as her keys from off the table, and opened the door, waiting impatiently for Aonice to get up from the comfy couch.

Aoniec laughed, then quickly removed her own shirt, revealing the upper portion to a sleek and sensually revealing black onepiece. "Allright! Off to the beach!" She giggled, Taking Kalyan's hand and tugging her out quickly.

Libby walked in and pushed the button for the elevator. She still didn't say anything to Aonice.

Aonice gripped her arm, crossing one underneath her chest as she walked in the elevator. She leaned against the wall and gave a sigh as Libby went ahead and pressed the next button..

There was a loud, cheerful DING! and the elevator opened. Libby stepped inside, waited for Aonice, then pushed the "door close" button and the button that said, "10"
