Khall Lost Boys -- The first 2/3rds of the movie looks like it's going to be a great vampire movie. And then...the awfulness comes. But the sound track kicks a**. Well, I liked Lost Boys. Correction...I liked the idea. It had a good cast (save for Michael and Starr whom I wanted to kill by the middle of the movie and I like Jami Gertz in almost anything) and the music was great. The ending was a bit too rushed for me, I'll admit. The whole big fight scene lasted about three minutes. But what it lacks in that aspect, it makes up for in cheesy 80s goodness. Bill S. Preston Esquire was a vampire! How could you not love that?

I thought it was going to be based around some goth rock kids, because the first scene had random shots of all those random goth kids, and it made me happy. 3nodding I was sincerely dissappointed. Anyway, some of the music was okay, and I love that they used The Doors' "Stranger".
It just kinda bugged me overall, though. Especially those two nerdy vampire hunter kids. Ugh I wanted to smack them.

It just kinda bugged me overall, though. Especially those two nerdy vampire hunter kids. Ugh I wanted to smack them. That's because really no movie in the 80s was based off of "goth rock kids" because that's not what people wanted to see. If you know walking into it that it's going to be chock full of 80s cheesiness, then you can enjoy. And the Frog brothers kicked a** (their antics were one of the redeeming qualities of the movie) with their stupidity. Sam, I wanted to stab in the face, but I liked Edgar and Alan.
