"Yeah, like, a few days recent." He smirked as he said that and threw a sidelong glance at her - just in time to watch one piece of her jewelry start to unwind and come to life.
Well, that was interesting.
"I'm off to a good start, don't you think?" He chuckled to himself and looked away from both her and the grumbling whatever-it-was to focus on wherever he was leading them. He really wasn't quite sure just yet. He only looked back at her when she introduced what he now recognized as a very tiny dragon thing.
"Well, I can't understand what in the hell he's saying, so he's perfectly welcome to be an a** as much as he wants." He smirked down at the little thing and let one brow raise, almost in a dare. "Doesn't bother me in the slightest." At least not outwardly. Ren was pretty good at appearing unphased.
"So how long have you been at the school, then? Long enough to know a new student when you see one, which must mean a while." He gave her hand a small swing as he walked, but was staring off into the distance again now.
