- 🍀☯🌷☮Lyric had already been amazed at the hard work and tenacity that Alice and Ella had to complete this process, but after seeing the obvious pain they went through to get their results, he was even more in awe. And of course that they were so sticking cute was a definitive bonus! His heart basically melted into his shoes as Mouse Ella stood and placed her tiny paws on his pants leg to wiggle her equally tiny nose at her. The noise that left his body he's sure would follow him forever more through teasing from Seb and Alice but he can't bring himself to care. He saw his friend lean down to pet and give scritches to his girlfriend (which was really weird to put into a sentence) and then laughed as she freaked out after he picked her up. While he wished in his heart of hearts that he could do the same, he knew better and instead crouched down very slowly to not dislodge his tinier than usual friend and used one finger to gently rub her head, cooing at how soft her fur was.
He only stopped when his friend brought up a very important factor he'd nearly forgotten about-that the girls would need to change back eventually. The teen had also learned and practiced the spell for just in case purposes but Seb was right that they would have to try it alone first. "You'll do great." Lyric whispered to Mouse Ella before giving one last pat and standing to give them space. He watched nervously as nothing happened at first-for either girl-until suddenly a human Alice popped into existence followed closely by an equally human Ella. He cheered with the rest of his friends and gave his shorter friend a small spinning hug in congratulations after she thanked him for being there.
"Of course, this was so cool! Think of all the sneaky stuff you can get into now." he teased with a wide grin. He then saw a napkin flutter out of his pocket and remembered the food and other stuff he had brought. "Oh right, I brought snacks! Not a lot but, yknow just in case. And your book since you left in a rush." Lyric pulled out the wrapped food he had grabbed from the Great hall in one hand and Ella's book that she had left behind in the other.
