The Fire Blast struck, which only caused Seth to smirk. Please. Did she really think she could out do him?

The Wailord was recalled and a Dark Tyranitar took its place.

"Hyper Beam!"

Letting out a piercing roar, an orb of light formed between its fangs... just before a powerful burst of energy was shot back at the wall. A loud blast and more shaking following it. Leaving a nice scorch mark behind.

This was getting tougher and tougher... The Elite had a much better selection to choose from than her as far as Pokemon went... Oh, if only she had more Pokemon!

She thought those words, then her mind turned to the second Pokeball at her side, which held her Meganium. Would he really make a difference here...? It was hard to tell. He did have one attack... No, she would save that for later. She still had more ammunition to dish out from Iditarod.

"Dohn't bahck down. Use Drahgon Puhlse!"

Iditarod bellowed and opened her jaws wide, showing her white fangs. Her claws dug deep into the sandy floor, and a purple-blue translucent flame appeared around her body. It grew in strength and became more vibrant until the Arcanine released it with a roar and sent the pulse right at the wall.

Poor thing... it looked as if it would crumble at any moment from the treatment it was being given any minute.

Fortunately the entire framework was made of steel and titanium. It would take more than some abuse from Pokemon attacks to make it crumble. Although there would be some marks here and there for sure.

"Pathetic," Seth muttered, clearly unimpressed with Isadora's attempts.

The Tyranitar then disappeared, and what replaced it next was a looming Steelix.

"Go, Iron Tail!" Seth pointing his good arm at the wall once more.

The giant steel snake bellowed, before whipping its tail around and slamming it hard against the wall. Metal clashing against metal and ringing with a resounding crash.

Arceus on high, where was he coming up with such ridiculous moves?! Obviously, he was using more than one Pokemon, that was certain... Isadora just hoped that he would not resort to using that Shadow Lugia just to win in a friendly competition.

...Hah. Friendly. That was a laugh.

"Wehll, wehll," the doctor said with a cocky smile on her face "It seems thaht Little Miss Princehss doehsn't like t' lose... evehn when she's winnin'. Vereh interestin'." She held her chin in thought for a moment, then chuckled and called to Iditarod. "Hohld, girl. Leht Bahsil have a little fuhn."

With that, Isadora reached for the second Pokeball at her disposal and sent out said Meganium, whose eyes lit up at the sight of his human and friend. But now was no time for levity. With a grave look on her face, Isa gave the command.

"Bahsil: chahrge your Solar Beam."

The Meganium did as he was bidden, fully extending his petals to soak up what light he could draw from. Soon, his petals began to shine brighter and brighter...

In all truth, Seth was starting to get bored with this. There was only so many attacks that his Pokemon could do and Isadora's weak attempts were... weak... at best.

Thus when no reply came as the Meganium charged its Solar Beam, the elite figured it was over. She had likely given up or something, which suited him just fine.

With that, he returned his attention back to his Pokemon to resume the training once again. He had little time to be playing around after all.

What was he thinking, Isadora wondered... Was he thinking that, since her attacks had ceased, her efforts were spent? Was he waiting for her to make a move? Could it be some other scenario which she could not predict? She would never know unless she acted, and act she would.

After a quick glance to Basil, who had fully charged his beam, Isadora smirked, not without a bit of mirth, and raised her left hand, her forefinger, middle, and thumb pressed tightly against each other. Then she moved her fingers, making a light, snapping noise.

Basil nodded his compliance at the order and directed his glowing neck-petals towards the wall, his eyes now narrowed in concentration. With a roar, the Meganium opened his mouth and unleashed a blinding beam of energy directly towards the wall, making it shake violently on impact. Isadora observed all of this with a smile on her face.

Your move, princess.

Then the Solar Beam hit and Seth was left scowling at the wall. The man huffed, and narrowed his eyes. Clearly he didn't want the shrink to have the last word.

He didn't even have to speak, for the Shadow Lugia straightened up and its eyes glowed with certain intensity. Suddenly a blast of pure, focused dark energy was unleased from the mouth of the beast. Slamming against the wall of the battle with such enough force to rattle the rooms yet again. Essentially the equivalent of a normal Lugia's Aeroblast.

With a few more directed commands, this was followed by attacks from the already released Steelix and Luxray in quick succession. Causing a constant tremor that lasted for the better part of a minute.

Isadora was admittedly very smug and proud of her Meganium's powerful Solar Beam, for even though he wasn't exactly a powerhouse, he indeed had his uses... Apparently, one of those uses included trying to one-up a higher ranked, very cranky man. One takes what one can get.

Said elite's retaliation attack was a very powerful one as well - certainly more powerful than Basil's Solar Beam alone. It shook the walls and the floor, and the sudden impact of it made Isadora nearly stumble and fall to the ground. As she regained her balance, she gave a teasing chuckle. "Wehll, wehll... Sounds lihke someone's ovah-compensatin'..."

She finally got herself to stand upright, and the attack was still being dealt. The doctor lowered her eyes and folded her arms across her chest. After about fifteen seconds of straight assault, some things just got tedious. Her foot tapped impatiently on the ground as the attack finished up, then, when it was over, she sighed exasperatedly.

"Honesleh. How does he ehxpect me t' compete wit' thaht?" She stopped for a moment, then smirked. "Y'know, a real gehntleman would let his oppohnent have an equal artillery to his, buuuut... Somehow, I douhhbt thaht'll hahppen wit' you, hm, princehss?"

He had made his point, and now it was certainly becoming a waste of his time. Seth had been just about finished with his training session anyway when he was so rudely interrupted. Had she waited a few minutes more, she wouldn't have needed to confront the elite in the first place.

"I believe that's enough," Seth told his Pokemon with a victorious smirk, for he knew the lowly shrink couldn't hope to beat him.

The Pokemon were then returned to their balls, which were clipped to his belt. The haughty make then making his exit out of the room and into the hall.

Silently, Isadora raised an inquisitive eyebrow. After a few hesitant minutes, she sighed heavily and turned to her two Pokemon, who were glancing towards her expectantly. The doctor readjusted her glasses and smiled at her friends. "I cahn't tell if thaht was produhctive or not, but it certaihnly passed the time, mm?" Basil nodded his head enthusiastically and Iditarod barked, her large tail wagging.

Isadora recalled her Pokemon and turned to leave. Before she stepped out of the room, though, she stopped and looked back at the wall that had been so horridly abused over the past few minutes. Her eyes lowered as she bit her right-hand thumb, mimicking a common insulting gesture from the days of Shakespeare in Victorian England - the rough equivalent of the modern-day middle finger. The woman's hands fell to her side as she exited the training rooms and walked back down the hall.

...The day's training wasn't exactly by the book, but it was better than nothing.
