Joey listened to what he said, and reluctantly she pulled back enough to look him in the eyes. "You're an idiot. You knew this and you let them almost kill you." she said in a scolding tone, shaking her head. "What were you thinking? You almost... died..."

Joey sighed, sitting back. She went to stand up, but was stopped as a powerful burning pain returned to her leg. She gasped lightly and sat back down, then looked to see that the burn was still there from the evil teacher's fire. Oh great... she thought, grimacing.

Zeph saw she had a burn so he reached into his hand, as if he was reaching into his hand and out of it somewhere else, and took out some burn ointment and a bandage. He put some of the ointment on her burn then bandaged it up. The bandage had small holes in it so that the burn could breath.

Joey watched in slight resentment. She didn't much like having to have people take care of her, it made her feel weak. Joey didn't say this though, she just smiled and said, "Thanks." She went to stand up again, this time balancing most of her weight on her good foot. It still hurt quite a bit but she didn't complain.

Zeph looked at her face closely, "Now... you say your fine, but you look like your in quite a bit of pain." he said, then backed off and sighed, "If you don't want to tell me though, I guess I'll have to respect that."

"There are.. things much worse then this." Joey said, looking down slightly. She looked back up after a moment, placing her finger on her lip thoughtfully. "But... like I said, I'll live. I'm just glad you're okay." she shrugged, looking at him a bit sheepishly.

Joey smiled and linked her arm through his, taking his hand and squeezing it affectionately. She was quite a bit shorter then him, but enough so that if she stood on her tip-toes she'd be the perfect height to kiss him. She considered it too, but then she thought of what had happened with the teachers... "Why do they label us as good and evil?" she asked, looking at him.
