I found out from my friend that you can use Q-tips to clean the eye of your cd player if it's not reading properly but you should never use any kind of paper towel because it will scratch the eye no matter how soft the towel is.

(out of curiosity what manga would that be?)
The first time that I ever went to White Castle (it's a fast food restaurant it you didn't know) was a few weeks ago when I was in Austin with the family. This is because there were not White Castles in New Orleans and there are none in Atlanta as far as I know.

Strawberries ... did you know you can buy them plain and frozen in the grocery story, and then let them defrost a bit, slather them with sugar (or Splenda in my case), and it's an amazing cool treat for a hot day?
On the other hand, when my oldest daughter was very small, I fed her strawberry yogurt, I think it was. Later that evening, I noticed she had a large, raised red blotchy rash all over her body that looked horrible. I called the pediatrician, thinking she had some kind of medieval disease. He said, take a marking pen and draw a line around the rash. So I did, drew a green line on her hand and arm where the rash was, as she slept. My instructions were to check back in an hour or so. I crept back into her room later, with a flashlight to check it out. When I did, the rash had moved completely! The green line now encircled nothing, but there was rash someplace else. He'd told me that if the rash moved around, it was likely a food allergy, and therefore not to worry about it. And I didn't, and she was fine. It was only later that I connected the rash to the strawberry yogurt.

Note to _of_: Do you know that the burgers they serve at White Castle are nicknamed "sliders"?

Out of Contest:
_of_: Where in the heck is a White Castle in Austin? *pokes*
Fresnel: I'm also allergic to strawberries, but not that bad...I get itchy. Found out last year on admin's day.
Yukita: I like to play Ichigo sometimes when I play Katamari Damacy! Which is funny, because normally strawberry thoughts make me squirm. Today I saw a neat dessert at the Argentinean restaurant I had lunch at...so pretty, like taco shaped Napoleons. Strawberries ruined it for me!
Waaah.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled term:
Car Wash
I used to go to the car wash almost every other week with my girl friend, Ratawna when I was in high school, usually around 10 or 11 pm. We'd gossip and then go down the drag and get Taco Bell to snack on. *laughs* Gads, my "hometown" was so boring that was entertaining.

I couldn't pin the boutonniere on my boyfriend's lapel before our high school prom. I was so excited and happy that I was afraid I was going to stab him. So I had one of my mom's friends do it for me (she had come over to take pictures for us).

One of my guy friends gave me $16 as a gift at my Sweet 16 party many moons ago. It took me a really long time to connect the $16 to being 16 years old. I was (and still am) really slow on the uptake sometimes.

Ah, yes. My tiny (literally tiny) eraser collection.
A friend dragged me off to some winter fair thing. Well, I, being the greedy person that I am, immediately went to shoot balloons to win some prizes.
First time, I won a teddy bear.
Second, a camera (a really crappy one, mind you).
Last, a set of winter themed erasers. What can I say? They were adorable.

I got a buzz off the fumes of the Sharpie markers I used last semester for a class project. I have to do a similar project next year, but am thinking of using colored pencils instead, just for a different look...

I was in a local parade once when I was in 7th or 8th grade. I was one of the four holding the banner. the girl scouts in front of us kept turning around and sticking their tongues out at us.

I saw 3 rainbows in one hour once at the lake near our school. I also happened to get caught in a heavy downpour the same day. it was freezing cold!

oooooh, I think of the family I have there, and I remember the one time on my birthday when we couldn't find a pub that was serving lunch. My cousin threw up in one of those deep ashtrays.

I had to use an ace bandage the last time I sprained my wrist because the Wellness Center on campus didn't measure the splinty thing they gave me properly. It didn't fit right, so I had one of my OT friends a year ahead of me try to fix the splint but that didn't work, so she had to wrap my hand in ace bandage for me.
