Jez dove before the gun went off and getting up quick she grabbed it and threw it across the room. "Why don't you people understand that Elli called me here, and i'm sick of my ears ringing."

The sirens were growing louder, and Jez reached down to try and take one of Ms. Johnson's hands. It took a few minutes and a few slaps, but Jez pulled her back on her feet. "Please go, tell them I will bring Elli. There is no more reason for blood."

Jez left her standing and walked back towards the bedroom following Elli's scent. She opened the bedroom door as the police cars screeched to a halt outside. Jez moved the boxes, and sat down looking at Elli. "The people in the cars outside probably will not like me, and i don't know what will happen to me. I answered the plea for help, I just wish it had turned out better for the both of us, and I'm sorry." Jezabelle took her clean hand and placed it against Elli's cheek top side down so that the soft velvet like fur could be felt. "I am real, and not a dream. Please stay here until they come in and call for you. There is a lady here, she is strangely dressed, and has a bird nests in her hair. (rollers) I will send her back here, but i couldn't leave without you knowing the truths I speak." Jez stood back up and faced the door as it was kicked in, She was face to face with a man holding a gun in a black suit. "Is Elli in this room?" Jez didn't acknowledge so he tried something different; "Look we haven't much time until the police figure out I'm bogus, friends of yours sent me, a Cecilia Kitterack, of the Kitterack tribe, the Roe providence, and does that sound familar?" Jezabelle nodded; "My sister, do I leave as I am, and would you ensure Elli's safety?"

The man put his gun away; "I can, Elli is coming with us, along with Ms. Johnson, she is already involved having seen you, but are you sure Elli is the anchor?" Jez nodded; "She won't be very cooperative, she witnessed all this, I only came in after the mother was killed, she is still afraid, but strong considering she hasn't fainted yet."

The man moved a bit to see Elli and looked back at Jez; "Bring her with you, she's dead if the goverment finds out she's linked to you, you're lucky we were in the area invetigating other entries, one we are definitely not going to contact, maybe another in time." Jez didn't take her eyes off the man, She crouched back down; "Elli, do you want to go with this man, or with the police?"

"From Svartalfheim," Saverial said "And yes, they are real." he answered. "Now, may I ask your name, Lady? I am Saverial Vasari." He remained kneeling and didn't flinch when Kelcie examined his ears.

Soren sighed. "It's an aluminum can. Aluminum is a very light and flexible metal. Very useful as well." he said as he went back to the kitchen and got a wet rag and another can. "That sound was gas escaping the can. Here. Try this one." He opened the can and set it down while cleaning up.

Jez recovered from the fact her tail just got stuffed into a rather uncomfortable position; "Drive?" The man spoke up; "We drive cars here, its rather easy, but complicated at the same time." The police officers rubbed their heads wondering why they were taking that car. They entered the home now and began to try and make sense of the carnage, and Jez sat down in the seat putting her hands on the wheel. "I command this carriage to move!" She looked back out at Elli; "I think the spell on this particular "car" is broken." The man was on his cell, he reached over and started the car; "Now it should work, but wait for Elli to get in...Yes...we are coming in alternate vechile...don't ask me why...we'll be there...I hope..." He closed it and his door buckling his seat belt; "Elli get in behind her, because we need to go now."

Once Elli got in and closed her door the man pointed at the collum; "Put your foot on the big pedal and pull that lever down until the marker on the dash is over the D symbol." Jez did just that, and the car lurched a bit as it went into gear; "Now what?" "Let off the big pedal and slowly push the smaller pedal until we start moving." Jez did just that and the car started to move; "What a noisy spell, these cars are worthless for my purpose, okay now what, do i follow this gravel path?"

Jez was fine until they came to the first stop sign. "okay start using the big pedal to slow down gently." Jez mashed it to the floor, and the car screeched to a stop. "Gently, jesus, gently push the pedal down, perhaps I should drive..." Jez's claws poked through the gloves and she pointed it at him. "Elli asked me to, either teach, or get out." The man raised his hands; "Fine, fine, lets just keep our heads here, at the sign you will make a left, remember to stay on the right hand side of the road when you make the turn." Jez got tot he stop sign easing to a stop this time, and accelerated in her turn rather to much and turned out straight to be driving in the center of the road. She swerved back into her lane from the horn and bright lights coming at her. She maintained her pace now; "Where are we going?"

"He comes from a rather annoying part of the world that I came from." Cecilia spoke from behind a tree after hearing Kelcie: "Relax big guy, I have no intentions of fighting you, but people have cell phones here. Females running out into traffic, gunshots, and survivors tend to attract cops. You and cops will not get along, and they would most certainly lock your female friend up to try and reign you in. If you want a way out for the both of you, come with me, but stay here discovering each other i can't assure you problems won't spring up."

Kelcie jumped and slid over by Saverial's side, "Where the hell do you people keep coming from?! I couldn't honestly "call" both of you... But what she says has some truth... Police will come... and since you let that man walk, he'll most likely try to pass it off as he was attacked and someone falsely accused him of rape. Either way, the police will come."

Kelcie cursed under her breath, "I need to get home... I just need to get home and go to sleep... and maybe all of this will go away..." She knew it most certainly wouldn't, but she could always hope... Looking over at the strange cat girl she crossed her arms, "Why should I trust you? What do you have that could honestly help me right now... If the sun sets and i'm not home... my parents will send the police after me... Then what?!" she yelled while throwing her arms up for dramatic effect, then crossing them again.

"Hmmm...Electricity huh?" she stared at the screen and tapped it again, "What shall I be called... I won't be returning home... so I will need a new identity..." she turned to look at Soren, "I also have some sort of a connection to you... But I have no clue what to do..." she sighed and rested her head in her hand, "How about the name Kardashian... that has a nice sound to it.... Shall that be my name?"

Cecilia shrugged; "Call it what you see, but what it is to me will always be home." She came out from behind the tree a soft chime and she pulled out her blackberry and checked it, the glow from the touch screen accented her eyes as they read, her ears stayed locked on the two, she cursed in her native tongue and using her claws she typed quickly. she locked the phone and the glow went away; "Why can't those two behave themselves."

Cecilia took a deep breath, and sighed to calm her rising temper. She drew out a card and set it on the ground; "No tricks, no scams, and I offer a safe place to get the answers you both seek. I have some matters to attend to, but the adress and number is on the card. Head west, sirens are coming from the east, turn north one street over, and she should be alright to get home from there.

Cecilia turned putting her beret back on, in the dim light her other clothing suggest private school uniform, and she started walking casually out of the trees. A car pulled off to the side, and Cecilia opened the drivers door. "Get out, and get in back."

Jez stared at her sister, here was the perfect chance to carry out the order given her, but instead she pushed the leaver up and got out. Wincing a bit as she walked; Cecilia got in and closed the door, and looking back and over as Jez opened the door; "Thread your tail up the back of your shirt, it will help, but once we fit you with some things you'll be better off. How is she?" Cecilia glanced at Elli, and Jez shook her head. "I don't know yet, she's been through a lot tonight, and haven't really had a chance to talk to her yet without death in sight."

Cecilia got back in the lane; "We'll be somewhere soon that you can get the chance to talk to her in depth." Jezabelle looked at the seat in front of her; 'There is things I want to ask you as well." Cecilia's answer was quick; "Later..."

Jezabelle reached over and pulled Elli up and hugged onto her softly, she rubbed her back softly with the gloved hand; "I'm the last person you'd ever want to be stuck with, but I promise to do my best to make you smile again someday."

"Up to you. Or I could never meet them and stay out here. The cold is tolerable, among other things. Your will is my command, in a nut shell." Saverial says. "Could tell them the truth, which they would not believe if I were not there, or lie, despite the fact that you have blood stained clothing, small scars and miraculously healed."

He checked his belt and made sure everything was in place.

Soren sighed. "I uh, alrighty then. I have no idea what to have you do or... what." he muttered. "Of course, I'm going to have to start buying food for two and so on... What are you good at?" Soren asked.

Saverial shrugged. "I'll take the smaller home. That way I can be definitely out of the way, and away from prying eyes."

Making his way quickly and quietly to the smaller house, he slipped in the door and checked the lock, before locking it. Focusing with a thought, he created a small ball of soft light, while he checked the windows and made sure they were covered. Leaving the light in the middle of the hut, he made himself at home and waited.

"Not particularly." Soren said, scratching the back of his head. "In the meantime, uh, if you really want to make yourself useful, you can... nevermind. I'll show you how to use the stove and microwave."

Soren walked into the kitchen and began taking things out for dinner preperation. On the other hand, the studio apartment was clean and well maintained.
