Hollow jerked her head to the side when her tail was released, brushing it against her side and chuckling at his tease. She blinked as he licked her but didn't protest, slowly growing accustomed to his bold behavior. She responded with a huff, rolling her eyes and padding onwards.
Her paws halted as he raised a paw, head tilting to the side and yellow cat eyes flicking to where he was so intently staring. As he approached a bush she flicked her tail to the side at his childish behavior. It was probably just a rabbit. "Is Sir Katsu afraid of a bunny?" She teased, padding up to join him.
The sudden leap from the bushes and a massive figure landing before them startled her, sending the female into attack mode. She snarled deeply, tail lashing back and forth, until she realized it was a bob cat.
Oh s**t.
((Will Tsu and Pharos become mates? I know Katsu and Hollow will <3))

Katsu let out a sudden, nervous sounding laugh. "That look like a bunny to you?" He jested, glancing over at Hollow and putting on a slight grin over his lips before turning his attention back towards the feline.
Stupid, stupid cat.
Man.. Man, oh maaaan! He wanted to tear and rip and bite and maul this stupid cat to pieces, after what it's kind had done to him and the other kits so long ago during Bamboo's early days. Just the thought of how that bobcat had swiped and managed to hurt his sister and cousin that night, along with simply snatching Kohaku in his mouth, threatening to kill his brother with a snap of his teeth.. Oh man. The mere idea had him threatening to loose his temper and just lunge mindlessly.
The male pushed down the urge, instead letting out a snarl of his own after Hollow's. Pretty unusual sounding, that aggressive noise, coming from a fox like Katsu. Teeth bared fully and legs quivering just barely with the anticipation of a fight, he followed the bob cat with his eyes. Katsu didn't bother looking over at Hollow, keeping himself locked on the feline as it slowly slinked it's way around the foxes in a semi-circle, as if contemplating where to start. "What do you wanna do?" He asked her simply, slightly moving his paw forward with a forming grin on his lips, causing the bob cat to flinch.
Payback for him and his family would come in time!.. Hollow's safety came first, though. There was no way in hell he was letting her pretty little face get messed up.

She flicked her tail and grunted at his jest. "This is hardly the time for jokes." She hissed lowly, her paws moving to keep her back away from the bobcat. Her tail lashed violently, claws unsheathed and harsh yellow cat eyes narrowed, the slits of her eyes turning even slimmer. She snarled at the bobcat, ears flipping against her head as she straightened her back.
Honestly, she wanted to get Katsu out of here. Her protective instincts had kicked in, a result of watching and protecting Himeko ever since they were kits. She slipped back into her old shell, as if Katsu was Himeko, moving her body between the bobcat and Katsu as a barrier.
"I distract it, you get out." She quickly retorted with, her fragment of a sentence not negotiable, not when she was in this state. If he protested she would protest back, though she was still in the Himeko protection state, she did not expect for Katsu to protest or fight back. Himeko never did. Anyway, she was ready to fight this beast. She was not an easy opponent, and besides, she had a lot of frustration to take out these days.
((Let's rp them some more before we decide on Pha and Tsu.))

Wait, wait, wait... she wanted him to just leave her? Oh man, was she crazy or what? There was no way he was just leaving her here with this cat. "No." Katsu said in reply to her order, his snarling and growling suppressed to a low, gentle rumble, though still plenty aggressive, as she moved between him and the predator. "I'm not leavin' you, Hollow. Not ever. We're doing this together, and that's that."
All the while, the bob cat eyed the two suspiciously with a feline hiss, as if expecting something from the female.
"I get first hit, though!" He suddenly snarled out, a more than eager smirk on his face as he weaved himself around her, giving a flick of the tail in her direction as he threw himself at the bob cat. Downright surprised at the sheer recklessness of the attack, the predator fell easily to the ground under Katsu's tackle with a loud 'thump!', paws giving way under the unexpected weight added.

"Showoff!"
She slipped around Katsu the second the feline hit the ground, wrapping her tail around one of its back legs and holding it into place, sinking teeth into the limb before untangling herself from the beast. There, it shouldn't be able to run around to much, hopefully. The female snarled once more, leaping away from Katsu and trying to catch the bobcats attention with a few thrown out snarls here and there.
"I got first bite, and first blood." She taunted the male with, as if they was a game. Though, it wouldn't be surprising if she got hit, she had never dealt with a bobcat before. The female crouched low, ready to pounce if the feline didn't fall for her teasing and went after Katsu instead.

"Hah, good!" Katsu barked out, a grin on his face as he pulled himself away from the cat. Quickly giving a wag of his tail, the male eyed Hollow before turning his attention back to the predator at hand. Baring his teeth once more to threaten their foe, he let out a nice, loud snarl.
He would show no mercy to this thing, whether or not it was the same bobcat from his childhood not mattering. Screw being nice! This was a bobcat, Katsu had issues with the particular type of feline, and you could bet your a** he was gonna deal with his crap this way. "Careful, girl~" He piped out in a teasing tone, glancing over at the vixen once more before moving to lunge at one of the cat's hind legs.
Crap, he'd only managed to snap at the ankle!
Quickly clamping his jaws around the paw nearest to him, Katsu gave a thrash of his head, hoping to do some kind of permanent damage to the stupid feline.

The feline let out a loud screech. Hollow's ears flicked back, snarling at the terrible sound and backing away, watching Katsu cling onto its leg. It was slowly looking as if the thrashing feline had broken its leg at this point. The feline screeched again, and Hollow knew she couldn't keep still any longer, lunging at the creatures neck and clamping down.
The feline jerked its torso, attempting to rip itself free before violently tossing Hollow off, and kicking Katsu in the face with its free leg. In seconds it was attempting to flee from the two rather violent foxes, apparently its idea of making them dinner ruined and hoping to keep his hind leg, and life. Hollow was unsure wether Katsu would want it dead, however her own thoughts was to let the creature go. They were lucky it hadn't killed one of them!

Letting out a jumbled mix between a snarl and a yelp at the kick, he let go of the bobcat's leg, stumbling back and giving a shake of his head. Okay, ow. "b*****d! Just wait until I catch up! I'll ring your damn neck and.. an-.. ugh." Katsu eyed the fleeing feline with a sharp glare, about to follow after it before stopping in his tracks.
Hollow mattered far more than killing that stupid thing.
"Hey.." He turned to look at her, only to be struck with a sudden dizzy spell. Giving a slight shake of his head and letting out a soft hiss, he looked at her again, "Hey, Hollow, you alright?"
The male blinked in confusion when he heard a soft sounding 'plop'. "..Wha'?" Katsu let his brow furrow as he tried to figure this little mystery out. There was no water nearby, he knew that for sure. And it wasn't raining or anythi-.. His heart suddenly dropped at the realization that he could smell blood, quickly making his way over to Hollow to look her over for any wounds from their fight just a moment ago. "Hollow, are you oka-.." Feeling a foreign wetness on his face, he raised a paw to rub at his cheek, only to quickly flinch as it grazed his new little flesh wound.
Oh look, blood. From him. Mystery solved! Katsu let out a huff before hissing softly, carefully wiping at his stained cheek. "..That stupid cat."

Hollow turned to Katsu, limping slightly, a thick groan escaping her lips. She heard Katsu panicking, however did not respond, instead padding over to where the beast had laid. Her tail flicked side to side as she pawed at the blood, turning to look at Katsu only when he mentioned being hurt. Her eyes flicked upwards to see blood dripping from his forehead, padding over to him.
”Idiot, don’t move.” She snapped at the male as he seemed to notice what was happening, padding off to grab a leaf and returning to him. ”I’m no shaman, but hold on.” She mewed, licking his forehead, spitting out blood in disgust and returning to licking the bloody forehead clean.
”There.” She set the leaf over the cut, stopped, and took it off before licking his forehead even more and then placing the leaf down, nodding when it stuck.
”There, now calm down and lay down.” She settled down, wrapped her tail around his neck, and yanked him down so he could lie down.

"Ah, but I.. 'kay." Katsu had thought about snapping out some sort of witty remark in reply to Hollow, only to go quiet and keep still. Thought about it. Uncle Pyre had told him about how important it was to listen to your woman and.. hm. Well, Katsu intended on listening to her!
He let out a soft hiss when she licked at his cut. Ooh, that hurt. Obediently, he tried not to fidget or speak out as she tried to figure out how to apply the makeshift bandage. A leaf?.. Clever girl. But ow, it hurt! Wincing all the while at the slowly fading stings from his wound, he let out a small whine, feeling a little odd about her fretting over him. Maybe she liked him?.. Yeah, maybe she liked him. No stranger would do this. He wagged his tail to silently show that he appreciated it.
"Me? Calm down? Pfft, I'm calm. But what are you doin- !" Katsu eyed her tail as it wrapped around his neck, confused for a moment until he was yanked down beside her with a soft 'oof!' "Well." He snorted softly, quickly giving her a smirk and shifting to lie down comfortably. "You could have just asked~" The male gave a gentle bump of his shoulder against hers playfully, continuing to smirk at her before going quiet. Licking at Hollow's fur gently, Katsu set himself to grooming the blood from the battle off of her, a silent sort of way to repay her for attending to his cut. And.. there! All done, no more blood.
"Your.. leg alright?" He leaned to rest his head over her neck, nuzzling into her fur as the start of a frown began to appear on his maw. "You looked like you were limping a lil' back there."

Hollow rolled her eyes when the idiot mentioned he was calm, half chuckling at his reaction to being pulled down beside her. The orange vixen was acting...motherly. Right? This wasn't some attraction she had for the brat, right? Of course not. Because Hollow was Hollow. She didn't date. Last time she had seen him, before today, she had yelled at him for being so...persistent. Now? Hell with it.
When he licked her fur she blinked at him, giving him a look as if he was an idiot, again. Hm, it seemed she had a new nickname for the male. Idiot Katsu. Her ears went back, realizing quickly that she would have to go home eventually. Home to Himeko.
Unless she followed Katsu?
"My legs fine." She mused, tail flicking about before looking straight at him in the eye. "It was scratched."

Taking notice of her ears flicking back, Katsu frowned. He didn't pout or scowl like he usually did, he frowned. He hated it when loved ones were upset or irritated or hurt or - ..Wait. Loved? Wait.. What.
Katsu blushed a little at the idea, only to blush even more then she looked him in the eye. Crap. "Lemme see your leg." He said, tone just a little more demanding than usual. 'Oh 'Deities, Hollow, c'mon!' Pfft, not answering after five seconds? Too long. "Oh, here." Not waiting for an answer, he moved his head off her neck to look her injury over. That strange, demanding tone, along with the odd change of mood was.. probably due to him getting caught up in his thoughts again. His extremely confusing thoughts.
She was... a loved one? He loved her? Tha-.. What? No... What?
He became flustered at this.. kinda-sorta realization, growing quiet to avoid bringing attention to the blush over his face. Aaand he was probably failing. Oh, Katsu really, really, really had to hold himself back from just letting out a sudden laugh and grinning like an idiot. One girl wasn't supposed to do this! No! He was supposed to be a troublemaker like Uncle Pyre said, he was supposed to go out and chat it up with pretty vixens and end up getting in trouble for the resulting flings. That was all suppose to lead to him having kids dumped on him! He was supposed to get in lots of trouble and raise hell and..
Ooh wait, maybe it was the cut on his forehead screwing with him! Yeah, that was probably i-.. No. This was ridiculous! This.. this silly, ridiculous, stupid.. stupid girl, she scrambled his thoughts and made his head spin and... she.. Argh, this girl. Katsu gave a soft huff of defeat as he raised his head. Avoiding her gaze for a short time, he quietly thought to himself before making eye contact.
"You... should stay overnight. Here, with me. I think you should. You know, so you can rest your leg and stuff. I don't want you gettin', er, hurt more or anythin'. Or.. yeah. Stay?"
Oh, who the hell was he kidding, he cared for her. No one else could make him babble like an awkward idiot like.. like that.

His rambling did not help the expression she was giving him, which was once again a face saying the word "idiot" all over it. She had done little to give him access to her leg, even jerked it away when he moved to check, only to return it when she realized he was serious for once. Why did she love being so difficult all the time? Her tail flicked idly as he rambled, eyebrow raising as a smirk twitched on her lips.
He reminded her of a kit, confessing his love to his first crush. This caused her to chuckle, yellow eyes narrowing as her face scrunched slightly. Really, what was with this boy? Why did she seem so.... natural around him? Oh hell, she was not going deep into thought at the moment. No, she was going to just take it easy and relax.
Relax.
Relax? She had some weird guy all over her, asking her to stay the night! Hell, she never showed affection, and she wasn't going to just.... sleep beside him. She needed to see Himeko! No. No. Himeko had Kaname now. And who did Hollow have? No one. Well...
'Hell no, did I really just consider....Katsu? I must be sick.' Fine, she'd stay the night, prove that she was not a softie by leaving before he even woke, and ditching him. Katsu. Oh. Oh oh oh! Even before today he had been stuck in her head! Dammit! She couldn't just ditch him, could she?!
'Lets find out.'
"Fine, I'll stay the night. Only the night."

Katsu blinked. He hadn't really expected that answer! "You're going to stay?" Eying her with a look of doubt, he tilted his head to the side just slightly. She... was actually going to stay? With him?.. This would be interesting. Composing himself, he gave a grin. "Well, alright then."
He reached over to give a fond little n** at her cheek, a grin still on his face. "So. Dinner. We never got the chance to hunt something, since we were so rudely interrupted. You wanna go look for something to eat?" Then, slowly, Katsu let a smirk take the grin's place. "Or.. should we just skip the meal and go straight to bed?~" Adding a quirk of his eyebrows to the little act, he finally let out a small laugh. This teasing thing was fun. She was fun. Hell, all of this was fun.

"Those the words that left my mouth, right?" She confirmed his question of her staying with, one eyes closing when he nipped her ear and giving him an expression that clearly said her lack of experience with fond nudges from men. She flicked her tail, standing up and looking at him, flipping her tail with a quick movement, hissing out a 'tch' sound.
"Keep dreamin', boy." She cooed at him sarcastically at his words, however rewarded him with a nudge of her hip to his, perhaps startling herself more than he would ever be. Fine, she could have some fun for once, relax a little.
She took her time slowly walking ahead, going to look for prey. If he came or not was not a concern, she'd return to him if he didn't. She had promised, sorta, and she kept her promises.
