Jonas frowned a little as he watched Alois suddenly take the sword. He let go of it and his hands went back to his sides without complaint. It was rare to see a blade get that beat up unless they had it for years or hit some hard objects.
He started to question if this guy was abusive. He was pretty tough on Felicity but she did seem to be fiery to say the least. Although he stayed silent he really didn't like the way he was treating her, but it wasn't his place to judge.
As he looked her in the eyes he was taken aback by her looks although he hid it. Out of all the women he seen, dated, even slept with not one of them even compared to her. As he stood their a thought drifted into his head, what did Hraapea mean exactly?
Before he could speak he saw the man reach for her back and yanked her back suddenly. Something he saw as unnecessarily.
That was when he knew something was wrong. No one could get yanked back like that. "Alright, I get it. If it will stop you from hurting her I'll leave." He said a frown on his face.
If this had been another situation he might of actually did something but it wasn't. "You don't have to hurt the poor girl." he said as he looked Alois in the eyes for a moment, they carried his disgust as he started to turn away.
It wasn't worth it if this girl has to suffer for a few questions.

Felicity reached her hands up, pulling her hood off to look at Alois. "Alois! Your being rude!" she said. Stepping back, she turned on her heels to move closer to Jonas.
"Get back here." Alois growled. He wanted her to keep her safe, and away from others.
"I'm not a child anymore, nor a teen. I can do as a please, father." Felicity said looking back at him then at Jonas. She wanted to say something to others that weren't her father or the man or woman at the marketplace. It something else to speak and hold a normal conversation with someone.
"Sir! He's not hurting me, he's just being a father." she reassured, moving up beside Jonas. Smiling she studied him, looking over his facial features. It was different then some other people she had seen.

Jonas frowned as he watched the two argue with each other. He hated that that could of been him if he had kids. Maybe it was a good thing he never had them...or at least he never meet them.
As he saw Felicity move closer to him he didn't say or do anything. This was a matter between them, although if this had of been one of his children he would of done it differently.
"I see...well that's something I don't know anything about." He said with a slight smile hoping to clear the mood up. As he saw her looking him over he questioned what she was thinking. He smiled back still amazed by her looks. He then looked back at Alois awaiting his reply.
"Maybe I can meet you half way? You be at the dinner with us in ear shot. That way you can take her when you don't feel comfortable." He offered.

"Ear shot? No, I will be beside her," Alois said moving closer to them. He wasn't about to let some stranger go out to dinner with Felicity, let alone someone that looked as old as Jonas.
Felicity stuck her tongue out at Alois, not liking his idea at all. To her it was just useless, over protective was more like it. "What if we had dinner at the inn? They serve food there right? It’s safe, but it’s not like he can kill me from across a table."
The nerve was struck. Alois moved his hand up to his sword, now watching Jonas. There was a chance that she could die, no matter where she went; but her words reminded him of the severity of her being alive and him housing her all these years. Dire consequences would be upon him if anyone found out.
Felicity noticed Alois' hand and sighed heavily, shaking her head. "Father, he won't kill me." she assured him. "You won't kill me, right?" she quickly asked, looking at Jonas.

Alois was really making Jonas wonder how much trouble it was to be a father. Besides, if Jonas had wanted to make a move on her he would of. Not like he cared before of girl' s fathers. All he wanted was his questions answered. "That's fine with me." He said simply.
He gave a small chuckle as he saw her stick her tongue out in such a childish way. That's a nice way to flip off your parent. I know worse. he thought holding back a laugh at his teenage years in the barracks. "Yes they do. That's fine with me as long as it is with your father."
As he watched Alois hand move to his sword his eyes locked with Jonas.
"Hmm, what will you do when she is dead and need to socialize with other people? Your line of work that possibility is still constant. Your hurting her by not allowing her to be social, ever thought about what she will do if something does happen to you?" His words carried the wisdom that came with age. Alois was highly protective of his daughter, maybe he'll realize he's hurting her by being like this.
He gave a amused blink as he heard Felicity question. "Why would I want to do that?" He asked a smile crossing his face. "I wouldn't dare." He finally said looking back at her protective father.

Felicity smiled and looked towards where the inn was. There were very few places she knew of in any town she had traveled to, but inns were ones that she knew. She spent many nights in them while Alois was out doing his job. "Good! I'm getting hungry...How about we go and eat." she suggested. She was glad that Jonas wasn't going to hurt her, and now she naively trusted him because of his word in spite of Alois' past warnings when she was growing up.
Alois shifted slightly, thinking of how to answer back to Jonas. His words bothered him to the point of now he relaxed his tense body. He thought more on the words, and what Felicity would do. To him it was a possibility that he held, but Alois just never wanted to answer it himself.
"She knows how to socialize," he stated looking at Felicity. She did know how to talk to others, and to hold a reasonable conversation. Well, to hold a conversation to get food, that was about it.
It was difficult for him to imagine Felicity actually being about to walk through the streets without her cloak on and the leather over her talons. The only possibilities he could see resulted in desecration of her body, and that made him wince. She was his daughter, and there was no way he would allow it.
Reaching out he pulled her hood once more and, this time, tossed it over her head. It opened and billowed out enough to barely miss her pointed ears as it came down. "You need to keep that over you," he mumbled, kindly.
Shifting slightly Alois gained back his glare and looked at Jonas. "She'll do fine on her own." he stated. "I am not hurting her, I'm protecting her for her own good, and do not think I'm not. You know nothing of what she or I have been through." he said a little sternly.

Jonas gave a encouraging smile to Alois as he watched the man have a inner argument with himself. Maybe this was good for all three of them. As he heard Felicity talk he turned and looked at her, "That sounds awesome to me." He said before he started to think over if she really just took his word. If that was the case she could seriously get hurt one day. "Dinner and a nice conversation. Sounds like a good way to end a day." he said nodding.
Victory slowly started to rise in his chest. He either just got a major link to getting his own Hraapea or just helping a girl out with her father.
"I see, well maybe I can help increase her skill." He said giving a smile as he turned half way and made a small bow. "Well a nice dinner; good conversation, and maybe a few of my questions answered and I'll call this a well spent trip."
He said coming up from his bow, the end of his sentence carried why he even took the risk of talking to her in the first place.

Alois shifted slightly, looking at Jonas for a moment before he glanced at his daughter. "What do you want to know?" he asked, taking his role as a father again.
Felicity smiled slightly when Jonas bowed. She felt almost like royality in a way, since hardly anyone ever bowed, well not to either of them. Even when Alois' caught a big criminal there still wasn't a bow for him.
"Increase my skill? Like fighting?" she asked looking at Jonas then at her father. Turning on her talons she started to walk down the street. She knew the inn was a few buildings down and she wanted to get there as soon as possible. Food was a quick way to her heart, and an even quicker way to her stomache.
"You're paying, right Alois?" she asked, looking at her father. She stopped saying father after she was child. It was easier for the both of them if she had.

Jonas gave a slight shrug hearing Alois speak, it was almost the equivulent of defeat. "Just some facts. Strengths, durability, mental capacity. Pretty much their true potential." He said before looking back at Felicity.
"Hmm sort of my dear." He said smiling as he followed after her. She really was the hot blooded kind of girl. No wonder her father had to be rough with her.
Hearing her ask for Alois to pay he frowned slightly feeling that it was wrong. "That is unnecessary, it was my idea and I am wanting to have some questions answered. So I'll pay for it."

Felicity smiled and took a few more steps before spinning on her talons once again. Then after her little dance she stopped in front of a building. Looking up at it she smiled at it, thinking about the food that would lie on the other side of those doors. "Fine, fine, as long as I get my food." she said with a quick nod looking back at them. She didn't care much about who was playing.
Alois sighed and shook his head, thinking Felicity was going to get herself in trouble again. "Their? Whose true potential?" Alois asked, looking at Jonas before he looked back at Felicity. Shifting slightly he moved past Jonas and closer towards Felicity until she opened the door, and disappeared into the building. Alois was quick to grab a hold of the closing door, keeping it open, as he watched Felicity for a second before he looked at Jonas. "Questions like those will be answered with more questions," he warned. "But why don't we all get seated, and food ordered first." he said before he looked into the inn.

He got a laugh out o Felicity's antics. "I see you know what you want." Jonas joked as he looked at Alois a sly smile coming on his face.
As he got enough to walk pass Alois he whispered only faintly enough so Alois could hear. The look on his face was a no nonsense look that he let on his face for a split second so Alois could get his point "You know who, the Angels among men." He said making a nod at Felicity, it was a risk to take but he hopped to force Alois's hand by using this bluff. He had reason to believe she was a Hraapea but he was taking a large risk by doing this.
His smile came back on his face as he looked at the mercanry and smiled. "So true." He said walking and sitting down at a clear table. "Order what ever you both want." He said offering them the two chairs in front of him.

Alois' soft eyes quickly became sharp. He wasn't at all pleased with what Jonas had said, let alone what might be now at risk. It was too dangerous to make Felicity leave with him, but it was also too dangerous to stay and talk. He'd have to keep an eye on his daughter, even closer now.
Felicity quickly plopped her butt down at one of the seats. She carefully leaned forward; making sure she wings didn't get too bunched up because of the chair. Straightening her back up she smiled and raised her hands up in the hair, excited with it all. "Yes! Yes! Food!" she said, excited like.
"Stop acting like I never feed you." Alois said coldly. He wasn't at all in a good mood anymore, let alone wanting to deal with Felicity's childish acts about food. Looking at her face, he sighed and sat down. The markings on her face bothered him like the pointed ears did. Fortunately both of them had white hair, even though his was a bit different then hers. "I'm not hungry, Felicity go ahead and get what you normally get, go overboard if you want." he said not caring if he ran Jonas' out of money.

Leaned back in his chair and looked at a menu that was in a holder on the table. His mind wasn't on food but he hadn't ate all day. Then on top of that he was pulsing with the urge to suddenly ask them both so many questions. He even had blackmail on Alois so if he didn't answer he would get an "encouragement" from him.
"Go ahead and order what ever you want. I'm happy to pay. If you don't mind me asking Felicity have you ever been hunted something on your own?" He asked curious, the question was a way to gauge her physical strength. Good god he would of jumped out of his seat if she said a Snapper hound or something more dangerous.
He looked at Alois with a smile, the type as if he had just got a checkmate on him. "Ahh don't be so grumpy my friend. It's not like the goverment is chasing you down!" He joked with a laugh hoping he got the point. He would never do it, but like he said before. Encouragement, although it felt sort of wrong doing this behind Felicity's innocent mind. Although it was probably for the best.
He wanted a Hraapea and he was willing to stick his hand into a snakes mouth to get it.

Felicity pulled up the menu, gazing at all the choices she could have. She was going to gorge herself with food, it was surprising at how much she could fit into her stomach. "I want...Everything on the menu that has fish...and..Oh! Rolls! Hmmm, Oh!! Cake! Alois! I can have cake right?!" she asked looking at her father. Puppy dog eyes taken affect on her face, wanting to get it.
She was completely oblivious to the men's talk, food was more important to her. The only part of their conversation was when Felicity heard her name. "Hmm, yes! Out in the forest," she answered before she looked back at her father. "Puh-lease?! Cake?" She has fought some hounds, but at this point in time she didn't care to name what she has fought.
Alois looked at her for a moment before sighing and shaking his head at her. "Fine, fine, you can have your cake as long as you actually eat it all." he said looking at his daughter before he looked at Jonas.
"The government? Why would they be chasing me down? I'm just a simple man trying to make enough money to support him and his daughter." Alois said calmly. Though he couldn't do much, Alois would've loved to just take out his blade and shove it through Jonas' chest.

He smiled at Felicity and was so grateful he had toke that extra money out of his bank account but it was wroth it. "Go ahead and order it!" He said smiling as he listened to her. Just the slightest tilt of his head as he heard of speak out in the forest.
"Wow really? What exactly was it? A hound or a feline?" He asked scratching his hand against him to keep his cool. He still had to deal with Alois.
Jonas gave a slight shrug as he watched him. "Hmm, well considering the fact they take them Angels as a threat. Wonder what they would do to one? I remeber one time they had a being from the portal. The cut him wide open while he was alive to "gague" his pain reaction." He said hopeing to hit a soft spot. It might be low but it probably wasn't like they were going to meet again.
Unless this man wanted to try and keep him silent.
