Toshi looked at the boy. Obviously he has had more experience then himself. Toshi watch the kid coyly but after the comment about what he did was nice Toshi couldn't help but smile. "I suppose. Why not? Just for fun then huh?" Toshi watched him carefully as he took a few steps back. Eying the kids sword he found himself getting nervious again.
Toshi watched him for a split second more then charged at him. Toshi hand the first move he slid to the left side of the child and aimed a punch to his solarplex.

"Yeah, just for fun." as he said this Mashida looked down to hit sword. It would be cruel to try and fight someone unarmed with a sword. Not only that, but Mashida knew Toshi was an academy student. It wouldn't be fair like that. Quickly he tucked his sword away, and readied himself with fists up. He wasn't much of a taijutsu user, but that's what battles were for.
Toshi started and Mashida's eyes watched him, his weight shifting. As the boy unexpectedly slid he tried to side step out of the way. The first hit him hard though, and the boy winced as his breath left him. Through the pain he jumped back to get some distance before thrusting out with his fist. He was hesitant against a boy he knew as an academy student so aimed for his shoulder to avoid hurting him too badly.

Toshi's hit as he tried to follow through but Mashida was good. Toshi watched him jump back. He was shocked as one of Mashida's punches connected and hit his shoulder. Toshi spun from the momentum of the punch and almost landed face first on the ground. Toshi let out a slight growl. He got to his feet and watched the boy slowly cirlcing him with one move lunged for Mashida. His arm back and ready to swing. Toshi took a few more steps toward Mashida and when he was withing range. Toshi swung his arm will all his might at Mashida. Quote: Toshi's hp 20/30 Mashida's dogde 8>1 (Failure)

Mashida threw himself back out of the way of Toshi's punch his back foot landing in a stance. While Toshi would be a bit of balance from his swinging punch, the boy ran forward at him, his teeth flaring and his eyes utter determination and power. Mashida threw all his weight down and forward to gain enough momentum in the small space to tackle Toshi. His arms extended out to grab Toshi's body and push him to the ground, hopefully knocking the wind out of him.
Ab:6+9=15
Toshi's db:7 hit
(Let's try using a jutsu! Use any of the e rank jutsu in this fight, if you were to say use the replacement technique successfully you wouldn't take the damage I'm about to roll.)

Toshi looked around for something. Anything that could be used or even just plain useful. A thought drifted into his head as he watched Mashida coming at him at full force. "Kawarimi no Jutsu." With a flash of smoke Mashida's sword was where Toshi's body had once been. Toshi took a sidestep and hid behind a column to catch his breath. He was almost to afraid to breathe for fear he might be over heard. Toshi glanced around the column slowly.

(K missed a few things, that's okay though ^_^. When using a jutsu don't forget to post it in up as well as any effects that it would have that turn. It would look like this:

Kawarimi no Jutsu (Replacement Technique)
This is a technique that usually confuses the attacker. The user quickly projects themselves with another nearby object such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack.
Cp cost: 1
Damage: N/A
Requirements: Must have something to replace with.
Training days: Academy time.
Special: Add chakra mod to dodge bonus. You cannot use this while in a defensive position.
You can't just poof out of the way of anything, you just add your chakra bonus to the dodge bonus, but my attack bonus was 13 so I still hit you sad sorry, I didn't know that would happen. The only other thing would be to try and write a little more.)

its okay chee chan im an idiot lol. Toshi attempted the Jutsu but didnt have time for it to work properly. Toshi tried to slide at the last moment but got hit in the face. He was sent spinning around and falling to the ground a few feet behind where he once stood. Staggering he forced himself to stand up. His body tembled and ached. Toshi felt a surge of anger rise up through him. The wind around him whipped violently.
