I believe TMO is referring to me, and I am older than dirt!

Happy Birthday, Jiggy! You big baby! whee You're not old! You don't even have gray hair yet!

You'll have to let us know where you actually went for your birthday!

I went to a lovely restaurant called Moonshine. There, I had beer battered asparagus and corn dog shrimp for appetizers. They were lovely. The asparagus came with a chipotle ranch dressing, and the shrimp a honey mustard, swirled with blueberry sauce.

I had a lovely New York Strip with a pepper crust and caramelized onion sauce, with homemade mac and cheese, green beans, brown sugar glazed carrots and corn and black bean hash. I also tasted some great things, since my friends love to share...so I had some Paneed Chicken with Lemon Rosemary Cream Sauce, some Rainbow Trout with Sage Stuffing, and a little Pork Tenderloin with Raspberry Chipotle Glaze.

I also had actual moonshine...it really earned it's name...it burns going down. Now I understand why they call it white lightning. They brought a little brown jug out, and 4 shot glasses with a touch of peach liquor in the bottom. We poured the moonshine into the shots, but I sipped mine. *laughs*

For dessert, we had homemade apple pie with maple ice cream, and a piece of white chocolate bread pudding with raisins and vanilla ice cream. Whoot!

I'm scheduled for meals all week, too: Cuban lunch today, Southern tomorrow, Interior Mexican on Thursday night, and Upscale French on Friday...and finally Persian next Monday! Oh the joy!

Now that I'm full, I shall now go suck my thumb, and search diligently for grey hairs! *hugs Fresnel* You're still a baby, too...grey hair or no...you're so young at heart!

If thirty-two is old, then I've long since had my mid-life crisis. sweatdrop

But no matter the age, have a very happy birthday!

Lol ZeeFishee, thank you! *hugs*

Hope you had a great birthday yesterday! How was the strip club? wink

Lol the strip club was non-existent...however, I did have a New York Strip Steak...I wonder if that counts?

I did have a lovely day, yesterday, though! Thanks! Whoot!

Oh Gawd, Jiggy, what culinary bliss! It all sounds so wonderful!

I'm glad you had a great time!

Thanks for the compliment, by the way! I don't feel as old as I am, on the inside anyway!

*hugs Fresnel* I'm glad you feel that way! T'is good for the soul!

As for the Jiggy Week in Food, if you get curious, I made another thread for the subsequent discussions of my erstwhile week of meals. I haven't paid for one yet. *laughs*

Tonight will be Fonda San Miguel, an upscale Interior Mexican restaurant. Tomorrow night, I'm going to Aquarelle, a fabulous French restaurant....so I'll add those descriptions to that thread.

Tomorrow is the day I turn 32. Wish me luck...

I'm going to a nice dinner with some friends at a place called Moonshine...it's homey and pleasant.

Have a Happy New Years and do something fun today for me!

So. Old. The. Oldness. Is. Too. Much.

Happy Birthday, again. smile

Watch out, Khall. The old people here might unite and take over the world. Oh, oops. We already did. It's not your turn yet, apparently. blaugh

I am actually 33, I just can't figure out how to fix my birthday field in my profile. Which is why I like to tease Jiggy about her decrepit ancientness and how the ponderous eons of her age weigh down upon all matter like a pressing ponderous heavy thing that weighs down upon all matter. wink

You get him Jiggy!

Come on, now, we want to see some pictures of the middle-aged duo!

(Footnote: I once heard it said that middle age is however old you are, plus 10.)

Oh, happy birthday! - bit late...
Sorry I didn't see this thread earlier...
I'm glad you had a good day, and remember, you're young until you give into age. Never give in, never surrender, you'll stay young forever, doll!

If you have a broadband connection and a lot of patience? You could see us (I think) at http://www.incubbus.com/fishies/ That was our trip to the Seattle Aquarium. I am not perfectly sure that there is an actual picture of me in there. But I think there might be somewhere. smile
