A last sniffle, the tears had finally stopped; hints of that soft, gentle smile returning to her maw. Had she learned a lesson today? Yes, she had. Would that lesson last for longer than today? Probably not, in fact she would probably have forgotten it by that evening. Would she listen to Tauron a little more? Maybe, maybe not, Tauron wasn't holding his breath.
"Awinita, but you can just call me Nita. That's Tauron."
She indicated to the hare at her paws who answered with a wave. Sigh, well it was a bit late to protest about the new lion now wasn't it. (Hey, he was a rabbit, lions usually ate rabbits, can't blame a guy for being cautious can you?)
It was several moments before she realized she'd forgotten part of her introduction. Oh yeah, her clan! He had told her what clan he was in, it seemed only polite to tell him the same.
"Earth clan."
But clan didn't matter, she'd made a new friend, a soft cuddly friend. Helaku, she liked him.

As Nita began to cheer up, Helaku began to relax a little more. She was recovering from having her foot chomped on and seeing the chomper chomped, which was good. Causing emotional distress in such a gentle-seeming lioness was definitely not high on his priority list.
"That's a very pretty name, Nita." Peering down at the hare, he added, "And since I haven't properly said so, hello to you too, Tauron." Hopefully acknowledging him on a by-name basis would convince Tauron that he meant no harm...besides, if he got -that- hungry there was still a perfectly good gopher.

The gopher all but forgotten, the smile grew, her head butting against his shoulder in a playful friendly gesture.
"Your name is nice too."
Tauron was giving him a wary glance, one that he'd didn't quite trust the lion not to try to eat him, but if he did there would be one hell of a fight. It might have been unnerving considering it was coming from a rabbit to a lion, but it was at least brief, Tauron finally deciding he could trust Helaku for now. A soft grunt and he had settled a short distance from Nita's paws, taking the chance to enjoy a quiet moment in the soft grass.
Her cheerful mood had returned as quickly as it always did, the sun was bright, all was right with the world. Awinita had made a new friend, and they could talk, and play, chase butterflies, whatever they wanted. The sun was shining, it was a beautiful day.
