I'm curious to see what the new Eldar tank is going to be. I;'m hoping the new expansion will at least give rules for more flyers.
It's going to be a Nightspinner.

And it's going to be tanks only from what I've been told. Forge World has great, if somewhat clunky flyer rules. Failing that, there is always Apocalypse with its own version of them.

Hmm should be good to see. We've also got the new plastic kits, maybe it will include some tank upgrades, possibly kits that include the upgrades for a Firestorm. Who knows, we might get the Eldar Super Heavy tanks
Sadly, no. The only kits coming out are the Eldar Nightspinner with either parts for also an all platic Fire Prism or a recut Falcon with those parts, maybe the Eldar heavy support platform, a recut Leman Russ with all missing options and a Manticore/Death Strike kit.

Eldar Superheavies likely won't be along in plastic for a while, though they are the next branch that would seem logical to get one.

The other thing that I heard was that the Fire Prism is finally getting a plastic piece for its turret. Take it with a grain of salt, though.

Yes, it's another step into removing those horrible hybrid kits from the market, something I am quite pleased with.

edit.

Super-heavies are almost primarily for the realms of Apocalypse, so logically we won't be seeing any of that until the next release wave for Apocalypse, which might contain something really big and iconic this time round. wink

I'm waiting for some titans. I reckon a Warhound would be a cool release

I could just about guarantee that won't happen. Big tanks, yeah, but not the Titans.

I've revived the Apocalypse thread so titan chat can go there. wink

Shame, but oh well its one of those things.

Mind you all, Spearhead is not Apocalypse. It is a new scenario system that uses tanks and other armoured vehicles from the codex books.

edit.

New kits will go up for pre-order the 10th of May. Place your bets ladies and gentlemen.

* Leman Russ - either as a half-assed Basilisk kit or like the Demolisher kit, with all missing patterns
* Manticore + Deathstrike kit
* Eldar Nightspinner + Fireprism kit - full plastic
* Eldar heavy support platform - in full plastic

I've got a good feeling about the Russ kit. As silly as it sounds, I like to think that they learned from their mistakes with the Basilisk.

I do wonder about that Manticore kit though, especially the included Death Strike missile. If you go for the Manticore you'll be left with a rather big rocket. ninja

Conversion fodder of course. An excellent base for an Ork Pulsa Rokkit, or an Imperial objective, or just a piece of scenery. I'm half-tempted myself to get the kit, build a stupid Death Strike and keep the Manticore rig for a converted Ork trukk and turn that into a thrown together Katyusha.

Leman Russ with all the missing patterns would be huge gift to all IG treadheads...

There will also be a few blister releases, including two for the Imperial Guard, according to the source one they will like and the other they wont.

I guess we'll find out tomorrow, right? Maybe it is Pask, as it is a tank related release, or maybe new tank commanders in general.

theres rumours on warseer (since the couple of people who apparently know are saying that they'll only tell on monday (tomorow)) that there will be new conversions sets for the IG too.

so, logically thinking, what conversion sets would we get? im thinking kasrkin/stormtroopers. however, surely these would better fit a wholescale IG/Inquisition release...

other than them, maybe rough rider parts?

OR, more suited to the release; tank conversion kits.
