"Fine, fine," Daniel grumbld back, pulling out his pouch of ill gotten gains. This was going to hurt the already slim pickings, he could tell.

He poured out the gold on the counter, all in single gold peices, and just two shy of what the man was asking.

Daniel returned his pistol to it's place, tucked the clips into his pocket, pulled the kit off, tucking it under his arm, and took a k-bar, standard issue commando knife with him.

"See you back on the mountains Ryoko, and happy hunting," he said. He turned with a big smile, and walked outw ith his purchases.

"See you," Ryoko said, watching as Daniel walked away.

Turning to look at Freddy again, she frowned. "44,000... a bit steep, don't you think?"

Freddy shook his head. "I don't make the prices, I just charge 'em."

She looked at the luger longingly. She was so used to always having two firearms at the ready, but she knew it was more important to have a mellee weapon on hand in case she couldn't use her gun, for whatever reason.

"Just the shamshir, please," she muttered, pulling out her wallet and counting out 1,000 gold bills.

"Thanks for yadda yadda yadda," Freddy replied, taking the money and returning to his paper.

Ryoko grabbed the shamshir and strapped it to her back. The strap was a little tighter than she was used to, and the blade itself lighter. Feeling a little off-balance (it all being in her head, of course), she drew her Beretta from the holster on her right and put it where it's sister once rested, on her left. It still wasn't to her liking, but she'd have to adapt.

Without another word, she turned and left the shop.

Espyn Mannix

Espyn arrived at this estranged place and approached someone who seemed to be stocking a shelf, rearranging something, Espyn didn't really care, all he needed was a backup gun.

The dank and dim lights caused his thin pupils to expand into large black holes in his icy eyes, and his hair was dampened by the shadowy secrets.

"Can I help you?" the man asked.
"Yes.. where is the weapon storage? Moreso guns? I just need a hand gun.. nothing fancy." he smiled innocently, but not innocently enough to make him seem like a child.
"Hm..." the fellow was skeptical, damn these large eyes! However, Espyn gave the worker a look that made him seem all business, and it worked. "Okay, just let me know if you see something you like in that catalogue and I'll go back there and get it." he nodded, referring to a large steel door behind the darkness and a tattered pair of drapes.
"Thanks." Espyn smiled, turning away, but looking back to make sure the fellow's back was turned.

Espyn covered himself with his cloak and slipped on his feet, making water cushion each step, past the man, reaching the door and slipping through a small crack made in the bottom over the years, getting into the arsenal.

In the room there were stacks upon stacks upon shelves upon rows of guns and weaponry. Espyn, however, saw towards the top a closed box labeled "WaterFire" and smiled, jumping up to the shelf, using the other ranks as rungs. Opening the box, Espyn pulled out a silver gun, the perfect size for his hands, and heavy like a gun should be. He took a box of bullets, opened it, and loaded the weapon. Looking on a label, he read:

To A~E: These weapons are for specific use under water and submarine terrains and locations. These are special bullets that aren't affected by far as normal ones by the pressure and compaction of any given depth. Also able to be used on land, however they are used best when in a dank/wet/drenched environment.

Perfect.

Espyn took another just in case and latched both of them on his side, and was about to look around further when the clerk entered the room and shouted for the boy. "Crap!"

The youth jumped down directly in front of him and smirked, holding a random, empty gun in his hand aimed at the man who froze stiff. Laughing tauntingly, he grabbed a corner of his cloak and wrapped himself in it, melting into a pool of water and springing high, bouncing shelf to shelf again, and bursting through the steel-tiled ceiling.

Upon reaching the outside after scaling several layers of metals, he caught an easy air current and sped off back towards Barton.

No one seemed to be free to direct him to where he needed to go. Too caught up with what others where doing in the lobby Vercellius rolled his eyes and began to wander about. Looking for what he needed.

Search after search he had to perform. No one article of clothing could he find in the same section, nothing so simple. Each bit was found at seeming random through out the entire store and was rather time consuming. Finally with all the clothes he needed he reflected on what good grace it was that his half cloak had made it through the battle. Replacing the little birdies feathers would have been a problem.

With his first task completed he went in search of weapons and quickly came across them. The easiest part to replace where his knives which where simple and design with only the actual blade being worth much. He gladdly paid but when he began to ask questions about wraith bone and infrasound devices he met a stiff rebuff as no one seemed to have a clue to what he was talking about.

Finally he was pointed in the direction of one office of an individual named Lester. Standing before the door to the office he knocked his nuckles lightly upon the wooden frame. Calmly he waited for a reply and wonder how much these new devices would be. He still had to replace his mask and then there was the holo shroud he wished to purchase as well.

It was a slow process, so many forms and regulations where thrusted into his arms. Reems upon reems of paper for the express purpose of finalizing any and all purchases and promises extorted from the individual that they where not at all liable should any misshap should occure.

The hours of toil he put in so as to recieve what he could, his hand ached clear to the bone and was raw with blisters over his fingers that dripped tiny points of blood as he had been forced to sign his name over and over again. His eyes seemed as though robbed of sight so much fine print did he read.

In the end it was worth it for he recieved the wraith bone armour pieces he had asked for. Them being a breast and back plate along with a left gauntlet. The left wraithbone gauntlet even had the infrasound devices he had asked for. Though it was nothing as comparable to what he had originally hoped for, but it would still cause the disabilitating effects and if used long enough death in those subject to his wave.

The final crowning glorry was the holoshroud he had recieved. It would take his image and then split it into a maze of shapes, distorting his very figure which due to the nature of the device would also help to conceal where his true movements lie to those with a six sense.

The items would be shipped to his place of residence in six to eight business days. Shipping could take up to four weeks and was up for delay at an inspection point. All the satisification Vercellius had was bled away when he learned that small fact. Sighing he left the building to continue his current means and wait for the shipment.
