It's a perosonal desciosion, it isn't a sin, but if it makes weaker christians stumple (I mean weaker as not as strong in their faith) don't do it, again it is a oersonal descision

To me it is a sin. It says in the Bible that your body is a temple of God. I think it is wrong.

true. So I guess the only reason it would be a sin is because it's bad for ur body?

I've always thought that it is WHAT you tattoo that decides whether or not it is a good thing or not. I mean, I don't have any respect for people that have satan and other "bad" things tattoed on them selves, but what about "good" things, like a symbol of God?
I've always wanted a tattoo with a crucifix with the star of David on it, and a rose that sort of grows around it (hard to describe...). I guess It's a way for me to show who I am, and I don't mind tattoos being permanent since I am very sure that I will be a christian for the rest of my life.
But, as I understand, this is somehow a bad thing to do no matter what the tattoo looks like?

But, as I understand, this is somehow a bad thing to do no matter what the tattoo looks like? Well, I think it's what you tattoo which should determine if it's bad or not, like you said. Because if you tattoo a cross or somthing that would represent God

I think that getting a tatoo would be bad because I have alot of older friends that got a tatoo and now regret it. Plus it is against God word!
