this is will explain some things......and then name his infernal magesty is a joke, it mocked a certain religious leader who went by the title "His Imperial Magisty" so HIM made fun of it by calling themselves "His INFURNAL magisty", too many people get this parody mixed up with Satan, but HIM is far from satanic or pagan.......the heartagram is actually a symbol of perfect balance between love/life and death, and or life and death together...........and no.....HIM are not emo, they are Love Metal, they were once a black sabbath cover band, and they still have some heavy songs.......too heavy for emo......hope this gets rid of some misconceptions! wink

the heartagram is NOT evil, it is only HIM's symbol, and means a balance between life and death..........not evil.......at all........they even changed their name from "His Infurnal Magisty" to HIM because they were getting acosiated with Satanism and the Occult......and paganism......soo..they arn't pagan or evil....therefore there symbol isn't, or they'd have changed that too...... xd

wel....I doubt they worship satan or have pagan views if they changed their name to avoid being associated with those things........don't jump to conclusions unless you look into all the facts, logic says they arn't, because if their pagans or satanists, why would they change their name to NOT be associated with them? that's like a christian changing their name to seem like they're secular........doesn't make sense.......so don't through around acusations unless you're sure.....plus even if they actually are.....their lyrics arn't upfront about it, so it isn't of major concern....

personaly I don't like H.I.M. and the deceving evil is worst kind cause it perverts your mind slowly and by the time you know what's going on you are so brain washed you don't know what's going on.

i read an article in a magazine about Ville Valo on Satanism and stuff he seemed pretty into it and he did say the Anton LaVey's work was boring. Anyway who cares, h.i.m. is a crap band and in ABSOLUTLY no sence of the word metal. Love Metal is a title they gave themselves and is not a genre. talk2hand

any time any place!! im just so happy someone understands my point of view! what is with this plave and all the MCR and H.I.M. loving??? i dont get it half of these people dont even listen to real goth bands.

I don't listen to H.I.M alot, but like wikipedia said, they changed many things about their band to not be asspciated with the occult and satanism, they tried to get rid of that association for a reason, cause they arn't evil.... stressed

there was an amzing artcle about this in some magazine that i read. Ville was pretty into it and was referancing it a lot. but like you said Victum Soul its true, but its just so irratating because they are so close minded, im always open to broadening my musical tastes and learning the true facts from others that know more about the subject than i do. I dont want to be misinformed and i can take it when i am wrong. i just wish other would shut up and listen (to put it bluntly)
