Haruka was absolutely glowing at the scene--it was like one, big family gathering, even if she did only really know, and was related to one person there, she still felt welcome.

"Papa's doin' fine 's ever!" she responded. She was far more relaxed now that Rakutsu had shown up. She sweat a little as she noticed the sake bottles she'd forgotten. Whoops.

"We've been gettin' plenty a tourists 'round our place, so 'e's been real busy keepin' track a all the ninja'n'immigrants'n'passports. Snow's a place'a recent history, as I'm sure ya'll know."

Her sleeves flew about as she gestured while talking. So much cool stuff had happened in one day--and she'd only tripped five times!

...well, this is odd. Miss Mizukage's actually in a not-killing-people mood, which is certainly good. But that's the calm before the storm. Or something.

I stretched out on the floor, where the floorboards met the wall, and closed my eyes, listening intently on the conversation. So she's got relatives? Wonderful. All we need is a bunch of sake-wasted old nutcases roaming the streets with a cane and a death wish apiece. God, I had to choose the Mist Village, right? No showing up at Leaf or something, where the people were actually normal and stuff.

Well... at least they had beds here. Try finding a bed in, quite literally, the middle of nowhere, and you'll see what I mean.

Uh... what was that? I immediately ducked into a corner as a rather flustered lady walked through the door with... more sake, great. JUST what the Kage needed, another freakin' drink. Jeez, she's been at it for a couple days now. This is ridiculous.

My mind wanders as I try to keep track of the conversation and my thought process at the same time. When am I going to get my first mission, anyways? It's been a few weeks now, and I've got a job... but I need to DO something. I get bored. So sue me.

Ah, me and my boredom... recipe for disaster.

Mizukage Suijin smiled proudly. "That it is." she chuckled. A place of recent history that she helped fight for, and helped rebuild.

"If I may, Suijin- there's something I need your help with." Shouta said. There was a look of 'Don't even try to refuse- you owe me!' in the doctor's eyes that told her he knew about her having Devonte pull Ren out of the hospital.

'Heh heh.... well, at least Dev got out.' she thought with a small twinge of nervousness. She almost sweatdroped. "Sure, wat with?" she spoke as if she ahd noticed nothing.

He gently placed a hand on Rakutsu's shoulder and led her foreward to the desk. "It would seem as if the shock collar that Keichii gave her is interfering with her... arm." He moved around the desk, bent down so he was level with her ear, and cupped his hand to shield his mouth form curious eyes. "If you could summon the smallest electric eel possible, then maybe you could short-circut it."

Suijin tilted her head in thought, mulling the plan over. 'SHOCK COLLAR???' she thought back to that day. 'I thought he was just joking about that!' Mizukage Suijin knew what he meant by her 'arm'. She'd completely blown her top when Shouta told her he'd given it to Rakutsu. ....But that idea could work. Though... Rakutsu'd probably feel a bit of a shock. Not that she's probably not used to it by now. The Mizukage sensed a nearby chakra signature... eavesdroppers! She'd take care of him later, this wasn't classified information after all, just a friendly reunion.... though it was still rude.

"...Is Papa's collar givin' ya trouble 'gain, Auntie?" Haruka stated with an astounding lack of surprise. Apparently the Yukikage's familial relations weren't unknown to Haruka. She hardly even seemed concerned for her aunt. She sighed. "Papa said if ya tried ta take it off, I should hit ya, so if ya fought back he can have a reason ta hit ya 'imself," she nodded her head as though she were actually considering it, "But if it's really interferrin' that much, Ah guess it can't be helped."

The conclusion? Keichii Shiro really hadn't changed much.

Rakutsu turned and gave Haruka a side-long glance. As if she was about to say something. The thing was, Rakutsu wasn't planning on going back. So having a shock collar on would be useless. Plus it's embarrassing. . .She figured Haruka may catch on and figure it out for herself though, So she just smiled and turned back to Suijin and Shouta. They were whispering. . .this couldn't be good, whatever their plan was. Rakutsu had a s**t ton of patience for Haru. . .even when she was mentioning the hitting thing. Pffft, Maybe if she fought back he'd come up here himself. Wouldn't be a bad idea anyhow. . .Now wasn't a great time to mention it to Haruka. She'd have to wait till AFTER it was removed from her neck.

"Yaaright. I'll do it." She said. Hopefully, doing this would make things at least a little better for her situation with Shouta. No doubt, he was furious- but he was more the passive-agressive type. Which, in his case, could be just as frightening as Suijin's straight-out-agressive-style somehow! Even when he was physically injuring nurses and medics who stepped out of line he had this clam face that, as impassive as it was, shot daggers at you that made you feel awful! It was terrifying!
The Mizukage cuckled at Haru's comment, then stood and bit her left thumb, drawing blood. She rubbed her thumb into her palm to activate the summoning tattoo. She put at little chakra into it as she could. There was a poof of smoke and when it cleared, one of the small grunts wiggled in her palm. The electric eel was as small as could be, so it didn't hurt much to hold it- but she didn't want to give it the chance to rip out a giant shock on her! "HOLD STILL!" she yelled, chucking the eel at Rakutsu's neck. Hopefully she wouldn't chicken out and move. If it hit, it would wrap right over where the shock collar was and send out a small shock. Unfortunately- since they didn't really know just how weak or strong this would be, it would succeed in short circuting it, but Rakutsu would also feel a small frikkin painful shock. But nothing to do any real damage.

It took all of Rakutsu's willpower and curage not to move from her spot. She was creeped out with small things like worms of any type. . eels as well. To make it worse, it could and will shock her! Rakutsu didn't even have time to cringe when it landed on and wrapped around the shock collar. Rakutsu yelped in pain as she was sent back on her a** when it shocked her. Though, what was really painful to look at was her hair. The top layer of it seemed to stick up like a Chia pet. The shock collar made a small clicking noise, like you would hear if you stepped on a land mine. ''Kyaa! Get it off get it off!'' she squeaked. Sadly Rakutsu was more concerned about the eel than the collar, But it seemed to work, there had been no electrical response from it, besides the eel zapping her.

What the LIVING HELL was going on in there? I heard shouting and a poof of smoke, probably from a summoning, then the sound of someone getting hit by a Lightning Jutsu... uuuurgh. That's gonna hurt.

What the hell had that crazy Suijin-kage been drinking, anyways? Fermented sake juice with crazy mushrooms? Sheesh. Crazy.

I slowly got off the cround and into a crawling position, and crept away towards the exit, down the long hallway. Whatever was going on inside there, I had no wish to be a part of it. It sounded painful, for crying out loud.

'...Oops.' was all Shouta could think when Rakutsu got shocked by the eel. He kinda should have seen that coming. At least it seemed to have worked. Miho giggled when she fell back and the Kitagawa men just stood back- silently laughing to themselves.

Mizukage Suijin made a handsign to send the eel back. "There ya go!" She said with satisfaction as she sat back down. Not just at her success, but that the eavesdropper had apparantly taken his leave. "So what may I ask brings ya down ta tha Bloody Mist?" she said grinning. The papers on her desk were standard profiles of shinobi. Genin actually. She had recieved a few new files from the workers at the archives, and was working on revising her origional plans for teams. But it was still in progress, she would see to it quickly though. She still had to wait for the sensei of the second team to return after all.

((OOC: Sharad- Don't worry- I'm workin on something for ya! I'm just really busy right now but you won't be bored for long! mrgreen ))

__I don't know what the hell that was... but I guess it's over. I think. I stop creeping frantically down the hall and turn back. The Kitagawa guards have stopped cringing with sympathetic pain, and now they're laughing... which is good, I guess. I walked back to the office room as if I had just arrived, and the guards didn't seem to have noticed the difference.

I peeked into the room. A girl was lying on the ground, breathing a bit heavily, as if s**t-scared of something that wasn't there any more. Suijin-dono was laughing evilly (as usual), and Shouta looks a little pained and guilty. I grin and step in as if this was completely normal. Which it was. For the Mist Village.

"Mizukage-dono, you called?" I bowed respectfully and hoped that nothing woulg get thrown at me... nothing that I couldn't block or dodge, anyways. "I'm here for that Special Team you requested..." I kept my gaze low.

I was a bit of a misfit, really. I had only come two weeks ago and I had already assimilated into the community (if you could call a bunch of crazy drunk/homicidal people a community), but I was always a bit aloof; if not my rather recent arrival (and the state of said arrival), then the fact that I was a Wind-based shinobi in the land of Water. My fighting style differed greatly from everyone else's here... and it was a bit of an ostracizing factor when it came to the smoothness of conversations and stuff. This mission would prove that I could really be one of them, I guess... had to thank Kage-dono for that one.

[EDIT:
A: You were controlling my character- I did not call you for any reason. That is a form of god-moding.
B: F.Y.I- the guards aren't necessarily Kitagawas. There aren't nearly enough of them in the village for that. Why would she need guards anyway?
C: You are supposed to be posting in third person]

Rakutsu perked up as the Mizukage spoke. ''Thank you very much! Now i don't have to endure that mans stupid laugh when he zaps me. . Because. . .I GOT NO STRINGS ATTACHED!'' She bolted back up on her feet and started moon-walking. She was totally over doing it.

Rakutsu paused and straightened her posture, fixing her hair. '' Well, I'm here because i wanted to settle down here in the Bloody Mist, Hopefully.'' She said with a nervous look. She was positive Haruka was listening as well and not off in lala-land. ''After all, This was the village that kind of took us in after the attack. I feel like i belong here, You know? When I'm at the Snow village i feel like somethings missing. Though, when i step foot here, I feel like I'm actually home.'' Rakutsu found it difficult to explain her feelings on staying here, But she hoped the Mizukage got what she meant.

Haruka blinked. Her expression was caught somewhere between surprised and blank. She'd been smiling as Rakutsu did her silly dance after getting that collar off, but this was the first she heard of her aunt leaving.

"Y-You didn't tell me..?"

Haruka wasn't even trying to smile now. Rakutsu, her aunt, waited until now to say she was moving? Sure, she could understand not wanting to tell her father; he'd gone so far as to put a shock collar on Rakutsu to keep her from leaving, but Haruka?

Haruka didn't have many friends, as sweet and cheerful as she was, and after her mother died, well, she'd sort of latched onto Rakutsu. She was even her sensei!

"Ah... didn' even know you hated Snow that much..." she said slowly without emotion. How could she have been so stupid to not notice her own aunt didn't want to be in Snow!?

It was the click of the door opening that broke Haruka out of her stupor. She turned quickly to see who it was--a Mist ninja. Apparently he'd been summoned by the Mizukage. She smiled.

"Ah! Howdy! Haha, I hope we ain't gettin' in yer way here..." she turned between the newcomer and Suijin. She threw another smile at Rakutsu. It seemed a little sad, but otherwise normal.

((EDIT: I'm adding onto this post to push our side-story out of the way. We can leap back in whenever ya'll are done/we get some more free time.))

Haruka bowed politely to the Mist-nin and turned back to Rakutsu. "Auntie, c'mon. We can continue this later, right? He obviously has an appointment."

She quickly walked up to Rakutsu and tugged her sleeve to the door. They could wait outside until they were done.

The Mizukage looked up at the Mist genin. "What tha hell're you talkin about? I never sent for you! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM BOY?! WHAT DO YA THINK YER DOIN IN MY OFFICE!! WHAT'RE YOU- HIGH'ER SOMTHIN?" she barked at him. It was clear she wanted him to leave.... or else.

((Actually, I don't have anything planned for him yet- it was all just a mishap that's been worked out.
And once again Sharad- I'm working on something for you that will carry out a.s.a.p. 3nodding ))

(No first person? gonk )

"ASDFGHJKL OKAY AAAAAAUUUUGH!!!" Hanjin kinda screamed the words, and sprinted out of the room in speed not thought humanly possible, leaving only the taste of a licked spoon and a few fluttering papers behind him.
