Mirina suddenly notice the mans lack of interest in her and him turn his attention straight behind. She knew turning your back on some one was dangerous and figured something important may of happened. She followed the large foot prints the man left until she came across him and his probe infront of what appeared to be a pile of dirt. However, it appeared as if this pile of dirt was breathing! Mirina looked on a bit puzzled. she was sure she'd find out soon enough. She wasnt quite sure if the man was alright with her being there, but on the other hand, Mirina didnt care either way.

Mirina didnt want to intrude on what they were doing and would look on without speaking. She simply looked at the three. When she looked up, she saw a large sword. Mirina's brow tightened as she squinted to see any details on the sword, but couldnt over such a glare. She didnt dare make a run for the sword at a moment like this.

Alaric's probed turned around quietly as it looked at Mirina, it hovered bit closer to her. The probed hover at eye level and just looked at her as it scanners did there work once more, it moved in a little closer but did nothing at this point in time. Alaric took note of this very quickly and took a few steps back, keeping both the boy and her in sight.

As he did his little probe moved one of it limbs froward and poke her gently as it took a sample of DNA and began to analyze it. Alaric looked over at her, "what are you" he asked, his voice having an electronic tone to it. At this point in time things were looking very unclear, his probe moved away and hovered near Alaric as he waited for an answer from either of them.

Mirina glared at the question and also at the probe. Mirina had nothing to say to the man. She was more interested in the boy. She looked down in complete amazement. Her first question was how old he was. She could feel the demon in him. "Do you hold thy tongue to give us the appearance of death!?" She asked coldly, "I know you are alive as does this man or rather half man. It appears as if none of us are all entirely human." She looked at the man and his probe. Mirina didnt want a fight, but knew she was already on bad terms with the armored man just because she wasnt fully human. She sighed.

A moan of mild pain floated up from the pile of dirt and dust as the two people stood atop looking down into the ditch before them quickly followed by the heavy crack of bone against bone, a knee cracking as the leg it held in place curled up to the chest of its owner, The pains of tumbling head over heels down the slope covered everything from head to... well heel, It overwhelmed the first jab of the little scanner as well as the second leaving the child all the more oblivious...

Riack was all but oblivious laying in wait in the inside, He could hear every whisper of a thought every whim of a emotion at the same moment its owner felt it all without listening... The demon inside knew the scanner had told its master the boy was half human in error with its inability to understand its own data... more importantly to himself was the girl and her interest in the blade, not such much the fact she was interested in it but the idea she had considered about taking it... something that would not be permitted.

"Im hu-human... like you..."

Tory rose slowly from the dirt to let the man look at him with his own eyes as well as the angel in human form...

"I have my Tag's..." He reached under his shirt pulling on the beaten up string gently pulling the small metallic plate into view... "See" He looked back to the earth not really wanting to make eye contact with Alaric or his little floating friend "You two arn't going to kill me are you... everything out here wants to kill me.

"I see then the boy is a half demon of sorts and that makes you half celestial" Alaric said as he looked over at the two. After the boy took out his tags, the probe moved closer to the boy and took a look at then before running a quick scan. It sent the information back over to Alaric for him to make the decision. "I have no reason to kill you boy, I give you an option now, come with me and receive further testing to staying out here" Alaric said as he looked over at him. This is what they did with all humans, they had ways to determine a few things of a person although some times it did no end well.

Mirina wrenched at the idea of the boy going with a half human with the intentions of studying him. She could always heal his wounds, but she was leery of him. This boy and his demon. She wondered though. Mirina then looked up to the sword. Would the demon inside the boy make him get up if she went for the sword? Mirina wasnt cruel enough to find out. In anycase she wanted to know why the demon wanted the sword. She could sense it was more than just a mere mortal weapon. "I could heal you," Mirina offered in a more sweet tone. She used her fingers to bring her bright white hair behind her ear and out of her face, before lowering to her knees to clear the dirt off of him.

Alaric received contact from his command, he learned that some of his brothers had engaged the enemy near a portal that opened up in north america. "So it seems we are at war then, the enemies of man will fall" he thought for a moment."This matter is no longer of my concern, we are war with the celestial" Alaric said before he turned his back and continued to walk towards one of the entrance points to the underground base.

It seemed that the launch of the orbital weapons was still underway and would begin soon here. In the distance a few trails of smoke could be seen going straight up, North America would have some support now but it could not be used now they would need to wait for the set up to finish. Alaric let out a huff of air as he walked through the rubble of the city he was in, he came across bodies and a few other sights that were a bloody mess. This is what there future would hold for the, either humanity would die off, survive or cause the destruction of this planet.

Humanity became blind to a degree and went to seek help to slay the celestial. There hate for them grew to such a large degree that they would send one of there men to the netherworld to talk to the demons that thrived there. They saw this as a useful alliance seeing as they had a common enemy the celestial and as such Alaric would be sent to the portal in South America to negotiate with the demons and there kind.

Alaric stayed in the human base until they had him suit up and head for the gate, they still had a few war machine that would prove very useful and soon enough he was dropped off some distance away from the portal in south america. Alaric had no trouble reaching the portal how ever this is the first a human has been sent through one as well he was accompanied by his probe. He was expecting heavy resistance as soon as he had reached the other side of the portal but he went because he had been ordered.

"Tell me something I don't know," Maireachtáil tapped her booted foot on the ground, listening intently to the humming of her navigational system.

-10111-

"Oh?" Her eyes lit up and the engine came to life for her. Her bike and her navi were both very familiar machines, and didn't usually take much more than a thought to engage.

-00010100- Her sensors chimed in, their tone insistant.

"Calm down, I'm headed down there, Navi already pegged out the situation, so you're a little behind the curve their Sen," the girl giggled.

-1011-

"Don't be that way, you know I was only playing," she frowned for a moment then forgot the conversation, promptly. Anyone listening to her might think her a bit mad, since the conversation was entirely one sided. Still, the young woman had definite direction now and she sped off through the rubble, navigating with a bit of recklessness through the dangerous terrain. She had a semi-automatic strapped to her back and at least two firearms visible at her sides. Metal detectors would have a hayday at any part of her body, contraptions and weapons were attached to every part of her.

"Shhhh," Mair hissed. "I am trying to focus. I can't do it with you all humming at once." All of the machines around her fell into silence, lights dimming and the air becoming perceptably cooler. after a few moments concentration and listening to the one problem machine, Mair straightened up and punched the air.

"Right on! We have this situation handled. Are we ready to engage?" excited hums issued from all around her. It had been a long time for all of them.

She was standing in a massive and broken down concert hall, one that must have been great in some time of old. Navi had sent her on this mission, one that was of great importance to a lot of the humans in the area. It was a mission of hope.

There had been a bit of interference. She got caught in the cross fire of a minor battle between the yuppies and the nasties. Nothing she couldn't avoid. Out of a broken window she could still see them, plugging away with endless bounds of hatred for each other, their missed attacks hitting anything around with no regard. What little vegetation that had been left in the area was now charred black. The girl's eyes narrowed and her hand went into the air. It was something she didn't like to do, seeing as it caused more distruction than good a lot of the time.

But right now she was royally pissed off. She extended herself, bouncing her conciousness across the signals, blazing through firewalls with varying degrees of difficulty. She took familiar routes when she could and eventually made it to her destination. As she launched her attack, she timed her mission completion. It would take them a minute to get here....

As the first missile came streaking across the sky, Mair cranked the volume and screamed at the top of her lungs.

"TAKE THIS YOU SON'S OF BITCHES!" And the beasty boys came on, echoing over the battle ground.

YOU GOTTA FIGHT
FOR YOUR RIGHT
TO PARTY!

The battle below paused for a moment before disregarding the human nuisance. They had just begun to get back into the thick of things when their world lit on fire. Demonic and angelic flesh was seared from bone and the blast caused Mair to fall on her a**, even from her distance.

"Woo!" she sighed, rolling back to her feet. Her sensors screamed angrily at her about the loss of the budding plant life beneath the soil. Mair shrugged and vacated the building, the music still blasting behind her.

So, it seemed that the humans had entered into a alliance with the demons. A portal of some sort had opened to the Netherworld. However, Sangre just didn't feel like joining the rest of the humans just yet. Besides, it wasn't as if the move was going to take one day. There were still enough humans and enough equipment that it would take a bit of time.

Sangre was taking a walk at the moment, a rare occasion for doctors in the human race. Under the conditions, the doctors had to care for those still alive. The scientists dealt with the dead and half dead. Upon his return to the human development, he would then move his stuff through the portal to the Netherworld. The question was really Do I want to go there? Sangre was neutral to it, but he had stayed with the humans for so long.

At that moment, a huge rumble caused Sangre to lose his balance and almost knocked his glasses off his face. "What?" he gasped as he saw a massive cloud in the distance. Some kind of bomb or explosive of some sort. Nearby, he could hear music, and in the distance he saw a broken down building. Cover, just in case. He immediately started running toward that direction, gun in hand.

Sangre made a face as he got closer. That is some loud music. Someone had to be there for music to be playing. Another human?

Mair pushed her parrot colored hair back from her face and whipped the tail end of her bike around. Beneath her, the bike complained noisily about potential damage to it's tires. It's rumblings increased as she scanned the area, trying to decern the best random direction.

-10000011- Mair contemplated this.

"You think so Navi, it looks a little rough down there." the machine hummed more of it's information. "Oh, I see. Really? How many kilos away? Do you think I could uncover it without interference? What's the water mass down there?" Sen chimed in then abruptly changed topics.

-1111100!- Mair's eyes went wide.

"s**t. You think it's a yuppy or a nasty?" The machine replied a bit haughtily. Sensors could tell energy levels, but not energy types. You could tell how beefy a thing was, or at least how much energy it put off, but there was no real decisive way to tell whether it was celestial or demonic. Technology, at least the kind she had, couldn't really tell. It was obvious to tell that it was something she should avoid at all costs.

She headed straight for it. She traveled slowly, tapping along the tech lines as she went. There were twelve turret bots in the area, but all of them were previously engaged and only three could be coerced from their original directives easily. One shut itself off from her access and blasted her with a nasty virus. She couldn't be effected by it, but they traveled from her to other machines that she tried to access, rendering them useless. In a panic she sent it immediately to one of the turrets, in case one of her machines tried to send to her and got themselves unwittingly incapacitated. Her bike tended to give the most strings of running commentary, and she couldn't afford to be without it. She could run, but most likely couldn't outpace a high level.

So that left her with the two turrets bots. She sent them in a wide arc around the target in two different directions.

"If something happens to me, fill the originator full of holes," she set sen to keep remote contact with the bots, they were notoriously unintelligent. Their processing systems were very reactionary, but they might not recognize the origin of an attack that was done without the target moving. Sen would notice the energy spark and set them on the right track.

She came to a stop in the middle of a clearing in the rubble, the high level was extremely close and Mair called out to it.

"S'cuse me!" she hollared. "I'd like it if you came out and talked to me please." she sent two blasts of fire from the turrets in it's direction. It was an obvious warning shot, not meant to hit but to warn that she had protection. Yeah, maybe if it killed her, she would kill it back, but she would still be dead. She swung the turrets into different positions, keeping them out of sights. The machines were trigger happy little beasts and now they knew their target and were eager to fire again. She had expected this, but didn't realize how difficult it would be to keep them from firing without her say so. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she devoted her attention to keeping her new brazen allies from killing the thing before she even spoke to it.

Yikes, she thought to herself, but remained standing confidently over her bike.

Apparently, running for cover toward a broken down building that somehow had ridiculously loud music blasting in the same direction was not a good idea. Why? Sangre was being shot at. Even with the ridiculously loud noise, the noise of machinery firing was just as distinct and loud. One of the shots almost hit him, but Sangre moved just in time. From that, he wasn't even sure if it was aimed at him or some sort of warning shot. Even if he was a doctor, it didn't mean that he had lost his touch for athletics. As a doctor during surgery, Sangre had to have fast reflexes just in case crap happened.

Well, well, someone or something sounds well armed or at least more armed than me. If anything, the presence of machinery meant that the other person or persons were human. He contemplated running, but if he was going to be gunned down, he might as well see who was there. And besides, he thought he heard some kind of voice before the firing.

"Hey, stop firing already!" he hollered, not sure if whoever it was would hear him over the music. He was edging toward the clearing in the rubble slowly, still armed with his gun just in case. Realistically, the machinery would outclass his gun. And then, he might actually have to use his ability to defend himself. Hopefully, whoever it was was not hostile....
