christhevet Thanks ya all. It was comforting knowing that others care about issues like that. The reason I posted this was because that was a happy ending to my first experience like that. My second time it wasn't a happy ending. It was only because the kittens did not have a decent home and they came back to the Vet Clinic with a deadly disease. People need to be educated on how to care for newborn pets, whether through courses or books, they just need to know what they are getting themselves into. Oh and don't hesitate to help homeless pets, you won't regret it, I sure didn't. People who dont know how to care for newborn pet, shouldnt even have a pregnant animal in the first place.
I breed dogs, and i am very opiononated in this feild. There are so many of what we call, "back yard breeders" or "opps breeders" who dont spay and neuter their animals, because they want to see " they joy of life" Spay and neuter people!!

I agree. After volunteering for Pet Over Population Prevention I becomes frighteningly clear that animals are just being abandoned after the owners breed them and realize that they can't provide for them or take care of their illnesses. But it is really nice to see more people like you guys out there that know how to treat animals and especially how to raise them.

Back in Highschool I worked at a bottle redemption center. One day I was working I hear a soft "Meow" I went around the corner to find a VERY young kitten trying to squeeze between to boxs. It was a stray that had fallen from the rafters of the building. I brought him home and nursed the poor little guy back to health. Lou, short for lucifer, turn out to be one hell of a trouble maker but was one of my favorite cats my family has ever owned. -MTTP ninja

Yay!! Good for you!!
I was watching the humming birds at my hummingbird feeder. One of them pecked the other mid flight and knocked it to the ground. I ran out to get it before my cat's who were all going crazy to get at it. I held it for a moment staring at its eyes. I felt it twitch, and it started to move a bit. I started for my forest, to let it go. As I was walking I could feel it struggle, so I opened my hands and it flew. That will probably be the only time I ever catch a hummer in my life time xp

Ailinea That's so awesome of you and good luck in your career. Glad you could be of some help to some helpless kittens. biggrin I really wish people would spay and neuter their pets. It would make the world a whole lot better. 3nodding 3nodding

christhevet I helped bring a litter of five kittens to life. The veterinarian I was working with did not have enough people at the time and needed me to help bring the kittens to life. It was so amazing doing that. It was like, breath dammit and right when The Vet was ready to give up on the last one I gently rubbed its back one last time and it coughed. I was so funny. Don't worry all five kittens are just fine. Unfotunately none of them are up for adoption. WOW! i have brought a rabbit kit back to life before but its still amazing to hear of other people helping animals !Bhuvii the killer bunii of doom~
