Skylar Jethro Ray
Jet had heard Lily coming, but he pretended to be caught by surprise as he stumbled forward. "I'm under attack!!" He reached around and held onto her legs so she wouldn't fall off before turning his head to face her with a crooked grin. He lifted one hand to tickle her side. "Really Lil, you shouldn't giggle if your sneaking up on someone." He pulled off his beanie, shaking out his blond hair, and placed it on Lily's head as he laughed and spun her in a circle. He knew she had been thinking about her ex on the bus and he was determined to cheer her up as he awaited Emmy and Ray.

Lily giggled as she shook her head in a playful way. She closed her eyes in a cute way and smiled, "Oh Jet! Who ever said that I was trying to sneak up on you? I just like to jump on you for fun!" She felt his warm beanie on her hair and opened her eyes once more. She felt him spin her around and she giggled in joy. She knew what he was doing and was happy that he was doing it. She needed a distraction from her ex. She laid a friendly kiss on his cheek like she always did and held him a little tighter.

Augustine Rene Andrade "Who's playing that music so loud?!"
The sounds of Mr. Bates, the head chaperon of the senior trip who wore a more than obvious wig, were blurred out, muted by a loud, distorted sound coming from the back of the large bus. It was rather comfortable inside, save the fact that the restroom was only cleaned once in a century, but other than that, Augustine couldn't have felt any better. He wasn't home, and that was the main point of this whole trip. Of course, with some encouragement from his close circle of friends -whom he was almost certain he would be sharing a room with- August figured he could do good with a vacation. Even if half of his sight-seeing plans were dangerous enough to get him caught by the police. Who cared about getting suspended these days?
A rather large set of headphones were attached to his ears, causing his onyx colored hair to lay flat against his skull. For this trip, he made sure to wear a tight shirt and rather loose pants. It was too stuffy in that god-forsaken bus to even notice if the dammned air conditioner worked. A trickle of sweat slid down Augustine's face, but he barely noticed it. Hell, he was still oblivious of the bus being parked and the trip's destination being reached. Of course, as all day dreams end, Augustine found himself slowly finding conciousness, an annoying amount of pressure being applied repeatedly to his arm. With drowsy, chocolate brown eyes, Augustine turned his head from the coolness of the back window; it was the only object that had given him relief. His gaze fell on a girl to his right, sitting in the seat next to him. He vaguely recognized the girl. What was her name? Amber? Karen? Whatever.
Comprehending that this girl next to him was the source of the annoying pressure in his arm -she was poking him rather harshly with her thin fingers- Augustine gave her a questioning look before removing his loud head phones from his ear. Slipknot.
"Andrade!"
Augustine's attention snapped to the front of the bus where Mr. Bates stood with an angry and irritated expression. Even in his sleep did Augustin manage to piss off the dean. Fantastic.
"What?" Augustine called from his seat, a little too softly to be heard over the long distance from the back of the bus. He had just woken up after all, can't a guy catch a break? He was more annoyed that the dean decided to call him by his last name. Then again, Augustine never really cared what people called him. Classmates and teachers called him August, his friends called him Ray, the authorities called him Andrade. All they really had to say was 'Hey, you with the face!' and he would gladly answer, but oh well. Formalities.
"Turn that accursed music off and come get your key! Jeez. I swear, kids and thier wierd rap music. Or the rock music. Whatever happened to some good ol' jazz." Mr. Bates had begun muttering to himself again, and Augustine automatically assumed that he was whispering cuss words and plans for world domination under his breath. Well, it was a funny thought at least.
Blinking his eyes to adjust to the dim light around him, Augustine looked out the window to see that the bus has stopped in front of some kind of, place. He couldn't tell just yet. All he knew for sure was that it was pretty cloudy outside and looked like rain was due for the day. Joy.
"Andrade!" Mr.Bates snapped Augustine back to attention and with a lazy stretch of his legs, the boy pushed a button on his ipod, pausing the music that was still blarring from the speakers that were always found around his neck. Running a hand through his hair, he watched as the strands fell back to cover his eyes as he stood up and excused himself out onto the aisle. Slowly and on purpose, Augustine took his time making his way to the front of the bus, Mr. Bates' expression more annoyed than a first-time father having his kid climb all over him during a football game.
"Hurry up!" That last order was enough to satisfy Augustine for now. He just loved to annoy Mr. Bates in the most simplest ways. Finally reaching the front, he grabbed the key from the man before him and gave a small wink. "Don't come home too late, 'hun."
A couple of snickers came from a group of boys nearby as Augustine smirked and made his way off the bus, the rubber from underneath his converse collecting friction as he made he stepped down before finally touching the ground. He took a few steps away from the bus, so that he could survey the area a little more clearly. Almost by habit, Augustine let his eyes fall on his blonde haired friend Jet, who was already accompanied by the rather cute and friendly Lily. And as habits go, Augustine's feet found themselves making thier way to the pair, his arms stretching up and out before he gave a loud an exaggerated yawn. "Mornin'"

Emily McTate You can be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare Either way I, don't wanna wake up from you
Emily McTate had been reading from the same thick novel for the majority of the ride. She had packed quite a few as a matter of fact. She expected the drive to be longer. But nevertheless, she was still relieved when Mr.Bates cut to the point that he was going to be giving out the keys.
She snapped the book closed as Ray stepped off the bus. From the red color in Mr.Bates' face she gathered he had made quite an interesting comment. She stood to go ahead and get her smaller arm slung bag from the storage cabinet above her seat. However, as soon as she stepped into aisle and reached upward she was knocked nearly into her sitting partners lap as an over excited boy stampeded toward Mr. Bates with his grubby hand outstretched for his key.
The girl she had been sitting with helped steady Emmy by grabbing her elbow. Emmy smiled at her. If it wasn't for this new acquaintance, she probably would have looked like a complete fool sprawled out over both of their seats. "Oh, Emily!" Mr.Tate called to her. "I have your key, here." He held out her key, and turned his head to one of the boys sitting near the front, who had just just whispered something, Emily was sure, he hadn't planned for the man to hear.
Mr.Bates was kind of a p***k, but he always was polite to Emily. He knew it was because he thought she was one the kids willing to suck up to him. Not likely. Emily didn't bother with most people enough to suck up or piss off. The only people that really interested her was only a few select friends. She made her way to the front of the bus quickly and grabbed her key without giving Mr.Bates a second look. as she exited the bus she saw those few select friends. All three. She walked over and stood by Ray as the other two playfully flirted. She allowed herself to smile at them.
She was glad she had chosen to wear her gray dress which cut off at the knee, allowing her long legs to bask in the available sunlight. It was casual and lovely for warm weather. She ran a hand through her dark wavy hair, trying to help it regain any volume it had lost as she had laid her head back against the bus seat.
She looked around with a fake expression of disdain. "I miss the bus already." She let her smile grow to show she was only playing with them. "I have a key to room 13. Please tell me I'm not in there with a stranger." She looked at them with an expression that was half hope, half desperation.
My life was complacent and placid and now Even if it's love or horror at least I feel something.

Lily Anne Carter
Lily let go of Jet, fearing that she was probably choking him because she had her arms wrapped around his chest a little tightly. She didn't have the strength or will to do any such thing, she just worried a little too much. She was wearing a cute green dress that was rather short, but she wore black legging under it so she wasn't showing off anything bad. She intended to forget about her ex boyfriend on this vacation.
Lily jumped a little when she heard a rather loud good morning. She knew that voice all too well... She turned around and smiled brightly, looking straight at Augustine. She walked over to him and hugged him around the waist, pacing her head against his chest as she always did. "Mornin' August!" She giggled and released him, not wanting to make their friendly hug awkward.
Lily then heard a girl speak and recognized her voice as well. She was wondering if they were in the same room. She turned to face Emily and nodded, "Yeah, we're in the same room." She was so excited, maybe they were all roomed together! That would help her forget the hurt and the pain.

Augustine Rene Andrade August, oblivious to it being mid-afternoon, accepted Lily's hug out of habit. He was used to her being so touchy-feely. It was her thing. So long as she didn't cross any lines, they were fine. But yet, he did not want to be to insensitive to her needs either. After Lily had broken up with her boyfriend, things had gotten a little awkward between them, and August didn't want to end up taking advantage of Lily when she was in such a vulnerable position. Therefore, he had to lay off his naturally romantic charm when he was around her. Besides, what would thier kids look like?!
Glad that the sun was hiding behind a wide array of clouds, August ran a hand though his hair again, the strands falling lazily into place, highlighting his pale skin and dark brown eyes. There was a joke that went around, sometime during the fourth grade, that August was actually the descendant of a long family of vampires. It was a ploy to get the other kids to not interact with him, to lower his self-esteem. However, August was a gentleman, and he never took anything in a negative light. Instead of loosing his self-esteem, August turned the joke around and went along with it. Yes, he was the vampire king and if you didn't give him your lunch money, he would bite and eat you! Blah!
Well, it was funny in the fourth grade, anyway.
But even with trips to the beaches and playing actively outside on his middle and high school sports teams, August never seemed to get a tan. So, instead of trying to change himself, he opted for enhancing his features, wearing light eyeliner to bring more attention to his eyes than his pale skin. And sure enough, though he was a rather skinny boy, it didn't mean he wasn't strong. A strong boy who liked to wear pink boxers.
At the release of Lily's hug, August heard a voice behind him, a soft tone of ringing bells in his ears. He already knew who it was, and her voice was enough to snap him out of his sleepy daze and to full attention. Emily. Sweet, sweet Emily. A childhood friend, Emily always seemed to pop-up at the right time, and no time could have been better than having to stand there and watch Lily attempt to place Jet in a headlock. At least, that what it looked like anyway.
Hearing the question, August looked at his own key and frowned, looking to Emily who stood there in her simple dress. The simplicity just made her own natural beauty stand out even more.
"Um, no, I think that's a negative." He pulled the key up higher to that it was visible to the other three. "Mines says E1. Why do I have a letter on my key and you guys have numbers?" Coming to a rather sudden conclusion, August clenched his fists and muttered under his breath. "I knew Bates would find a way to screw me over. Figures."
Little did he know, he was holding his key upside down.

Skylar Jethro Ray
A sudden breeze cause Jet's long hair to blow into his eyes, and he let out a laugh as he shook his head to clear his sight. He still recalled a few years ago when they were Sophomores at Lily's birthday party. They had decided to 'push' - in other words cram - a glob of frosting on Lily's face. Jet was assigned the position on holding her down. and when he had attacked her onto the soft grass she had complained that he was bony. But she frequently jumped on him, and always had. In fact that was how they had met.
A soft kiss suddenly grazed his cheek and it snapped him from his thoughts. Jet and Lily had been friends for ages and he had always assumed the protective brother role over her, wanting her to be happy and safe at all times. He realized her grip tightened and he made a slight choking noise. It wasn't that she was choking him, she wasn't strong enough to, it was that her arms were a little high so her wrist bones crammed into his throat.
He removed a hand form his attackers legs to rub his eyes with an inaudible sigh. His eyes were sore and red from the trip, which gave him the appearance of having blood-shot eyes. That didn't help him at all, since he was already tired and rather unresponsive. And since his beanie was off his bright hair was a mess at the top and kept being blown in his face. HE huffed to remove a few strands. It worked! Annnd then they came back. Oh well. Some things never change. Speaking of which, a loud yawn to his right suddenly startled him, causing him to almost drop his passenger.
"Good afternoon." Jet let a smirk fall on his features at the sight of Ray. The kid always slept. Though that was probably a good thing. After all, sleeping is beauty rest, and with how handsome a kid Ray was Jet was starting to believe he should sleep more. Not that he could help it -- He was an Insomniac. Not a diagnosed one, his only symptom was lack of sleep. He just mentally referred to himself as one due to his nocturnal hours. His eyes wandered past his pale friend to the last person in their tight knit group. Emily. He adjusted his dark hoodie as he glanced over her outfit. She always wore basic outfits, which although most girls couldn't pull that off, she did. Jet couldn't help but let out a short chuckle at her playful disdain, used to her sarcasm by now.
A weight suddenly left him and he realized Lily had run off with him beanie to greet Ray. The poor kid had to be so confused from the array of names he was called. With a last shake of his hair his attention focused once more on Emily. He dug the key out of the front pocket of his bag and glanced quickly at the number. "13." Lily said the same, and his eyes finally dropped to Ray to await his response. E1? What the hell is up with the number? Jet stepped forward and examined the number closely. Almost immediately he began to laugh with the possibility of never stopping.

Lily Anne Carter
Lily noticed that Ray hadn't started any of his usual romantic charms yet... she was rather thankful for that, not wanting to get her emotions mixed up. But she did miss his old antics, maybe she'd see that side once again when she was better. She didn't want to make anything awkward and the last thing she wanted to do was get into a relationship with anyone.
Lily's brown hair shone in the remaining sunlight and her smile seemed to radiate. The boys were paying all of their attention to Emily at the moment, but she didn't mind that, she could adjust her outfit. It was sticking to her leggings, which wouldn't look so great. One swift motion and it was all fixed. She was a girl of fashion, she knew how to fix things quickly.
Lily then heard the strange room combination from Ray. E1? That was really odd... Hopefully he wasn't in a different area then them. She looked at the key, trying to figure out what Jet was laughing about. She tilted her head to the side and then busted out laughing. He had the key upside down... She flipped it over for him and pointed, nibbling on her lip.

Augustine Rene Andrade Those chocolate brown eyes peeked through thick strands of hair. It seemed that wind decided to accompany the cloud cover for the day. What a lovely start to thier senior vacation.
Puzzled, Augustine made a confused expression as he watched Jet approach him, obviously having a bad hair day as well, and began barking with laughter.
"What?" He couldn't actually belive that he would be in a different location than his friends. Bates would have hell to pay for if he did, so it seemed rather odd that Augustine would get stuck away from his 'pack'. Or 'coven'. Whatever fake vampires travel in.
His thoughts interrupted for a moment, Emily took a step forward, and Augustine fought against his breath, making sure it didn't escape him as Emily's scent washed into his lungs. What can he say? He was a sucker for pretty girls. She made a humorous face, one that matched Jet's laughter, which made Augustine's face warm up a little.
"Yeah, can't you see it? E1. Right there." He held the key out to her for closer inspection and then brought it right up to his own eye, as if her were examining a diamond.
Finally, Lily came closer to him, her eyes on the key in his hand while her own hands made use of themselves to adjust her dress. She was always so concious about her looks, even more so now that she had broken up with her boyfriend. Holding the key back out so she could look for herself, Augustine gave a small shocked expression as Lily took the key from his fingers and turned the key around. It only occured to him at that moment that he had been holding his key upside down. He subconciously fought against his embarassment from making it's way to his face.
"Oh." It was all he could muster out before he grabbed his wits. Maybe he shouldn't have taken that nap afterall. All it ever did was make him lazy. "Well... I knew that. Heh."
He looked around nervously for a quick moment, putting his free hand behind his head sheepishly, the strands falling back into place, before taking the key quickly and putting it in his pocket, determined to change the subject. It was his little quirks like this one that made girls attracted to him, his 'cuteness'. At least, that's what his mom always said. She also said skipping class was bad, but eh. Moms don't always know best.
Looking around the area again, he saw some of the students walking towards the cabins slowly, and decided this was his chance.
"So then. What are we standing around for? Let's get the ******** outta' here." And just as quickly as he spoke his words, Augustine had one foot in front of the other and was making his way along the cabins, looking eagerly for the one numbered '13'. What luck.

Constricting Comfort Emily McTate You can be a sweet dream or a beautiful nightmare Either way I, don't wanna wake up from you
Emily shifted her bag to her other arm as she watched Ray struggle to mask his embarrassment. Of course it wasn't that big of a deal but it was definitely comedic.
She watched as he pocketed his key and began to walk quickly toward the cabins. She looked around and noticed the other students were hesitantly leading themselves as well.
Things seemed to go slightly dimmer, as if the sun had faded for a moment. She looked up in time to see the cloud finish passing in front of the sun. I wonder if it'll rain. She doubted it. She never really heard of it raining in Las Vegas. It must be rare. The clouds would just pass.
She brought her head back down and saw that Ray had managed to get pretty far away. She frowned before walking after him. She had to be sure to be one of the first in the room. She had been holding her bladder's contents the last few hours and didn't want to await comfort any longer than was absolutely necessary at this point. She cast a look over her shoulder at Lily and Jet. I wonder if they'll finally have a great love affair. She let the thought pass from her mind as she turned back in front of her to trail Ray. She couldn't remember if any activities were planned for today. It it wasn't interesting she would probably just shower, change into her pajamas early, and read until everyone got back.
My life was complacent and placid and now Even if it's love or horror at least I feel something.

Lily noticed how hard Ray was working to try and conceal his embarrassment. He was trying way too hard, they were just his friends after all. She watched him walk off and Emily was soon to follow him. She sighed slightly, wondering if Ray and Emily were ever going to get together. They would make such a cute couple and she had a feeling that Ray really liked Emily.
Lily then noticed that she and Jet had been left behind... almost completely alone. It was odd, just being the two of them in this spot together without Emily or Ray. She smiled at Jet, trying to not bite her lip nervously. She always thought that he was pretty cute, but it would never work. He was her best friend and like the brother that was never taken from her. She was also secretly to scared to put their friendship in jeopardy.
Lily shrugged all of these thought away and shook her bangs out of her eyes, they were getting rather annoying. She went over and grabbed her things quickly. The bags weighed quite heavily on her shoulder, but she tried her best not to show it. She knew that Jet would make fun of her... she now understood why Ray hid his embarrassment... She bit her lip at the thought of this.
Lily released what she was doing and stopped automatically. She wouldn't allow herself to act like this in front of Jet. She smiled in her cute way and walked up to him. She stood right next to him and waited for him to get his stuff ready so they could walk together. She would never leave him behind, no matter what. Besides, she wasn't in any hurry.

Skylar Jethro Ray
Jet figured his smile wouldn't Fade, not after Ray's amusing performance. He wouldn't let him live it down for awhile. The wind blew again, determined, as if it knew the only time it could attack was when he was beanie-less. Looking up at the sky, dark clouds overcame the sun and were moving rather fast. But he knew enough about clouds to know that it wouldn't storm for awhile, they weren't at that stage yet. Although, he hoped it wouldn't rain at all. As much fun as rainy weather was, the chaperones might force them inside. He had plans- nothing was stopping that.
When eh finally surfaced form his inner monologue, Emily and Ray had already wandered off. Lily stood waiting for him, as she always had, a silly smile on her face and his beanie lopsided in her wheat hair. She seemed to struggle under the bags and without even thinking about it Jet lifted one of them to his shoulder before grabbing his own bag. "See, men are smart, we don't pack a lot." His smile was teasing as he began to walk after the rest. "I mean sure, we're not as good looking, but our backs aren't breaking at the end of the day." He laughed to himself at that thought- Jet and Ray being more attractive than Lily and Emily. Sure, Jet was confident and playful and Ray was charming and mysterious, not to mention they were both handsome. But compared to the girls? Lily was hot, though after the 'incident' with her ex she became unapproachable. Emily too; attractive and alluring but carried herself with a 'don't touch me' feel. Of course, Jet did touch her. He was a flirt - sue him.
When they weren't far behind the others Jet spoke up so they'd hear. "Who agrees to getting some fun here? Let's hit up a club."

Augustine Rene Andrade Hearing footsteps close in behind him, Augustine slowed down his pace so that his new follower could catch up.
Yes, he knew it was Emily. Who else would it be? Ever since he'd known her, since that particular 'vampire' incident -which annoyingly followed him all the way through highschool- Emily was known to follow Augustine. It was like she was his shadow. At first, it seemed akward and uncomfortable. Maybe because they weren't friends when al of a sudden, a shy and timid girl began following him around.
For a while, he thought she was trying to give him the coodies.
But as time progressed, Augustine got used to Emily, and she grew on him. Now, as young adolescents, it was hard for Augustine to imagine going anywhere without Emily. They were like peices to a puzzle and they contrasted eachother perfectly. She was the light to his dark, and there could be no other balance. Perfect friends.
He was about to ask her something, irrelevant to everything currently going on, before he heard a familuar voice behind them, catching up quickly. Jet.
As a response, Augustin slowed his pace even more. How fast had he been walking to begin with? Turning his head to see Jet, Augustine made a mock expression to portray angst. "Well jeez. I'm not really sure." He made to shrug his shoulders and pulled his hands out of his pockets, flicking his head in a way that would remove strands of his hair from hidding his eyes. "I mean, we could go..." In mid-sentance, he made for his arm to drape around Emily's shoulder casually. It was nothing out of the ordinary. "... But then what would we do with our lady friends here?"
