iReimu Hakurei Also, how do I use the patch? o.o;; It's all in jibberish text and question marks... you probably don't have a japanese text base within your computer, so it will look like that. Not to mention, two of my friends tried patching it and it's garbed on one computer and won't display any text on the other.

I'm pretty sure there's only one option though, so it should still work fine if you just click that.

I used the update patch and the translation patch on my game, and when I tried to play it, it said that it needed a dxdx9_40.dll file.

Hanzo Komeiji But wasn't the whole reason for him creating Touhou to showcase his music? If that's the case, then it becoming a smash hit in the states would just make his music famous! I'd hate it if it was a hit in the US, because then you'd have annoying fans in the same manner of Bleach, or Naruto, or Death Note... >_>;;; Yeah, I'd rather Touhou stay small and ZUN does too.

Ah, but just as there are bad fans, there are also good fans.
Light and Dark, Yin and Yang, Good and Evil.
You can't have one without the other, it's a fact of life.

Cheeseums Except when something becomes more widely known, the proportion of the bad fans exceedingly surpass the good ones. True, but things like that happen. Besides, if Touhou becomes a big hit in america(moreso than now.) then america might just get to be a better nation, because then folks will learn that you can't catch a tiger cub without going into the tiger's den. In other words, "Nothing ventured, Nothing gained."

That is, if they're not too busy with their generic FPS games.

Won't make Americans any less myopic. xD If time and popularity allows, be prepared to see more elitist Touhou fans and bandwagon people who you know the only knowledge they have of Touhou is through Google Images. Hey, don't hate on generic FPS games, I play them. x'D

It's the thought that counts though, right?
Meh, I used to be hooked on FPS games, now i don't play them at all, i've found games more suited to my abilities.
