RainyAndrew Samarei So.. Whoa. I think i just got confused. Now I feel stupid. With pagan traditions and such, the season are celebrated on different days then with tradition days on the calendar? So Summer is on... Beltaine, Fall on Lughnassadh, Winter on Samhain, and Spring on Imbolc? It's like a few months before... That explains... O_o ::shiver:: The confusion is overwhelming... .... eek you just completly confused me...and i get the sabbats...whoa... I think I knwo what you are asking but I am not quit sure if I am right about it. On those days they are not celebrating the seasons like you said above, they are aspects of the seasons, as the wheel turns, refering to the wheel of the year, you should notice the changes and recongize them, the Sabbats are to see certain things that happen in those times of the year to celebrate the greater misteries which they encorperate. Yule is the first day of winter, er Ostara is the first day of spring, mid summer is the first day of summer, and Mabon is the first day of fall. Is that what you were talking about?

For the holidays that are not always celebrated on the same day, how do we know when to celebrate them? I'm sure it has to do with the first day of that season I'm just not sure. Oh, another question that's been bothering me for a long time. On the other side of the world it's summer when it's winter here, but the month is the same. So, if it's December here it's December there. Do the holidays switch there so we're celebrating summer and they are celebrating winter or do they just rejoice in Beltane for their winter? eek

I have no clue what they do on the other side of the earth, I would think that the holidays for them are reversed from ours or else it would not make sense.

Okay, now I know when to celebrate, plus I'll probably just celebrate for a week anyway lol. I thought they would probably changed the dates I just wasn't sure, it bothered me because I didn't know lol. I'll just stick with that. Thanks Ivy.
