Devils_Hunter8000 vegito61283 Devils_Hunter8000 Duke_619 Hunter I agree with you about the outcome of the game you predict but no tth escore. The saints have no D so the pats would score more. I fdrew brees had more weapons I would tak ethe saints. my prediction is Patriots or Steelers vs Eagles or Buccaneers NFC comes out with the win. i like ur picks but in any of those cases the AFC would win. New England has great d-fence and great weapons on awe-fence so that would mean that they can prevent scoring and score at the same time. The Eagles have tremendous d-fence but their awe-fence chokes under the spotlight. The Steelers also have tremendous d-fence and an average awe-fence that can make plays. Last the Bucs have a good d-fence and a decent awe-fence but i dont think they would be ready for the spotlight beacause they are in more of a rebuilding stage right now. AFC takes all. I can tell that you are a pats fan. I mean how else can you talk great about your team yet not point out any of the minus's on that team. Pats do have a good offence, but nothing over-spectacular. Their defense is also above average, yet are very old in football lifespan and on top of that, the whole team is that old as well. Nothing in terms of youth that much. As for the other teams in your breakdown, the bucs wont make it. Plain and simple. The steelers have kept themselves young and have not lost a step. It should be and would most likely be the Eagles or Giants vs. Steelers/Titans/Baltimore how can u say that the Pats' aw-fence if nothing over-spectacular have u not seen Brady's 50 TDs or Moss' 23 TDs? Brady=overrated but since he got injured I'm not sure how he will react when getting chased. Moss=not that good WR he's inconsistant with the Raiders and the Vikings Your offense is average by getting rid of players that the coach doesn't seem to like.

Is he a weapon worth watching? Also, is Moss on the Raiders or Vikings no he's a Patriot okay so don't bring up the past talk about the present and future

Here is my current prediction.
NOTE: I say current because I will most likely change my picks several times before the beginning of the regular season. My official pick of the year will be announced the first sunday of the regular season, but for now, here is how I'm leaning.
AFC: Pittsburgh Steelers- With a majority of their starting lineup from their Superbowl team last year returning, and a very light schedule next year in which over half of the teams they are playing are going up against finished under .500, the Steelers are on the fast track to another superbowl apperance.
NFC: Chicago Bears- Their defense is getting older, but it is still one of the elite defensive units in the league. Their offense should be better off this year, Forte is a good running back, and with a QB in Jay Cutler most likely to make fewer mistakes than his predecessors in Chicago, I see the bears at least winning their division, and a solid contender for the NFC Championship.
STEELERS vs. BEARS- Though the Bears will be a more solid unit on offense, their team will still be outmatched by a Steelers defense that thrives on turnovers and big plays. A low scoring but hard hitting Superbowl.
Steelers- 17 Bears- 10

Dude, after seeing what we obtained this past offseason, I'm gonna go with the Panthers winning it for revenge from that Superbowl. But, this is what I think if it will happen. Patriots will lead the whole game, the final 3 minutes of the Superbowl Panthers are down by 7, Delhomme is put under pressure, he makes one of his signature under pressure Hail Mary's, Steve Smith catches it in Double Covereage at the 10 yard line. 1:47 left, Panthers run the ball for 7 yards. 1:00 left, Delhomme fakes a HB Swing to the left, Patriots Line shifts when they think DeAngelo has it, the endzone is empty to the right where Steve Smith is standing, :45 seconds left, passes a screen to Smith, Smith catches it like Santonio with :30 seconds left. Panthers do a kickoff, Pats run it to the 34 yrd line. Brady attempts a Hail mary to Moss, Chris Gamble does an amazing twist and turn over the shoulder interception with :10 seconds left. Delhomme knees it and Panthers win 31-24 in OT. Smith becomes MVP of the game and Bawitdaba by Kid Rock plays while the Celebration is going on. Then Steve Smith trys to do a Rap, lol.

RSNMateo I would say that the Cowboys would represent the NFC, but we know that's all wrong since they always choke in the first round of the playoffs every year - except last year when they didn't even make it to the postseason. Still can't forget that Baltimore game. stare The Baltimore Game? LOL I would think you would want to forget that Eagles game at the end of last season more than that one. LOL

Ok, lets look at the breakdown here for you. Brady- Good QB. Nothing spectacular. Good comp% and QB rating. Has stayed healthy. Has had the benefit of the coach who will cheat to give him the openings he needed. Had the benefit of playing in a basement division in terms of competion. Moss- Wasted talent. Was overlooked throughout the first 10 games of the season and not properly covered. Last ten games, his numbers slipped immensly. Will not readily go over the middle and take the hit. Will not play all out when not getting the ball. Does not take double teams that well. Had the benefit of playing in a basement division in terms of competition. Weak division, cheating coaches and good players= those numbers. Look at Philly back in '04. Until TO went down, him and Mcnabb were due to hook up for about 26 TD's and McNabb was on pace to get about 47-48TD's that year. That is all with LESS overall talent than Brady has had around him and without the CHEATING COACHES. Now you said to not look at the past? Well then dont bring up the past. I can easily show you the errors you ar putting up.

I gaurentee 2 of those 4 are in the super bowl this season.

LOL It's a case of pick your poison when we talk about the last 3 of 4 games they lost last season. Despite having turned the ball over 4 times to Pittsburgh they were winning the damn game 13-3. Then Romo throws the damn INT that led to the go-ahead TD. 2 consecutive 80 yard runs to blow the game against Baltimore. Trust me when I tell you vegito, I'd rather forget the Ravens and Steelers game more than the Eagles game. Those two games, Dallas had opportunities to close them out, thus pushing them to the playoffs, and who knows what else. I would have excused 44-6 if Dallas beat Baltimore and/or Pittsburgh because the 5 seed would have been a lock by the time Week 17 came around. Nooooo, I gotta hear some f*****t Packers fan/closet Eagles fan remind me of what happened in week 17. Dallas has always dragged-a** EVERY year in week 17, whether its a deciding factor for the playoffs or not. That s**t has to change. Check the history of Week 17 games in the past 5 years and you will see I'm not lying. Its like when they lost the Baltimore game, they went to Philly and said '******** it, lets give ESPN, Skip Bayless, and the rest of cowboys-hater nation what they want and play like a high school football team against Philly.

OMFG!! Man, as correct as your statement is, it actually made me almost collapse laughing. I do know what you mean in terms of Week 17 games, but in their defense, they barely won the game in I think it was week 2 and that was when they were at their healthiest against a Philly team that was missing like about 6 of their projected starters AND were playing a bunch of rookies. But even still, Baltimore and the Steelers games were close games, but that Philly one I actually truly did find a perverse sorrow for the Cowboys. But, I tell you, I am still Friggn' Laughing here. Good job on that, not many people can do that.

Chicago Bears - 21 San Diego Chargers - 19 LOL. well good luck with your picks. My only question is for the Bears. Why pick a team that had and most likely will still have one of the leagues worst Offenses and an above avg. defense? SD does make some sense. As long as they are not injured again.
