Lately ive been really missing my girlfriend. She and her family are currently touring around Europe. The only time I can contact her is when she can find a Mcdonalds with intenet connection there. I wrote this haiku poem while i was thinking about her. A haiku is a Japanese poem composed of three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables.
Her hair is lovely
Gleaming in the bright sunlight
I miss kissing her
crying

Jinsei~Thanks so much. That song came out of nowhere I swear...I've never had a boyfriend before...
Jp~Did you also know that their is two other types of poems similar to that. Here they are with a explanation:
Lanturne-a japanese form of poetry in which the shape at the end turns out to be a japanese lanturn. Their are five lines, with sllyables of 1,2,3,4,1.
Senryu-the same pattern as Haiku, but the difference is that it's only used to express human nature and emotions.
Tanka-a japanese poem with five lines, and a syllable pattern of 5,7,5,7,7.
Dodoistu-a japanese poem with 26 syllables that usually focus on love, humor, or the unexpected. It contains 4 lines with syllables of 7,7,7,5.

Jinsei instead of deflaiting it, you mind if I inflate that? That's really good. I throughly enjoyed it. I honestly saw nothing bad to actually say about that. ^_^ As soon as I find my notebook or go upstairs and get it. I'll post Music Box for you guys that I wrote last night. biggrin But outstanding poem Jinsei. I loved it. So unique.

Music Box
There's some music playing
a sorrowful tune
a man staring at it
something he couldn't forget
not the past
not love
and so it continues
this endless rhyme
endless music.
The man's eyes are glazed
he's burried inside
trapped and
unaware that world has changed
unaware that his body withers
unaware of his last breath.
There's some music playing
a sorrowful tune
plicks the last cord
and it ends
with the withers life
in tow.

I wrote a violent poem today. It's sucky, unoriginal, and appears like a third grader wrote it. I hardly even get what I'm trying to say. I won't post it. xd

i hate writing poems...they made us do them in school crying i hated it stressed i hate MOMS it is a new middle school but it is soo cheap and seams old....good thing i will never have to come back...

ivan5555599999 i hate writing poems...they made us do them in school crying i hated it stressed i hate MOMS it is a new middle school but it is soo cheap and seams old....good thing i will never have to come back... To me Poetry is just like writing songs, and short stories in general. It's the only thing I can really say I enjoy doing, besides me singing at church. I need somewhere to vent...lol.
