Beware the Jabberwock Lorysa I love how now that I've been around you guys, I've learned that they aren't always right just because they're strict, angry liberal femenazi activists. I love it. It makes me hungry. =) *I don't think this was against the guild rules, or if it's considered a personal attack, but if it is, you can PM me and I'll edit it. Liberals need love too. cry Oh--sorry! Liberals can be Pro-Life? You're Liberal? (Gives you a sorry-hug)

Lorysa [ Oh--sorry! Liberals can be Pro-Life? You're Liberal? (Gives you a sorry-hug) xd I'm extremely liberal to the point where I'm for legalising drugs and prostitution and I'm extremely pro-life. (Do whatever you want, so long as you don't hurt anyone else. <<< Liberal motto. Or at least it's supposed to be.)

I'm for whatever anyone wants to do with their own body, as long as they don't hurt anyone else, and as long as they aren't drunk to the point where they don't know what they doing, like, for example, if I was aware that if they were sober or not high, they wouldn't be taking life-threatening risks (once they're sober, we'll be sure what they really want to do, that's why, but until then, I think they should be escorted, in my opinion, to a safe room with a bed until they are thinking normally enough to decide whether or not they want to cut off their finger)
Edit: Does that make me a liberal? =P

Edit: Does that make me a liberal? =P Basically yes. I mean a liberal in general believes certain things (they're usually pro-choice, anti-death penalty, for gay marriage [even if they don't agree with homosexuality, an example is my mother], for legalizing drugs, believe in helping the poorer people instead of having a more "you get what you get" attitude, in Canada the liberals fight for medicare while the conservatives want private health care etc.) there are some exceptions to the rule of course, like me, I fit all those things except that I'm pro-life. Some liberals agreed with the war on Iraq, but fit everything else (or a majority at least) etc.
It's based on where you fit in the majority of your beliefs. If you're half in half you're called a "centrist" or something like that.

I'm not really for legalizing drugs (unless there would be a rule against driving high, of course), or for abortion. I support the death penalty, but only when they are absolutely sure that that person is the killer. You already know my stance on Gay Marriage, so, I suppose that makes me liberal... hmm... wow, I'm starting to have my own political views. This is new... it feels kind of good. whee

Yes, I'm liberal, but Pro-choice. So I'm one of Miranda's walking paradoxes.
You've said, once or twice Miranda, "I'd consider you Pro-life." to me.
Which I like, But I feel really bad for all parties in this damn issue.

It also shouldn't be allowed to be used as an excuse for certain behaviors, if they were fully aware that they were taking the drug they cannot use it as an excuse for any behavior.

It's still hard for me to understand, but at least I know now. Basically you're pretty much central on social issues (death penalty, abortion, gay marriage, drugs etc.) so you're neither liberal nor conservative. And you're left on monatary issues (so you're more for helping the person and not the coorperation) if you put that in "liberal" "conservative" terms you're more liberal in economics, this means you're more of a "socialist".

You know. I'm conservative, but I've always had a diffrent stance on some drugs then other conservatives. Marijuana...I don't see a probelm with it in controled doses. AN dif its government grown...well...you could actuly almost avoid having a bad harvest circulating. Still, the companies would probably want to add all sorts of s**t to it liek they did with tobacco.

I'm too lazy to do the political compass thing again, but I ended up being a centrist, and I think the coin was over Kerry. Which annoyed me, because I'm not like Kerry; I have my own opinions. razz
