Chimichanga, chimichanga, chimichanga, chimichanga?? Does that have the same effect as saying, "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice?"
*snaps out of it*
Anyway, as the game is concerned, I'm thinking of making it a prequel, set before the Rains of Destruction. That way we can see just what life was like in the "ancient times."
And I'll see what I can do to get you in on it, Mizu. wink

I know this much. It's basically like writing a story from whatever character's perspective you're using. (If this makes any sense)

Seph pretty much hit the nail on the head. Think of RPing like a big interactive novel. Different users add a little bit more to the story using either characters already established in the story or, more commonly, custom characters created by the user. The best part is, RP's can go on for a long time, as long as people keep posting. Anyway, hope I could help!
By the way, Seph, is your Trainer Card GIF hand made, or did you use a builder for the individual cards? They look so awesome.

Technically they're "hand made". In quotations because the sprites of me are spliced together, same as Ms. Jakkaru. X3

Chimichanga is basically a deep fried burrito. I wonder if I can get Mrs. Nesbitt to let me make them one day at her house...
And Heart, there's really not much to RPing, other than writing from your chosen character's perspective. HERE the rules don't require that your posts be extremely long, because I feel writing no more than what you need to write is fine. The only thing really to avoid here is godmodding (controlling other people's characters in your posts) and having unbalanced/perfect characters (marty sues/gary stus).
I can link you to a quiz/test that you can reference your character(s) on that will help you balance them, but it's not an extremely definitive test and some characters can wind up being called "unbalanced" as per the quiz's standards, which in their environment, really aren't as unbalanced as they seem. ...I'm confusing myself...
I don't really RP much myself, but I do write, and I do make a ton of characters (Last I counted I had nearing the 400 mark...). Really though, it's not hard to RP. ;3 Just write and have fun and be nice, and even if you bungle, most people are usually nice enough to help you on your way.
Lol word wall.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that yes the sprites in my card are splices. 8D And I'm willing to make splices for other people as well if you had any requests.

O___O Getting back on topic... xd
I found the guild by doing a search. For some reason SoA has been irking me for some time now. It does that. D: The story, the characters and the environment. It's like, "play me! play me!" and I'm like, "but your disk is scratched and you quit on me! *cries*" Haha....so yeah. I knew there had to be one out there AND it's recent! It's not like you guys died or anything (which is common in guilds). So I hope we keep this up!
Chimichangas are soooo good! If you go to Costco you should buy some. The ones there are really good! Especially with hot sauce! <3

Well, guess what. E3 2009 is just around the corner. HERE'S HIGH HOPES FOR A SKIES OF ARCADIA SEQUEL! It really seems like Sega is doing more RPGs as of late, too, what with Valkyria Chronicles and the upcoming DS RPG Sands of Destruction.

I'm skeptical when it comes to a SoA sequel. I mean, it has to be GOOD. I don't want something thrown together and trashing the game. Otherwise, I don't want a sequel. srsly. This better have all the old producers from Overworks back. for realz
