Regardless of the severity of his actual guilt, its really bad timing. Given all that's happened in the recent past & is still going on today, he's gonna be judged harshly.

Did they say the max he could get is still 15yrs?

The 15 years is just all the maximum counts put together, without lessened times.

I fell like Stallworth might do some jail time, but no more than a few years. He actually might have a pretty good chance at avoiding time behind bars because of the pedestrian not being in a crosswalk. But regardless, he should be punished for taking someone else's life.

So you're saying it's okay to use dogs to fight to the death, then kill them when they're "incapable" of winning a fight? So you think Vick is innocent? stare

Since when? A human's life should be worth more than a dog's life, but a life is still a life, and taking one either way is completely wrong.

A human is an animal. We must all remember that everytime we think of ourselves as more than that. A human life should be worth no more than that of the next animal. We are that conceited anymore.

I believe that a life is a life, and each life each extremely valuable. But at the same time, I also think that a human's life is a bit more valuable than any other animal's, because of what people are mentally capable of. Our feelings and chemical mindset are much more sensitive than other species'.

If OJ Simpson got away with a murder that he most likely committed, then I definitely think that Stallworth won't be doing maximum prison time.

they need to look at the facts here.

1. Yes he was intoxicated.
2. The person he hit was not in a cross walk.
3. There are reports that the person he hit was also intoxicated.
4. It was dark and very early in the morning so they have to look at the type of clothing the victim was wearing.
5. It was reported that Stallworth was driving, not over, the speed limit.

There are other things for sure, but from what I have gathered, most of it looks to be in favor of Stallworth to just get the DUI instead of the vehicular manslaughter charge.

Agreed, but he dose deserve a minor punishment though for being intoxicated while driving. Also setting a bad example.

yeah maybe a pricy bond or DUI charge, but he shouldn't be driving like that and he killed an old man.

The Browns drafted two wide receivers in the second round, and seem to be keeping Braylon Edwards right now. It looks like insurance, in case they lose Stallworth, or even choose to just release him.
