I'd like to see Vick back in the NFL. He was fun to watch, and I think that the Vikings could do well with him among some other teams. I just hope Goodell isn't looking to make a statement and uses someone who did his time as a target.

There's nothing that would hinder the growth more of Adrian Peterson than bringing in this guy. They can win with the QBs they have now, but still might be looking for that #1 guy.

During this recesesion as well, I couldn't see a lot of teams wanting to take the financial risk on Vick.
No matter who will take him, the backlash will be bad.

Dude-LAP Valas Hume Dude-LAP vegito61283 Dude-LAP Well there was the Panthers releasing Rae Carruth. When was that? And who was that? I am pretty much talking about cutting Big Name Players. But yeah, it goes across the board. It was in the late 1990s. The Panthers released Carruth, who was a big name player at the time, because he was a first rounder. Only played like two years. Anyways, it was sickening, because he murdered his ex-girlfriend in an executioner style. I remember. She has cerebral palsy, some pretty disgusting s**t. And he came from the high school I attended.. Didn't he have a kid with her or she was pregnant at the time?!Yeah, he murdered his girlfriend, who was eight months pregnant. They were able to save the child, but the child was born prematurely, and has some sort of disability. It's some really disturbing s**t.

No matter who will take him, the backlash will be bad. It will not matter. Goodell said that unless Vick can prove he is truly sorry and repentant not for the loss of money and his contract and situation, but for what he has done, then he will not be allowed back into the NFL. Personally, I would not want someone like that, even if he were McNabb, back and on my team I root for.

But as a coach, would you want him on your team? Its different wanting somebody thats pretty on your team as a coach then a fan.

Well I can name 5 coaches off the top of my head that would not want him. LOL Reid, Bellicheck, Harbaugh, Tomlin, Spagnola (sorry for any of the spelling). Maybe the only teams that would take him are Washington, Raiders and/or Detriot. They are the only teams that I think would take him. And out of those the only one most likely would be Oakland thanks to Davis. He is more of an ego-maniac than Snyder is.

Yes, what he did was absolutely terrible and inhumane, but Vick actually went to prison for an extended period of time, something that many other banned players did not do. Goodell might take that into consideration as penance and go lightly on him. Vick probably can still perform and help a team out, but it won't be too much of a financial risk. He is losing support and popularity, so a team would be able to sign him for cheap.

If so then maybe a team might pick him up cheaply, otherwise the Falcons may still screw him over by not releasing him and keeping him in a position that he may not be paid.
