Izotz's eyes shifted from one rock to another, from one tree to a third, from one bush to a fifth, searching for movement. He was hungry, so he had to find a rabbit or something else to eat, but first came movement. The male growled, his eyes spotting no movement at all. "Guuh~" he whispered with no real goal, only to let out a sound. But soon, the 'explorer's' eyes sparkled - there was movement not too far away, he could see it! And how many times in a year can you see movement?! Oh wait, it was just the wind. Too bad. Izotz's eyes stopped sparkling, he pouted. He would have to wander around for even more.
Izotz sniffed the air, gasping cheerfuly. "Izotz the Explorer smells movement!" he exclaimed, quickly charging forward, towards where the sounds of speaking were coming from. "Rawr~!" he shouted, jumping up, landing on something soft and fur-y. The fox tilted his head, glancing at the vixen for a second, and then lowering his head to look at the dark red figure he landed on.

Rime's head shook with a jerk when the blue fox burst out of the wood and pounced on the red fox. She blinked and squinted at him for a moment, before unintentionally saying "That doesn't seem like it'll help this poor fox's situation." She stepped toward the two, expression changing from curiosity to concern. "What were you thinking?" she scolded lightly, looking into the blue fox's eyes. She shook her head slightly, kneeling down to speak to the red fox. "Are you okay...?" she asked, more quietly than she normally would have. She was sure that the fox's answer would make as much sense as his earlier speech, but she was determined to try anyway.

Rina could easily see that this new red fox was troubled, although in a way she had never seen before. He seemed as though he was a completely different person, from each moment to the next, something Rina had difficulty comprehending. It was something as difficult to comprehend as that which he was muttering about.
Whom were they supposed to save? And from what? This fox spoke her language, but he was almost as incomprehensible as if he were speaking the tongue of the humans.
Rina was so preoccupied with analyzing the red fox, she barely noticed the movement in the bushes, until a new dog fox jumped out.
"I think it would be best if you were to get off of him," Rina told the blue one. The red one seemed rather unstable, and although he had not proved to be violent up to this point, she did not wish to take risks by provoking him, either.
"Whom should we be saving?" Rina asked, of the red dog. "And from what?" The odds of a direct answer seemed unlikely, but perhaps he would at least give them enough information that they could puzzle out a solution themselves.

Aki blinked in astonishment at the sudden, almost violent, change of tempter from the dark red male. She continued to listen to him, very confused. Glancing at her elder, Aki could see that she wasn't the only one who was unable to figure this guy out.
Her ears gave a twitch as she heard a noise in the bushes nearby but she ignored it, figuring it was nothing. That was until the source of the noise landed on the red unstable fox. Aki stared, stunned, for a moment before quickly relaxing her body and mind. As a carer of the Gypsy clan, she had the power to ease and soothe those around her and unable to predict the reaction of these new foxes, Aki was doing everything she could to ease and relax everyone.

Dancer looked over at the new blue fox that appeared to be rather scarey and hyper. She began to walk over but stopped as Rime had beaten her to the punch. Although less concerned about the red fox and more interested in the blue male, she wondered how his fur glowed so beautifully. She walked steadily closer, but chose not to interupt.
Katie was still almost oblivious to the rest of the commotion as she kept her gaze on Shori. But something broke her concentration, a sound like an earthquake inside a baloon echoeing louder, she could feel the vibrations of it. It troubled her somewhat as she looked around puzzled before giving her mate a look of question.
Shori noticed Katie's tummy was rumbling, loud and hollow. He commented "Wow you sure sound hungry. I guess it could be time for hunting, but we should move further toward the main group and see who else is hungry first right?" And with those words the two of them moved in and sat next to Rina. Sensing there were more pressing issues on Rina's mind he left the hunting idea to one side to investigate the unusually large group.
Katie looked up at Rina. "Er, sorry we stumbled back there, I wanted to take in the scenery. Say who are all these new people? Recruits?"

"Merely foxes we have encountered. Rime, the blue vixen, seems as though she may join the Lunarie Tribe. As for that red dog there, we do not know what troubles him, but we are working to solve it. I honesty cannot say I understand the intentions of the blue bog, pouncing suddenly one the red one in such a way," Rina spoke quietly to those who had just rejoined the group. She was not sure how her words would affect the red dog, and so she was cautious so as to not further upset him. Clearly he was troubled, and it would be wrong of her to further add to his affliction. She did dearly wish she knew what ailed him. And even more so, she wished she knew whom they ought to be saving, and from what. She hoped that the red dog-fox would answer the questions she had posed to him, but she did not think it likely. At the very least, not likely he would answer her questions in such a way as could be understood by her. Truly, the red dog-fox seemed to be chaos incarnate.

Diablo was about to open his mouth and say something else, but he heard something in the bushes. He whirled around a second too late and was tackled, but he managed to get away, letting out a ferocious snarl.
"Don't touch me," he spat out, baring his teeth and raising his hackles. Half a second later, though, his posture changed and he lowered his ears and tucked his tail between his back legs, saying over and over again, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I want to save them but he won't let me, I'm so sorry..."

Rime cocked her head, almost curiously, and looked at the red fox with concern. "You seem to have multiple souls inside yourself." she noted, unintentionally saying it aloud. She stepped toward him cautiously, but with a friendly smile. "Maybe we could figure out what this problem is, hmmm?" She sounded almost like a mother trying to comfort her kits.

Izotz tilted his head as Diablo moved away at the last second, only his paws touching the red male's back, but ever other part of Izotz's body hitting the ground. "Sorry~?" the male asked, quickly jumping up and walking closer to the strange fox. "Who do you want ta save from whom?" he asked curiously.

Katie scanned through each fox as Rina mentioned them. They sounded like a very interesting bunch, but gave Katie an nervous feeling to know they were somewhat crazed. She sat close to Rina with her tail curled round her. Then as Rime spoke she listened intimately and leaned her way in interest.
Dancer was about to speak up, merely to add to the conversation and feel a part of the crowd, but in awe of the other foxes she could not get even a mew.
Shori moved in toward the red and the blue foxes. "Now I don't want any trouble, mostly a man of peace thats me. But I see undeserving behaviour here..." He looked back at Rina for a check and then back to Izotz. "Do you know this red one?"

Rime noticed the white and purple vixen's interest, though she wasn't quite sure if she should redirect her attention. After a moment of silent reflection she decided that she wasn't likely to get anywhere with the red fox and maybe talking to someone else might set her mind more at ease. She turned and looked at the vixen directly, the concern in her eyes fading slightly and showing instead some curiosity. "Oh, hello." she said with a cheery smile. She wasn't quite sure if anything else COULD be said, and after speaking she quietly wished that the whole situation wouldn't become too awkward.

Rina shook her head no.
"He suddenly appeared, acting oddly. We are trying to figure out whom he intends to save, and from whom, or what, but even now, he has not come forth with anything we can use to solve this mystery. All I have heard him say is either apologetic, sorrowful that he cannot save whomever is in danger, or almost pleased, that those in danger can no longer be saved."
Rina paused, as she realized what she had said. "You do not mean, that you will be the one to attack these endangered ones?" Her tone was incredulous. Did one modifox plan to take on multiple others?
Was he stronger than she thought? Did he have a plan for his attack?
She drew back slightly, and gestured for her clan to retreat further. If he were to attack them, it would be best if he went for her. She did not have much by way of fighting experience, but she was larger than he was, and she had considerable strength from all of her traveling, so she would not be at much of a disadvantage against him, if at all.
All she would have to do, would be slow him down enough that those in the clan with actual fighting experience could get to him. They did have numbers on their side, after all.
She hoped that she was mistaken in her calculations, but she could not take that risk: as the Gypsy Queen, it was her duty to protect her clan, and it was better if she took the risk herself, rather than letting it fall upon those who followed her.

Something that could only be described as a hiss found it's way through Diablo's teeth, and his red eyes were suddenly bright, delighted. Evil.
"Maybe I do, maybe I don't, Elder." His voice was cold, distant. Cruel, almost. "Are you afraid of-" He shuddered, shaking his head back and forth, almost violently. "Please," He whispered, not looking up. He -they a voice in his mind corrected- were surrounded with no way out.
"Help me, before-" And that was all he could manage before another shudder rippled through his body and the glint in his eyes was back. "Before it's too late." He finished, smirking as he looked around the circle. "For all of you." He lay down gracelessly, flopping in an easy sort of way. Relaxed, though he kept his eyes on the group the entire time.
What could he say? He liked being the center of attention.
Except when that STUPID...Ugh. He fought off another shudder, shaking his head lightly.
"So. What brings you lovely do-gooders? I mean, you're part of a clan or something and-" He shuddered, unable to stop it this time. "Please! Stop me! I can't-he's too-" Diablo sighed as he got to his feet, cold and impersonal yet again. "I'm too strong." He finished simply, shaking himself off.
"If you'll excuse me. I have business to attend to."

"Help you how?" Rina asked, hoping that voice would return, to give them an answer. This modifox was clearly unstable, clearly in need of help. Could they perhaps cure him? Rina found such a thought doubtful. Better, then, to find whom the evil-voice would hurt, and warn them. It was little, and easier, but at least Rina knew that it was within their capabilities. The world was not such a perfect place as many would like, and so often one must be content with the best one could do, rather than the best one could hope for.
"I think perhaps you ought to stay here a little longer, Rina stated, placing herself in the path of the red modifox. She expected that he would be displeased with this, perhaps even attempt to attack her. She would be ready. She had fought off a mountain lion when younger, before she had become an elder, and survived with the scars on her tail to prove it--surely she could at least delay this modifox long enough, in order to obtain what she required from him.

Aki sat back and listened to her elder and the strange new fox discuss who was in danger. The blue and grey vixen had been right, it seemed there was more than one soul inside this red male. But was that possible? And if it was, what could they do to help?
Her mind was full of questions that she wanted to ask, but because Aki had no idea how to handle such a situation, she simply sat next to Rina and toke mental notes on the way her elder approached the matter.
