The man responded with a drunken swing of his meaty fist which, regretfully for him, clipped Shavas on the cheek before he spun himself around and ended up on the floor.
Her eyes grew wild with fury, in her rage she ignored her swords and instead promtly crushed the man's larynx with her booted foot. he writhed around on the floor a little while, clutching at his flattened throat. Shavas watched with some curiosity as a puddle of blood began to spread across the floor. She would never drink his blood, it would be beyond demeaning to feed off a pitiful creature such as this. Despite her minds cautionary tone, her throat began to burn with thirst, bringing tears of pain to the corners of her eyes.
With shaky self control she returned to her seat to stare squarly into the eyes of the witch. Trying very hard to avoid staring at the elegant curve of her exposed neck.
"I-I think I need some air.... Would you like to accompany me?" The question was unexpected, even for her, but it somehow made its way past her lips to hang in between the two of them awkwardly.

Tsuki watched the confrontation wearily. Though she didn't care for the life of the foolish drunkard, she knew that a vampire could become 'drunk' on blood and go into a sort of bloodlust. She was relieved when she saw her companion exert self control, though she didn't miss the woman eying her neck discreetly. "Sure. I think this will be best continued elsewhere." she agreed, standing from her stool and putting away the coin. Keeping her ears open for and eyes alert for any sudden movements from the vampire next to her (her request was very suspicious, in Tsuki's opinion) she started towards the door.

(LOL 'Cause I'm bluffin' with my muffin')
Their mway was blocked by a mob of drunken ruffians. just great she sighed to herself "It would be very beneficial towards yuor continuing health if you would get the hell out of our way!!!" Her face was becoming more strained. She could hear hearts beating wetly in her ear, it was very tempting, but the vampire coven tried to avoid taking blood directly from humans. They had it shipped to their cathedral from the blood bank daily. You never knew if you were going after fair game, or a daywalker. To her dismay, a couple of the dirty fools pulled out crossbows, and another one a sword. Unfortunatley Daybreakers had figured out a few decades ago that guns were futile against the nonhuman races. The swords and crossbows however would do their job just fine. Tsuki was in even more danger thatn Shavas, as a number of the men had also pulled out handguns, which would be just as lethal to her as the other weapons.

(Lets skip ahead)
They dealt with the humans with the efficiancy of long practice, although neither of them escaped completely unscathed. The humans had centuries worth of experience in disposing of the other guilds. (Should we do guilds/factions/clans?) Shavas had wrapped her shoulder in a makeshift bandage after being shot with a crossbow bolt, and Tsuki was limping from a bullet graze to her left leg. Nevertheless, they had both escaped in one piece more or less, not so for the daywalkers at the bar, The other guilds also had centuries of experience in the art of dismembering troublesome daywalkers. Despite their obvious distrust of each other, Tsuki and Shavas had developed an uneasy comaraderie, and they had even managed a pair of shaky smiles at each other after the fight was over.
The wind howled loudly down the streets of central city Rome, her cream colored hair ruffled as the wind blew, she tried to smooth it down but to no avail. A few of the streetlamps had sputtered out, leaving most of the left side of the street bathed in shadow. Baleful eyes peered out from the alleyways, the other races seemed especially eager for conflict today, she noted offhand. And after a moment of honest introspection, she realized that she too was eagerly thirsting for blood and violence. There was a tension in the air she hadn't noticed earlier in the night. She sniffed the air thoughtfully, and hissed, it smelt like dog, disgusting!
A low howl echoed up the street, not a challenge, but she rested both hands lightly on her swords, something was not right here.

Tsuki tensed, still humming with adrenaline from the previous fight. There were several presences lurking in the shadows around them. She probed the area and felt malicious intent...and the telltale hum of a werewolf's aura. "Get ready..." she muttered to Shavas, "the fight's not over yet." Pulling one of her many silver daggers, she prepared to fight to leave, hoping she wouldn't have to rely on her escape methods. She hated to flee from a fight.

Shavas drew bloodsucker and sinner and settled into a defensive stance. Normally she would make the first move, but werewolves tended to travel in packs, so it was always better to take defensive measures until you were sure all of them were in your line of sight.
Viscious growls reverberated from the alley on her left, sending uncontrollable shivers down her spine. Adrenaline was pumping through her limbs, charging her bod for the fight to come. The first wolf, presumably the pack leader, emerged from the clammy dark maw of the alleyway, growling deep within his throat. She had always thought the werewolfs attempts at intimidation were silly, it sounded like they had something gross jammed in her throat. Bloodsucker sliced through the air, smooth as glass, to position itself betwees it's mistress and the threat. The werewolf was a big blue black brute with furious tawny eyes. His long pointed fangs and claws were shiny and full of lethal intent.
Other beasts were beginning to appear, all of them very large, and all of them looking very pissed. On an impulse she faced the left three who slunk closer, hoping Tsuki would cover her right flank. The air was humming with tension, who would make the first move?

Tsuki took the unvoiced command and covered the right side. She fell deeper into her concentration and commanded the shadows to drag the wolves, to make them slower. She could command them to rip them apart, but it cost a good deal of energy and she didn't particularly feel like being unconscious for a week from exhaustion. With all of the wolves in the area substantially slower, she grinned cockily and said, "Come on puppies, let's do this!" When two of them leaped at her, she drove her dagger into the chest of one and quickly ripped it to the left and down, eviscerating him. His pained howls went ignored in the ensuing battle. She spun around suddenly and threw several silver darts into the eyes of a wolf that had tried to sneak up behind her. The right side of the road was well guarded. She hoped Shavas was holding up her side but couldn't spare the concentration to check with shadows and didn't dare to take a second to look.

She spared a admiring look for Tsuki, and made a mental not of her shadow powers. Temporary ally though she was, she was a witch and the vapires and witched would inevitably clash at a later date.
A dirty brown beast leapt for her throat, she smiled a dreadful little smile and cleanly cut his throat from ear to ear with bloodsucker while deflecting a slash from the leader's claws. His blood drained on the ground before her, staining the cobblestones red. After deflecting the slash, she rolled across the ground with inhuman speed, and smashed her fist through another wolf's ribcage, her bloody hand emerged on the otherside of the creature, it eyes glazed and it also slumped to the ground.
The leader was circling now, fangs bared, with speed and agility that was very uncomon for a wolf, he leapt for her bandaged shoulder. She deflected his fangs, but the impact made her scream and cluch her shoulder, dropping bloodsucker to the ground in the pool of blood that was rapid;y forming around her feet. it was not her blood per say, but it nourished her body nonetheless and with is rapid seepage, she was loosing strength by the minute.
His next growl was one of triumph as he lunged in for the kill, but at the last second, her leg scissored up to catch him in the sternum, knocking him back a few feet into a brick wall with a resounding crack.

Tsuki spun again and pulled another silver dagger. She swept it across one of the wolve's arms and the skin sizzled and cracked as if burned. Blood started pouring down its arm and it growled angrily at her. She watched it circle her, not moving but keeping her eyes and shadow awareness on him. Suddenly she heard Shavas cry out and decided it was time to end this fight. There were much fewer enemies now, so she could use one of her favorite techniques... Abruptly, the last two wolves (her last opponent and the one she could feel drawing nearer to Shavas) stopped moving. A look of horror appeared on both their faces as their own shadows started to consume them, and when they were totally covered in inky blackness the shadows contracted with a crunch. They melted back onto the ground, no sign of the bodies anywhere. Tsuki staggered for a moment, but smiled in satisfaction. "You alright?" she asked, walking over to Shavas slowly.

Shavas removed the bandage to examine the wounds, it was an angry black and blue, but it had stopped bleeding. The pain was fierce, but bearable. She nodded, "That was a pretty neat trick," she admitted ruefully.
She glanced at the dead wolves scattered about the street and smiled, the world wouldn't miss seven wolfs. Well she certaintly wouldn't anyways, good riddance.
The burning in her throat had increased in fervor. She had lost a lot of blood, and there was a lot of spilled blood all around her, teasing her senses. She had been a vampire for two years now, and had had time to develop a rather stingy pallatte, she wouldn't touch werefolf blood of course, no matter how much she thirsted, but Tsuki was another matter. Shavas hated drinking witches' blood too, but the more feral part of her nature was beginning to come loose, it it definatley didn't care about her personal prejiduces. blood is blood afterall it whispered visciously in her ear.
It was definatley time to return to the cathedral, and to the bloodbanks underneath. She had too much regretful gratitude towards Tsuki to take a bite out of her. But they were way on the south side of the city, the werefolf side, and both of them were smeared with fesh wolf blood. Surely the other packs had heard the yelps of pain and surprise, surely they had hear her scream. They were too far into werewolf territory to hope to escape in one piece.
The hairs on the back of her neck began to prickle unpleasantly as a distant howl reached her ears. "Tsuki, we have to get out of here!"

Tsuki nodded absently, already preparing to take action. The bodies the shadows told her were around had started to go for their direction. Probably more wolves, she thought. It really was time to go...so without much more thought; "Okay, don't freak out...but here we go!" she exclaimed, grabbing Shavas' arm roughly and dragging them both into the shadows.

Shavas' face blanched noticeable the instant Tsuki's hand wrapped around her arm. "Tsuki NO!" she pleaded, but it was too late, her whole body shook violently as Tsuki dragged her through the world of shadows, cloudy images whipping past her vision with mind numbing speed, all the while she was horrible conscious of Tsuki's hand against her skin.
They emerged in the inky shadows across the street from the Vampire's cathedral. And without hesitation, she yanked her arm out of Tsuki's grip. She was pale and shaking, her loss of color resulting from the combination of fear and blood loss. The entire front of her jacket was stained with shiny blue blood. She glared at her companion viciously, her hostility renewed by fear and exhaustion.
The door to the cathedral swung open on silent hinges, revealing three vampires standing in the doorway. Shavas glanced at them with what first seemed like relief, but it quickly turned to disgust. "This is unheard of!" She cried out angrily to her silent orders. The figure in the middle removed his hood to reveal long black hair, storm grey eyes, and an aquiline nose. He glared at Shavas sternly and motioned for her to follow him as he glided back down the hallway, his two attendants following at his heels.
Shavas turned to Tsuki with a rather sulky look plastered across her facials. "We're supposed to follow... That is, unless you'd be too uncomfortable with it!?!" she remarked hopefully, still absentmindedly scrubbing her arm with her sleeve, she just couldn't abide being touched.
The burning in her throat was worse than it had ever been, she needed blood, NOW, fortunately the only human foolish enough to wander around streets controlled by the vampire coven was Tsuki, and Shavas was still grundgingly thankful towards the girl for saving her life, even if it meant being dragged through...She shivered, I just won't think about it....EVER again.... she decided, before stomping towards the door. "Well? You coming or not?" she glanced towards the shadow bathed hedges across the street, "I suppose you may bring your friend too."

Elara was perched on the lamp post. She delicately groomed her wings, not drawing any suspicion. once her friend got to the cathedral steps she opened her caramel wings and swooped in as soon as the door was open. ((sry for tha short post, forgive me! D: ))

(Ok so how about to make this transition easier, Spoof and Fish, you guys already know each other and Elara was traveling with Tsuki and sort of hanging back as backup in case the whole meeting was a setup? Just an idea cause I hate entering rps in midway. )
-I'll add a little snippet to the end of my last post for now if you want to do this-

Tsuki glanced behind her as the Witch she had sensed made her appearance; "Oh, so it's you. I shoulda known you'd follow me..." ((reason, and their history is yours to decide, Fish)) She drew her attention back to Shavas, "Bah. We'll be fine; as you have already found, I have my ways of escape if things turn ugly." Tsuki looked at the shadows, where she could sense more vampires hiding; observing. "Shall we?"
