Austin Shipp KTS Austin Shipp vince never got the chance to go 13-3 so you cant count against him for that Not really Vince Young didn't have time to develop into a good QB with Collins there he would develop into a good QB also he did get inured and supposivly came back(but the Titans stuck with Collins probably for good reason too) how do you know vince hasent developed into a good QB, he played 3 quarters of a game. who knows this could have been his break-out season Because Vince Young struggled last season. And you can't go much better than 13-3 and first seed in the AFC. Collins will probably start next season for Tennessee.

Kerry Collins only has a few more years left in his tank, to be a QB. Why not use Collins for the short term, and let Vince Young learn and mature more? If this were a career choice, then yeah, use Vince Young, the Titans QB of the future. But since one guy isn't going to be in the NFL much longer, why not use the better quarterback? And right now, Kerry Collins is better than Vince Young.

Let me throw this out year how can you say Kerry Collins was a better QB? COllins threw aproxmiaetly 2,600 yeards 12 TD's 6 INT's 57% completion. He played in all the games. Vince Young last year threw for 2,500 9TD's 17INT's 62% completion, so yes COllins threw more TD's and less INT"s but that comes with experince

That's why Kerry Collins is a better QB than Vince Young at the moment. ...Anyways, in case you haven't heard, Kerry Collins will return to the Tennessee Titans next season, and Jeff Fisher wants him to remain the starting quarterback.
