Kimi and I wonder into the gardens and find Kaoru sitting near the fountain with Val.
"Hi guys, what's up?" I ask, as I sit beside Kaoru.
"Hi Val-san, hey Kao-chan," Kimi says in a slightly mello tone.

"Ha, Kimi's here to skip geometry, aren't you Kimi?" I ask with a sly grin.
"S-So? Why's it matter what class I'm skipping anyway? And aren't you missing gym?" Kimi asks defensively.
"Yeah, but I'm already the most athletic girl in class, so my teacher doesn't mind if I skip sometimes if I have too much work. You on the other hand need to seriously pay attention or you'll fail geometry again,"
"Hey! I hate that class! The teacher hates me and I hate her back, so she thinks it's okay to fail me!"
"Kimi, it's not her, it's you. You always doze off in that class and ignore your teacher, so you fail all the tests and things. You always come to me at the last minute for help on your homework, but that still doesn't help you because you just dump it on my lap and walk away," I say, slightly agitated.
"You're point? You're good at that kinda thing," Kimi replies.
"But I don't like it. I try to get A's in my classes, so my teachers see that and give me them if I try my best and do good on tests. You don't even try in that class,"
"You're so mean May. You never teach me how to do what you're doing when you do my homework,"
"That's because you always walk away after the first problem! I'm your cousin, so I at least do the work for you so you can look at it later!" I yell at her.
Kimi remains silent and looks at her feet, hiding her eyes behind her bangs.

I'm skipping history because it doesn't matter how hard I study... I fail... even on the rare open book tests...

Kairi wandered outside with one of her mythology books she recently picked up at the school's library.

"H-Hey there Kairi-chan," I say, as I watch Kaoru kiss her and glance at my feet.
"Aw, May-chan. It's not your fault you were away for a week, blame your dumb manager. It hurts to watch you suffer May. Get over him," Kimi says gently, as she eyes Kaoru angrily.
"No Kimi, it's okay," I mutter, even though I'm clearly not okay.
"May, cheer up. You don't have to waste your time chasing after a guy who's already got a girl,"
"He's the only guy I've ever wanted!" I shout angrily at her, before I turn around and run back to class, as tears begin falling down my cheeks.
Kimi just stands there awkwardly, not sure if she should chase after me or not.
