He shook his head, giving a small smile as an apology, "I'm sorry, I do not...but if they are from the pride, odds are they live at the rock...it's where all the dens are, as well as the water and everything like that..."
He felt bad, bad that he couldn't give a better answer to the cub. It seemed like these names were of his friends, someone he wished to see, "But if I hear or meet them, I'll let them know I ran into you...if you would like..."

Fyja nodded. It was starting to sound like the pride of the Pridelands was rather large. He couldn't expect them all to know each other. "Ah!" He perked up, hearing the lion would give his well-wishes to the cubs should he see them. He seemed like a nice enough fellow.
He also seemed like he would tell the truth. "Can you tell me...about the pride? Living here, it's good?"

Mastema nodded at the quesiton, a soft smile crossing his maw as the cub seemed quite interested in the ideas he was providing.
"Yes, it is so peaceful, and it is like you are living with one huge family...I enjoyed growing up here...so many lions to play with, and places to go..."
He trailed off a little, thinking over the response and remembering his cubhood and all that it consisted of.

It certainly sounded nice. More cubs for his siblings to play with, and people for his parents to talk to. He wondered if anyone would mind their strange accents. Half whispered, half talked in steady monotone. They'd stand out. He was from too isolated a past to understand that with beign different came the risk of being teased, but had he thought of it he would have worried if it was worth it to go to the Pridelands.
Still, he did like the sounds of it, especially if everyone was as nice as the few friens he'd made. He stretched and clambered to his feet, taking his time stretching and flexing his toes.
Eventually he turned to the daydreaming lion and nodded slightly at him. "I should go," he deadpanned. It would get dark soon if he was out much longer and then they would worry for sure. "You won't tell on us? and you'll say hi to my friends if you see them?" He wanted to be sure before dartign back into the long grass and heading home.

Mastema was startled when the soft voice came out again. And so, he turned back to the young cub, and nodded when he realized what the comment was about. It still surprised him that the cub was so responsible for his family, being the child and the one who didn't need to watch out so much.
"I will look them out for you, but you don't need to worry, I only speak with my superior when there is a thread. You seem to be no threat to these lands, my young friend."

Fyja nodded to himself, hearing the words of the lion as he skittered into the brush. He didn't bother to turn back or offer any more by way of thanks. He had to get home now, and that was all that he was thinking about.(Fin.)
