Well, this is a little late, but I love Firefox's tab system, and my mom uses IE, and I use FF, so we both have our own browsers! I also love that you can click using tabs instead of opening new windows!

Sulsia I love Firefox. However, is anyone having stuff not load on Dragcave? My loading has been slow lately on it. I believe that is the fault of the Dragcave server. TJ has ordered a new server for the cave. It should be operational sometime in January. *crosses fingers* The current server is being somewhat overwelmed by the amount of players.

I was skeptical, but I switched to Firefox a year or so ago. I haven't had a virus since. o_o; Also, you can get the snaplinks addon, where you make click a box around a bunch of links and it opens them all for ya. Great for clicking adoptables. 4laugh

Firefox has wo things about it: Obvious dvantages and a legion of fans.
There are only two thngs that I aknowledge in Firefox to be without a doubt, far superior than IE ad it doesn't make sense that IE doesn't follow that same line of thought: 1 - FF is not limited to 2 downloads AND can pause them 2 - FF opens new tabs for all links as a pre-set.
The one reason why I don't use firefox as my main is because it instead of creating a side tab with your favorite links, it leaves them all up there like a toolbar. In a shared computer it means that everybody' stuff will be showing at all times, and even though anyone can see my stuff whenever they want in IE, I got nothing to hide, I don't want to feel they are looking at my stuff whenever they are using a computer, nor do I want to have to share theirs and see it up there. MY space, gettoffa it! I don't want to look at a bunch of links to Futebol Foruns, Sports News and other "boring" suff IMO while I do my usual inernet geek activities. And yes, I know ou an actually hide those stuff and click it like it is done in IE, but my brother would NEVER hide his stuff for his own convinience. It's HIS browser, not mine, anyways, like it probably runs in his mind.
Part from that, I have both browsers, which is 10x greater than any discussion of either sides could ever wish to achieve. Unless someone comes up with a single browser that can log you in into the same site with two different accounts. In fact, I'm controlling Quartafeira11 right at this moment while posting this as Quintafeira12. (I win the internetz, lol!)

Firefox is better for doing almost everything with.
The exception is dragon cave, as I've found out. I have IE on my mum's computer and firefox on my Dads. In my constant refreshing on the abandoned page, I've noticed that the rare egg pictures take longer to load. In IE, this is fine- theres still an active space that can be clicked, regardless of whether the picture has loaded or not.
In Firefox, there is no active place to click until the image has loaded. this means a fraction of a second goes past before you can click it. If you're going for a rare, thats all the time it takes to miss out, unfortunately >_<
I'd say use firefox for everything except egg collecting.

You do know you can turn off images and the eggs will appear as a text link right?

My emachine must really be the odd duck when it comes to browsers... It came with IE on it and has been extremely reliable for me. During the Valentine's drama for grabbing eggs, I switched to Firefox hoping for better chances. Instead what I found was that IE was actually faster loading for me, even after turning the images off on Firefox. (If I can turn images off on IE, I don't know how to do it yet.) I got the white screen more often too although part of that might have been how many ppl were on the site.
Really I think in the end it just comes down to what personal preferance is. If you are more familiar and comfortable with one then the other just won't quite do the trick for you until you get more used to it. I've collected a good share of rares with next to no problems on my IE because I am comfortable with it. I probably could have done just as good with Firefox once I got used to it, if my husband hadn't deleted it because of all the adware/spyware stuff and constant crashes.
Note: I'm not dissing Firefox. I actually really liked how it worked too and was annoyed that my husband deleted it. I suspect the adware/spyware and crashes had as much to do with a virus/trojan called Zlob that was rampaging the system, but try convincing my husband of that. rolleyes
