Hearing the chatter, Sunpaw and Moonpaw stood up and walked over to Petalslash and Wolfkit.
"Hey, there!" Sunpaw greeted, "We are Sunpaw and Moonpaw."
"We're from ThunderClan." Moonpaw added, calmly.
"Is it true that you're really a deputy?" Sunpaw asked Petalslash, excitedly.

Redstar glanced over at his deputy, Petalslash. He grinned, waiting for the Gathering to start. 'I wish this could go a little faster...' he thought, growling between his teeth.

"It is." Petalslash returned. Wildpaw walked up to her and added,
"She's my mentor too."

"I don't have a mentor yet," Wolfkit admitted. "but I'm going to! I'm almost six moons old!"

"That's really cool that you get to come to a gathering so early!" Sunpaw commented, "As for me, they haven't given me a mentor yet. I have a shared training."

Wildpaw rolled his eyes, looking king of smug.

"Well I am the oldest of the kits," Wolfkit explained modestly. "And in exchange for coming to the gathering before I'm an apprentice, I become a warrior a half a moon after my training is complete."

"Lucky," Sunpaw muttered, who was hoping to be deputy of his own clan someday. Moonpaw just nodded, she had already decided to be a medicine cat.

"Have you been to a gathering before, Wildpaw?" Wolfkit asked him curiously.
(Ooc. I've actually been promoted to apprentice now, but I thought it would be kind of wierd to just change names right in the middle of the role play.)
