"For all you know, I could suffer from albinism, how rude of you to call me any sort of monster," she replied with a false tone of insult. But she grinned widely, her fangs showing but hidden behind the veil of her dark umbrella, "But I don't think you should worry about that when you're surrounded by gnomes." She pointed out as she spun around and had the umbrella shielding her back now. While Lycoris dealt with the Animated, she hopped on top of the mushroom she'd first used for cover and sat on top of it crosslegged.

Claire listened to the little attack and managed to hear the cat scamper out of the way. The kid seemed smart, but maybe a bit naive. Or, Claire thought vainly that she was a good liar. She held back a laugh as she listened once more for the sound of the final gnome to be defeated.

((XD If that's the Bandage ring, it's a flying Bandaid. Lol, I'm not kidding, I used it a bunch of times just to check))

"Not bad for your testdrive," Claire mused, twirling the umbrella playfully, "How much do you know about what's been going on? With the Animated, and the rings... even heard of the Null Chamber?" she questioned, wanting a rundown of just how uninformed her acquaintance was. She twisted around to face her so she didn't seem rude to have her back to Lycoris. "Oh my, where are my manners?" she suddenly remembered before she slipped off the mushroom again and held out a hand covered in a black glove, "Claire Bloodworth, at your service."

"Lycoris? Sounds like liquorish!" Claire pointed out with a short-lived giggle, "Ah well. No one knows how these pests known as the Animated came about, nor the rings. But the rings are from G-Corp, I'll assume you'll at least know G-Corp. As for the Null Chamber, I suppose the Barton Guards could show you that one. They're so much better with words," she explained smoothly. "But what of yourself? Do you even have a trusted Clan or a Crew?"

"Yes, trust. You know, as in believing and working with another person. Even better, you'd need a friend. It's certainly hard to survive in the world alone, don't you think, deary?" she asked casually. She ignored the fact that the girl had gone dumbfounded at the mention of the tough little candy strings called liquorish.

"So, you mean you do have people you trust? Fighting these alone is no fun, really," Claire said as she folded up her umbrella and held it beside her rapier, which by now was tucked safely away in a scabbard on her side.

"And why in the world is that?" she asked curiously, "Last I checked, you elves were happy-go-lucky little things, I can't see why that wouldn't trust you back." Even if the girl didn't say, things were still progressing for now. Even if the elf would be too difficult of a meal, she could always come in use in other ways.
