"Yes but how.. " Gyani blinked, but then, Sashta had said it was him, her brother, her very own BROTHER had murdured all these wolves.. Phantom..? No, he culdent! He.. He wuldent! Wuld he?
Without giving chance, the female felt her legs weaken under her, her mind was racing, heart pounding-- Phantom..? He had been acting strange when she found him but.. Was he really like that? Light blue eyes dashed across the scene sashta, Ran, the pawprints, the corpses, and only then did it hit her, it had een him! "Phan.. No.. He.. He culden.. He.. " Gyani stammered, trying to make real sentences but the words wuldent fit in, instead, they just poured out meaninglessly; it was just to much to understand, and even in her own mind Gyani culdent pick out what she meant.
She wanted to run, she wanted to find her brother and demand if it were true, but her legs wuldent work. Oh, who knew it wuld be this way...

"Ran, come here," Sashta demanded, leaving no room for arguement. Ran hesitated, gazing worriedly about at Gyani. When her mother growled she hurried to make up for the few seconds it took her to respond, nearly falling over she stopped so quickly infront of her mother.
Both wolves watched Gyani, the younger much more concerned than the older, though she was the first to speak again. "I'm sorry," the alpha said. Though she didn't sound it, to an extent she was. Not for nearly ripping Phantom's leg off, or revealing the truth about it. For that she would never be sorry. She was sorry, though, that such a wolf was Gyani's family. "I suggest you stay away from him."
Ran, once again, looked over all the dead wolves around them. Over each of them a small, white butterfly fluttered wildly about. "Momma," she said suddenly, nudging the back of her leg. "Gyani not like Phantom, Momma. Ran talked to her, Momma. The butterflies brought Ran to her. Gyani is special."

you stay away from him.
Stay away from him? Gyani was barely ever NEAR him! But like in this state she culd really say anything, but then Ran's words caught her-- what did that mean? Gyani was just an avarege wolf! Right?
Now, nothing in the wolf's life was for sure, herself, her brother, nothing. The only thing that was for sure, was that she wasutterly confused, utterly.

Gyani is special, hm? Sashta pondered. And what made her so special? Furthermore, if she was somehow 'special', how would Ran be the first and only to realize it? The butterfly thing got old fast, something she'd hopefully grow out of with time. "I see."
To Gyani she said, "Well, there's not much else to say, I suppose. You have my deepest sympathies. If your brother harms you, you're welcomed to come find me." Frankly, she was looking for an excuse to maul him again. "Goodbye." She nudged Ran who started forward, mouthing a 'goodbye' to Gyani as well.
Maybe she was special. And, maybe, Ran knew it because she was special too...

All she culd manage was a whispered 'bye' and sat there for long minutes, deep in thought. Special? What was there of 'special' on her? Psh, Ran talk, of course. Ran was nice, but that was so Ran-talk, right? Slow paces started, Gyani wandering away from the moment, the dead wolves and the pawprints, and hopefully, away from her brother.
