But that doesn't make Miles Austin good. That just makes him available for an easy catch, matched up probably against a linebacker. The same is true for Jabar Gaffney of the Patriots.

miles austin is already good, he runs a 4.2 40 yard dash he has had all the phisical talent but in his 3rd year professionally he has finally matured as a player. seriously how many 215 lbs pepole in the world can run a 4.2, not very many. i see him sucssesfully replacing T.O. when he retires.

lol, don't give me that speed stat? A 4.2 for Miles Austin?

...Rookie Chris Johnson of the Titans is currently the "fastest man in the NFL," and he only ran a 4.24 to a 4.3 in the 40 yard dash.

no, currently the fastest man in the NFL is Deangilo Hall with a 4.15 and chris johnson is 20 Lbs lighter than miles austin.

Hall ran a controversial 4.15, and isn't currently faster than Chris Johnson. Also, I think somebody on the Bucs had like a 4.14 (tattooed on his legs too), but he's past his prime.

Anyways, I doubt Austin could run anything less than a 4.4 or 4.5 in the 40.

Nobody improved .2 seconds in a 40. It's almost impossible to improve right out of college, when you are at the best shape of your life. He ran a 4.52 in the combine. Check. Anyways, Chris Johnson ran a 4.2, and it's laughable to say that they have the same speed.
