well pokemon was drawn like a anime show, and i think emo people like anime because the "emo" ppl at my school like it and i like it alot and im ubssessd and i think people just saw that it was anime and awesome they liked it? its just a fad!

Because it's an excuse for people to hold on to there childhood.
I've always liked pokemon so if anyone ever called me emo for liking it I'd get pretty pissed off.
Better question: WHEN THE ******** DID HELLO KITTY BECOME POPULAR?!?!
Man I used to watch the show when I was little.
And now people are all like "OMG Hello Kitty!!!!"
I grew up with it.

JaredWinterfresh17 It's the scene kids man.... Yeah. Scene/emo kids generally don't care what other people think so they voice a lot more. At least that's how it is here. The minority become the majority. They talk about it, people see/hear them talking about it, and therefore it becomes related to it.

its the scene kids.
and i feel proud i've loved pokemon since i was 5 and have ever since.
(i can name just bout everyone cept the diamond pearl ones)
im sucha geek >_<

Okay since when has pokemon turned emo?? That's the thing I would like to know. (Hell that's the thing everybody wants to know.) Pikachu is on everything becuz apparently he's cute.......There's a chat thing that I co on once in a while and I'll see people with usernames like pikachu and pachirisu and stuff like that. Not that I opposed to that its what the people want to call themselves but its kinda getting annoying you know??

Hmm, I've always liked Pokemon. It was my favorite show growing up. As I got older and they got WAY carried away with the show, I still kinda enjoyed the games, and I have a Pikachu doll. I like pokemon....
But it's not "emo".
