Hypno: That is one dream that is kind of out there, I'm not gonna lie, but it is interesting. All sorts of it could symbolize a number of things. Such as the girl leaving when you said told her to stop. It could be that despite how bad you want something not to leave out of your life, it might work out for the better if it/or they did. Think about it, if she had stopped, she likely would've gotten caught too, then there would have been no need to help her in the first place.
The hybrids being happy that you couldn't remember much and seeming sad after you said something about "Natalia" could mean that deep down you know you should forget about something that happened in the past and try to move on, but you just can't. Or that there is something important in your life that you should remember, even though others may not like it much.
well, I'd type more, but I must go for now, sorry sweatdrop

Thanks dude! Actually, my buddy chippbogard did send me a comment about it and she did say similar things. I'm not sure I can agree with the first part of yer comment but I do see the point. Some of my dreams are pretty strange, to be sure. And don't worry about not posting a lot. We can't always post a lot of stuff, can we?
I remembered a dream I had ages ago (I was probably 13 or so), btw. Check this out:
I was walking on a dusty road along with my dog Dixie. As we were walking, I noticed some sort of ravine at the end of the path. As we advanced, I noticed a giant come out from nowhere (or so it seemed) and my dog noticed it too. As soon as we got closer he sort of growled at the giant and started to run in its direction, before I could even stop him. I was afraid to see the outcome but I couldn't turn away, I ran towards the both of them but in my surprise, my dog sort of went pass the giant and ran off towards the ravine; the last thing I saw before waking up was my dog falling off.
I was away from home (at my cousin's house) at the time I had that dream and oddly enough, when I returned I found out that my dog Dixie had to be put to sleep cuz he was too aggressive towards people (he even bit my mom and grandpa). Isn't that strange? I was crushed back then but what can you do, right?

I know this was months ago, but you seem to have really weird dreams. Then again, I can't say much. I hardly ever dream, and when I do, it seems to be, mostly, when I wake up to early and fall back to sleep. When I do dream, it often blends seemlessly in with my thoughts, and I only realise I'm dreaming when I can't control it anymore, or when I can't end it. Like, this one: Quote: I was in the playground at school (I was in my last year at Primary School). It was empty, apart from my class. We all had equipment to make smoke signals, and reflective signals and things like that. Everybody was huddled in little groups, and they were all whispering; like it was something really secret. I walked up to the group with my so-called 'best friend', Chloe, and Rachel, and her best friend, Hannah. I asked them what they were were talking about, and if I could join in, but they acted like I wasn't there. I persisted, trying desperately to make myself heard, but they didn't respond. After a while I was shouting at the top of my voice, but they still ignored me. I walked off, feeling rather sorry for myself at the time, and tried to find a group to join. I ended up going with Lucy and Annie. Lucy was quite a nice girl, but she was bullied (really cruel, because she was actually very nice) because people said that she smelled. She didn't actually, she just lived on benefits, and never wore proper school uniform. Annie joined our class in our last year, and never had many friends. She said she was best friends with Tara, but they were always arguing and actually hated each other. I didn't like Annie very much, she was moody and hard to get along with, but they were the only group who would take me. We continued making these weird signals until midnight, despite the fact it was long past school time. I was doing all the work; Annie was being lazy (as usual, to be honest) and Lucy gave in because she couldn't do it. Our group ended up being behind all the others. Then the other groups left, but we were left doing it. When Chloe, Rachel and Hannah walked past, they laughed loudly, and kicked me in the back accidentally-on-purpose. Lucy and Annie soon cleared off, and I was alone. I worked for what seemed like until morning, because the school bell rang, and the sky was blue again, and I could hear the registers being read out. I got up to go to registration, afraid I would be late, when Mrs. Pawley, a strict teacher who I did not like at all, came out and made me continue working. I ended up slacking, tired, but Mrs. Pawley got out a whip and started whacking me. Then, quite suddenly, it was breaktime, and all the children came out. For some reason, all the children crowded around me and Mrs. Pawley. Mrs. Pawley's whipping became relentless; it never stopped. Then suddenly, my teacher (he's also deputy head), Mr. Fenwick, came out. I liked him, and I felt a flood of relief. But he was holding a gun, and he was about to fire when I woke up I was feeling ignored at the time; Chloe was always going off with Rachel and Hannah, and I was left trailing behind (it repeated itself when I began Secondary). I was miserable at the time. I was also under pressure; we were constantly practicing SATs papers, and I was really nervous. I was also left to do all the work when we worked in groups a lot; I was really stressed. I was reading a book called 'The Demon Headmaster Strikes Back' at the time, and my teacher was Deputy Head, and I'd just got to a part where they were using signals and stuff, so that could have explained part of the dream. And Hypno; that dream about your dog - it was sort of like you were psychic, because then it died. Do you think it's possible that we can predict the future in our dreams? Or, perhaps, have visions? It would be really helpful if we could, even though you saw it in a different way than it actually happened. I'm fascinated... That took me ages to write. I hope this thread is revived after all that. What? That took me half an hour.

My goodness girl! That was a long post. No wonder it took you half an hour to write! Anyway, I don't know what's up with that dream of yers and why your so called best friend would ignore you. I gotta ask, did you dream about a girl who was dead? Cuz you speak of Lucy as if she was... I really don't know what to tell you except that I think I know what you felt when you saw the gun. I had a similar dream that ended after I woke up cuz someone was about to stab me with a knife (I don't wanna say who but relax cuz it wasn't anyone on Gaia).
As for my dream about my old dog, I suppose you could say that it's a possibility of some dreams ending up being psychic dreams or, fortune telling dreams like prophetic for example. That's the only time I've ever had a dream like that and if I've had another one, I can't remember it. Who knows, maybe some people have more of those prophetic dreams than others but like you say, if we could somehow make them happen more often, perhaps our lives could be better. Then again, there are some people who are miserable because they know what is going to happen so, who knows...
Thanks you for attempting to revive this thread. You are awesome!

There are actually ways to remember, as well as direct your dreams. I have a book about them... several actually. The way to control your dreams is called "latent dreaming" or dreaming as though you were really there. In short, you recognize that you are dreaming and make a semi-concious effort to change your part or the parts of the other people in your dreams. It takes a lot of practice and most people wake up soon after latent dreaming until they get the hang of it. An example of latent dreaming is daydreaming, or losing yourself in thought. You control where your mind goes to some extent, but your subconscious provides the fodder your mind uses to imagine your daydreaming images.
There are also meditations to direct your dreams. It's all about linking with your subconscious. If you want to access your creativity in dreams you pass your mind through a meditation just before sleep with images that your mind links to creativity. The most common one is a canvas house being painted exclusively to your discretion.
Also, there is a meditation used to recall dreams. You drink 1/2 a glass of water and tell yourself repeatedly that you will recollect them. In the morning (before ever leaving your room) you drink the other half of water and link your present mind through the night to before you fell asleep, making it easier for your mind to trace your dreams.
If you want any other meditations for dreams, or any other ways to unlock tools when you dream, just let me know and I'll post them. ^_^

It basically links your subconscious with your conscious and allows you to access your subconscious more easily than normal. Meditations basically link coherent thinking with your wandering mind and gives it a direction. It's a tool to link them is all so recollection of dreams, control of dreams, and other use of dreams can be unlocked.

And no, as far as I know, Lucy isn't dead. I was just speaking in the past tense ^-^;; . But, yay, I'm glad this topic has got some more action.
Sega; Maybe it wasn't a dream then? Or maybe that was just how your mind interpreted things. Maybe, I don't know, it was sort of another pyschic dream; your mind might had subconsiously been explaining how the knife got there, or how your hand got cut. I don't know.

You know, I think a way to control dreams (just FYI), is to actually wake up in the dream. I think something like that actually happened to me once cuz I remember to be in control of what happened in the dream but, I can't really remember the dream in question. Weird, huh? Btw Sega, like Vaporeae I do think that wasn't a dream but, what the heck do I know? sweatdrop Hey Vaporeae! It's too bad you don't get to talk to that friend anymore but maybe it's for the best.

Boy, have I also had some weird dreams! Most of the ones that stand out in my mind get written down to be expanded upon (for story purposes) later on, but one I have yet to sort out in my mind is this one. I don't have it anymore, but I used to have it all the time just after I graduated high school. I'm not in the dream; it plays out like a movie might. I may just make it into a short story or something, because it's interesting.Quote: There is an old wood-plank house in the middle of a suburban block. Two people live there; a young, newly married couple. When their front yard becomes flooded, they think it might be a water main breakage or something. It hadn't rained at all recently, so it seems kind of out of place. Then their backyard also floods, and the water refuses to recede. But it seems that it's only their yard; no one else's has done this. The day after the backyard floods a stone appears near the sidewalk in their front yard (think "stepping stone"). Every day for the next week this happens, each stone getting closer to their front door until there are exactly seven stones leading across the yard through the small moat that has formed around the house. And on the seventh day, they die. No gruesome horror scene. No bloody murder. The grim reaper just comes in and peacefully collects their souls.
Some time later, another newly-wedded couple moves into the same house. The same thing happens. When the third couple moves in, however, they are prepared. They know something's up with the house when the yard floods. They look up the previous residents. Then they prepare to flee. But now, wherever they go the yard floods; first the front, then the back, then the stones. They get to the part where they almost figure out how to stop it when I wake up. Creepy enough for ya? Maybe I should write that down; it seems like it would make a good psychological thriller/mystery.

Very creepy indeed... not something I would pick out (too creepy for me ^-^;; ), but it's certainly story material. For someone who prefers spooky stories.
There's loads of stuff you could add to it too. Like... why the reaper's killing all the people. Yeah. If I were you, I'd try developing it a bit more before writing it up smile .
