I feel kind of bad for you guys...We have the coolest director ever.
He does get angry sometimes, but only if we actually did something wrong.
I think we should make clones of him and distribute them to your schools...

Every day, my director threatens to send this one trumpet to the office for not shutting up. The other day he sent him out of the room and had to go talk to him.
Note: My director asks rhetorical questions/statements all the time like "If you don't wanna practice today, then just leave. Pack your stuff, go into a practice room, and study or something. I'd rather have you gone than here at this point."
Usually nobody dares move because it's terrible when he says things like that. So when he physically asks someone to leave, he is MAD. Sucks for the trumpet kid lol.

Our director can be like that only occasionally. Except usually when he deos the whole permission forms story kind of thing, he jokes aound about not paying attention.

yes! i think my band director has something against asians. i mean really though my "sister" raises her hand for a question today and he just ignores her!!! (she sits right in front of him too!). And with me(im half asian[filipino]and half black) he always seems to be annoyed with whatever i have to say!!!
