I like Twilight. New Moon was OKAY. Eclipse and Breaking Dawn were crap.
I'm currently reading Pride and Prejudice, and although the writing style gets me confused, I'm enjoying it nonetheless :3
Silver Kiss was SAD AS HELL AT THE END but was pretty enjoyable.
AND THEN MANGA IS <333333333 I've currently completed around 80 series, and I'm in the process of reading 64 series. AND I NEVER GET THE CHARACTERS CONFUSED BETWEEN SERIES 8D
Other crackz: MARCHING BAND <333, the internets, Scrubs, drawing, mainly anything that makes me happy :3

schizorain I forgot!
I totally heart trashy vampire novels! Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series is like my heroin.
You are now my best friend!!!! I love her books previous to the ardeur more but I love them allll. I got Blood Noir and A Lick of Frost when I went to the library Monday, the Meredith Gentry series is pretty cool too.
@GtHb - I got Wicked for Christmas the one after it came out and I have yet to completely finish the book. It never quite held my attention, but I need to dig it up and finish it.
@Artemis Fowl lovers - I LOVE the first three books but I have yet to read the more recent ones.
@Techno - I really wish we had a like a manga library. Cause I r too broke to but manga constantly, and not all the series I want to read are online.

Ismaru the Windsoul Forgotten Realms. You name it in that series, I've probably read it. Also The Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind, The Eye of the World books (Robert Jordan died a while back sadly...), the Disckworld series, I have A Feast For Crows lined up to be read at some point when I focus, and all the manga I can get my hands on that interest me. The Twilight series angers me, VAMPIRES DON'T WORK THAT WAY! However, it did lead to this gem of a line from my sister while we were arguing, well I was arguing how wrong they were, "FANTASY VAMPIRES DON'T EXIST!" My other addiction is video games. Hand held games more specifically. I really enjoy games such as TWEWY (90 hours and counting on that one), FFTA2 (around 59 hours logged there) and any Castlevenia game. Those are just a few examples of what I play. RPGs FTW! omg i know! He didn't even finish the series! D: I heard that he had it all planned out on notes and in paper and stuff though so all that's left is the fleshing out.. so there's a possibility for an ending biggrin

kk commenting on other's lists
I'VE READ JODY PICOULT
I -think- she's the one I don't like very much. I mean I think she makes absolutely incredible character's and gives them awesome relations and for that I would like to ******** her but her writing style and plots piss me off SO much. So I read her books and enjoy them because I love characters so much and hers really are incredible but I get all pissed at them.
I'm going to read Discworld as soon as I finish HHGG and Watchmen because it's on my Hipple-Told-Me-To-Read-It list.
Ismaru vampires work how you write them to. They aren't actual something you can have facts about. It's like reading Harry Potter and saying "MAGIC DOESNT WORK LIKE THAT"
I don't like twilight but not because of the vampires not being realistic in the factitious sense.

Toastie- There is someone finishing the last book through his notes. He knew he was going to die, and he wanted the series to be completed.
Pixie- I don't mind changes to Vampires here and there, I just really don't like the whole "Vampire falls in love with a human and is all nice and stuff" thing, because vampires do not to that! Vampires are not benevolent, they are blood drinking evil peoples.

But they're not in twilight. Vampires are an idea and one the author can bend at will to make the book something they want it to be. Writing about something that isn't real doesn't really give you any guidlines besides the basics. I mean, if Meyer wants vampires to be nice and caring people (some of them?) then she can. I love the idea of a dirty race having broken out of their mold, because it really really underlines the fact that you can break out of your routines and your lines and boundaries that have been set by your culture and be something better and stronger, and that's what they've done.
I get that they're soulless and so that's kinda dirty and confusing and maybe doesn't make total sense except...the point she's trying to get across is so beautiful that it mostly doesn't hurt the book in the sense that her vampires aren't factual.
I'm not a twilight lover in any sense, but I don't fault characters and ideals for not being written in the best way.
I mean, there are other ways to prove and show and try and explain that you can rise above what you're expected to be, and resist any and the strongest temptation there is, especially in the name of love, but that point is slightly more important to the percieving of the book than not having factual vampires. I mena, I think that's what her rationale is, and it's not a bad one.

^_^;; I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to my fantasy races. I prefer to keep evil things evil and the like. I see where you are coming from, but the benevolent vampire thing just doesn't work. There are a few exceptions, mostly Damphirs (day walkers). I really shouldn't be complaining about the Twilight series, as I haven't read any of the books, I'm just bitching about what I've heard.

I get that. I've read a book on werewolves that TOTALLY changes like everything about werewolves...and I'm a werewolf purist and it's like "..but that isn't a werewolf" so yeah, I get it. And I get bitching about something you've not read, too. Lord knows I attacked Twilight enough before I read it.

I attacked Eragon and Twilight before even reading it too! Whee~!
Wait, is that something to be proud of?
Let me consult my inner conscience.
Inner Conscience: Yeah, I hate those ******** series, too.
My inner conscience tells me it's okay!
Inner Conscience: It's also okay tell everyone in this thread that you hate them!
Wait, what?

The Stranger Catcher In The Rye [Rain, shut up.] Life After God The Alchemist The Great Gatsby Letters To Wendy's Perks Of Being a Wallflower Sloth [By Wendy Wasserstein] I Am Not Myself these days. The Zombie Survival Guide Band Bang SiXXX

Seriously. the only reason I want to read Twilight is because it's based in Washington and we hardly ever have books about our area because it's BORING. So basically since this novel is a national hit and it's about Washington, I have to read it. Of course, I'm number 300 in line for it at the library though
