A laugh came from Vienna's throat, a soft sound that displayed her obvious good mood. Rolling carefully onto her side so that her back was against the beanbag, her eyes drifted from one demon to another, recognizing some, before they rested on Kayin for a moment. For an elder, he was incredibly laid back; that she was thankful for. His dark features were smooth and handsome, and-
She shook her head, slightly startled at her own strain of thoughts. "Well, yeah, then it'd be five elders and a whole lot of food." The thought made her snort softly in amusement, watching the greetings and entrances from the other winiko. Also reaching forward, she carefully snagged a small apple from the pile, pulling it back towards her with a satisfied expression.
--
The young winiko could barely contain herself as she sprung forward from the grass back to the beach, sand flying from her paws as she skid a bit to slow her pace. It had been ages since they had met that night amongst the lurid pallor that was the city. He had been alone and she had been, well... lost.
Her heart skipped a beat as she closed the gap, stepping right up alongside him and offering a gentle nuzzle at his shoulder. She never had been one to contain her feelings, and this moment was no exception. She was filled with a million questions; was he still in the city? How had he been all this while? Did he still care for his bonded, the one that he had said didn't want him any longer? She felt every muscle in her body quivering in anticipation, tail coming around her side to curl about her feet.

Looking up at her, Tanzaku felt his throat constrict. She was older than she was when he met her by the lightshow of the fading city, on that grassy hill where you couldn't see the stars. She must have had a lot of things going on in her life, and yet she still remembered him, still cared...
He blinked as she nuzzled his shoulder, feeling the warmth of her breath on his neck. It sent titillating shivers up his spine and knocked him from his frozen stance into breathy laughter, his eyes twinkling with an exquisite delight. It really was her.
"I thought I'd never see you again..." he grinned, flicking his tail behind him.
For the one person in the whole world that he could honestly talk to, it would be okay to smile.

Taboo snored very loudly from a beanbag chair. He had found it quite comfortable and fallen asleep rather easily. He hadn't woken up for the party or even when all the winis had arrived. Ozzy came into the party with a flapping thing in his mouth. His toy (famaliar) was finally caught, not hurt, and he was happy to celebrate this fact. Of course that wasn't what he was suppossed to be celebrating but he didn't care.

Vienna's good humor and mood were contagious, and Kayin smiled in response to her laughter. Begrudgingly he had to admit he was starting to enjoy this little gathering. It wasn't that he wasn't social. He just didn't care enough to make an effort to do the meet and greet thing usually. Company generally found him - and so far tonight that seemed to be working out in his favor.
"Eh, there can never be too much food." He commented, jabbing a grape with a dark claw and popping it into his mouth. This was an opinion he had long maintained. He had odd scavenger instincts and the abundance around them made him quite content. "Ah well, five elders or fifty, its the company that counts right?" He winked at her before pulling another grape off the bunch.

Doyle's wings fluttered in the seabreeze while his feet sunk comfortably in the sand of the beach. The wini shook his fur with a snerk of distate.
A dark pink wini followed closely behind. The rainbow-colored Doyle had quild named this little one Gordon, and could not find away to get him to stay further behind than even a few strides. "Where are we?" Gorgon's young voice reached the skittle-wini's ears.
Doyle turned and and his eyes sparkled. "We are in a place free from the inferior presence of humans."
Gordon paused in step, "But I like the humans, they give me things."
Doyle laughed, "Ah, but somewhere like here, In Between, you do not have to worry about them, and can do whatever you want." As if to agree with the older demon, they came across the first blanket.
Gordon squealed with boyish delight and ran further closer, only to come charging back to Doyle who was moving forward at a more leisurely pace. "Doyle, Doyle! They have foods and drinks and... cushy rocks!"
Cushy rocks? What was the boy about now? Doyle didn't increase his speed but still continued. At the sight, the older wini sighed with pleasure. It was as Gordon had said, and there were others there to enjoy quality time with.
As Doyle strolled to the blankets, he scanned the others with a bright eye. This could prove to be quite interesting.
Gordon came back, not just with a piece of food in his mouth... no.... he had snatched a blanket, and piled much food in it. Then, he had pulled it all back towards Doyle happily. "Mhrf mumghf."
Doyle blinked, but a smile broke out at the younger one's antics. "Did you ask for that, Gordon? This isn't the human's house where you can take all you want. There are other wini's about, you know."
But Gordon knew that look, and that he had actually made Doyle proud and not distressed. Letting go of the blanket corner, he smiled impishly but offered no affirmation or denial.
The rainbow wini knew he would not get an answer, so snagged the blanket around his ankle and pulled it towards the others. It was obviously less effort for him than it had previously been for the smaller Gordon. "Let's go sit on your 'cushy rocks' and see what spoils you have brought us!"
With a twitch of his tail, Gordon nodded and followed with a spring in his step. "Okay!"

Gwen was meandering about, noting the various demons arriving. A few she had met before, and most she ignored. Stitches and his crew were here, she saw. That brought back memories of the last encounter. The rambunctious arrival of a small pink wini and an extravagantly colorful one did not go unnoticed. Watching the little one drag about the blankets, trailing all manner of things around the field, she gave an ill tempered hrmph. Apparently adults only had not been mentioned! She rolled her eyes and wandered away to see if she could find a classier lot to socialize with. Among the clutter of foods and treats and fun things, ELF's winis will find a special gift bag. It is stuffed with tissue but can't seem to be opened. Must have some strong voodoo cast on it razz The contents will be revealed at a later date!

Doyle nosed around, sorting the foods between good and better. Gordon stuck his own nose in and snatched a nice sweet fruit. The small pink wini took it triumphantly and jumped onto a 'cushy rock'. "Mine!"
It was the rainbow-colored Doyle that nudged the strange paper-like bag. With a sight of curiousity, he smirked. "One of these things is not like the other..." he sang, and pulled out on a strap. "Gordon, what is this?"
He tried to open it, with no luck. Doyle sneezed with confusion. How strange.
Gordon looked up with a smile, "I don't know, I just grabbed and pulled.... like you taught! Take and ask questions later!"
Doyle couldn't help but laugh. "You learn well, Little Grasshopper."
Gordon rolled his eyes, "Am not!"
The rainbow wini set the bag aside, but curled a protective tail around it as it was in its own 'pile'.

Cornelius finding that Ilinea seemed a bit distracted at the moment pawed at her slightly, before running back off down to the shore tail wagging. He wanted to play in the waves again finding this was a fun and interesting pastime.

Taboo snored louder and then his eyes opened. "Wha.." He said in mid yawn as he saw more and more winis than when he went to sleep. "What's going on?" He asked to no one in particular.
"murrmur." Was all Ozzy could say until he spit out his toy, how flew away as fast as possible. "I lost my toy." Ozzy said to Dinah and then smiled at the food, "Food!" Ozzy bounded over the the food to see what was available.

Stitiches waved to Gwen when he saw her. The elder then looked around the crowd again looking for his love. Harley looked around. There were many already talking to others, two fighting over a bag, two kitties getting food. "Hummm..." Sarabi noticed the others as well. She took a piece of food and ate it. Then the female laid down. "Oh, yeah, I guess we don't have to beg for it." The kitty girl giggled and she began to dig into the food.

"Remind me why we're here again?""Because thou art a lovely young lady, but thou needst more friends.""And you're mean. You know that?"Two female Winis entered the party side by side...with the adult stepping double time to keep up with the elder. Dyani sighed, realizing that no matter how much she argued, she'd never win against the elder. Nice as she was, Aponi could be stubborn as a mule when she set her mind to something. And the most annoying part? She was usually right too.Aponi chuckled softly, gently nudging Dyani forward. The dear wasn't anti-social...just shy, and the elder figured all she needed was a little push to spend time with others before she'd open up just like she was at home.

((Interactions with Cornelius and Taboo xD ))
Cali's smile faltered, but only for a split second. "Hey! Wait!" She called after the elder, but she was far too fast for Cali to keep up. She pouted for about half a minute and then took off in the opposite direction to track down someone who would talk to her.
She made her way over to the shore and saw a younger black Wini running around in the water. Water!! She loved water!! "HEY!!" She called out and bounded up to him, tossing her long green hair around wildly. She bumped into him and giggled. "Hi!! You're kind of small. Do you like water? I love water!"
Hjarn continued to watch from the shadows, planning an extravagant sabotage mission. Though, that would be a lot of work... maybe just starting a fight would be better. She grinned and got slowly to her paws and padded towards the first unsuspecting fool she saw.
A male elder she believed, very bright and very sleepy. Well, an elder was a little ambitious... but she could take on anyone and anything. She picked a rock up between her toes and flung it at his open mouth as he yawned.

Wallace strutted into the party, fully aware that he was obviously the sexiest Winiko of the bunch. These other jokers had nothing on him.Mo walked softly behind Wallace and smiled at his young friends antics. There were so many other Wini here it was hard for Ecchymosis to take them all in, but he was trying to get a good view of everyone. He noticed Hjarn, getting herself into trouble of course. As well as Cali down by the waves, playing in the water as usual. He chuckled and sat down beside a colorful bean bag and took a deep breath of the ocean air. It was very beautiful here.
