"No fair!" she said laughing as she was being tickled, trying to swim away. She spun aroun and wrapped her arms around his neck as well, spinning them around in the water.

He smiles then shivers. "It's getting rather late..." He looks up at the sky seeing the sun setting on the horizen. "I guess I should head home...but a miles walk...all well..." He swims to the edge and gets out, shaking himself dry. "It's been nice to play around with you today Rose. I hope we can meet again."

She looked at him, still floating in the water "Ah, really?" she swam over to the side and climbed out next to him "It was nice to meet you too." she looked down, putting her ears back.

He frowns for a moment looking up at the sky, ears twitching as his fur bristles. "A storm is fast approuching." He watches the dark clouds fill the sky. "I cannot make it home before it hits...i can try. Ok, i'll see you soon Rose." With that he darts off, rain starting to fall.

"Alright... see you soon." she said more to herself then shouting. She looked up at the sky, rain beating the side of her face "Better find someplace to get out of this rain." she looked aound "No sign of a cave." she thought "Guess that'll have to do." she said, walking over to a tree and curled up under the branches. Drops of rain still making their way through to her face.

He frowns looking around seeing the storm forming too quickly. He realises he won't get back to the den without being soaked to the bone, so he turns around looking for the lioness he had played with. "Rose! Where are you?" His paws barely hit the ground as he sprints, finally spotting her. He stops nearby and looks over at her, his mane already rather wet. "Rose? Where is a cave?"

She looked up "You're back? I thought you went home?" she stood up, shivering "I couldn't find one. Not in this rain." she looked around "Where are you?" she asked, her left side facing him so she couldn't see where he was.

He walks around until he is able to see her eyes, then sits down shivering as well. "I wouldn't be able to get home without becoming ill. The storm is forming too quickly. Follow me, we'll find a cave or something..." He offers his paw to Rose, worried about the lioness in front of him. "We'd better hurry."

"Alright." she said and took his paw when she was able to see it. She felt helpless, barely able to see anything infront of her out in the rain.

He holds onto Rose's paw, running for any place to hide. Rain irritates his eyes making his vision a little blurry as he dashes. "There's a hold leading under a big tree! I don't think it's occupied...let's go Rose!" He runs for it, tripping over a root and sliding down into the hole on his back with a thud. He rolls once he reaches the floor hitting his head. "Ouch...the roof is low...be careful Rose."

"Ok." she shouted over the rain and went to step down, sliding where he did "Woah!" she ducked down, the roof grazing the tip of her ear. She ran into him at the bottom, knocking him back and ending up partially under him "Oww..."

He grunts hitting his back against the wall when she knocks into him, nearly causing him to fall over. When she slides under him he slips getting a face full of dirt." Ow..." He rolls to his side grunting. "You ok Rose? All in one piece?"

Rose sat up, shaking her head "I'm fine.... let's not do that again..." she said and flopped over on her side again, absolutely covered in mud.

"Agreed..." He looks over at her frowning softly, covered in mud as well, his mane slicked back to his body in a few places. Moving over to her he starts to wipe the mud off of her gently. "I hope you didn't get hurt Rose...I don't want..Mmm..." Just continues cleaning her fur gently.

She looked at him and smiled, licking the side of his face "You're muddy too." she said giggling and licked his cheek again.
