"I was hoping that you and I would be able to speak privately, your overlordliness," she glanced at Regan and continued walking, "are we headed back to the castle to have a meeting? Or should I just tell you now?"
Aria did not want to have that Azura girl come back and haunt her, nor did she want anything worse to happen. She only hoped that the Overlord would take her seriously. After all, it was only a hunch; a feeling she got when she looked out her window on the last stormy night they had in Risen.

Fenrisulfr stops and sighs. "Regan...continue on to my quarters, and I'll meet you there. Azura is dismissed as well. No questions. Aria..." she holds out her hand. "Come on. This is obviously extremely important to you. Let's be expedient."

Aria takes the Overlord's hand, unsure of where they are headed. "Thank you, Overlord." She debated striking up conversation as they walked, but decided not to say anything until they were at their destination. While walking, Aria couldn't help but notice the skies were getting darker on the horizon. Was it a sign of something to come, or was Aria simply losing her mind?

Regan nods her head and affords the Overlord a kiss on the cheek. "As you wish, Overlord." She detaches and bows before turning and walking off toward Fenny's private quarters, her tail flicking gently behind her, her wings fluttering.

"Mmn, smell that coming storm? I love that smell. The ocean spray of this fabulous sprawling island, and the rain about wash the filth of this sinful city clean...then we can make more! <3"
As they reach the castle spire's drawbridge, Bob and Vorpal step aside, nodding to the Overlord silently and giving her guest watchful eyes all the way into the structure. Inside, the atmosphere is decidedly warm. Obsidian walls that seem to go on for miles within, and a warm red glow seemingly miles into the core of the castle.

"Wow..." Aria gasped as she stepped into the castle. "This is amazing!" she thought to herself as she followed Fenny.
"Where should we go to talk? Now that we're inside, I can tell you what I need to tell you and then I can get on my way." Aria was looking forward to getting back to her abode on the edge of town. She kept it dark most of the time so as not to attract attention to herself. "Shall we get down to business?"

She leads the girl up to her casting circle at the top of the tallest craggy spire. There's nothing but open air up here, the spire cut featurelessly at the top for a completely flat mirrorlike surface, but for the hook-shaped claw at the far end that houses the door. One can see on for thousands of miles here, and the wind remarkably doesn't whip up as one would expect it to at this altitude. Fenrisulfr nods, "Yes...lets." Dark red runic shapes encircle them upon the floor, etching quickly. Nothing spoken here will leave the circle.

"Okay, down to business. A few nights ago, I started getting this odd sensation that something bad was brewing on the other side of the mountains. At first, I thought it was just a storm passing through, but the next night, after the storm had cleared, the same feeling came back. I looked across the sky and saw a faint green glow over the horizon. I think someone may be planning to attack Risen."
Aria leaned back, watching the horizon, as she waited for a response.

"A...green glow?" She stares out across the ocean. "But judging by the allegations of a fancy lightshow, the attack must be arcane in nature. I may have to brew up something special...which direction did you see this glow?"

"It came from the South," Aria pointed, "I saw it from my home, in the darkness of the night. I would have waited to see if it happened again, but it looked suspicious to me so I figured I should alert you right away." Aria looked around, especially toward the south, hoping the green lights would show up in the night sky again so that Fenny could see them too.

"South?" She grumbles, "Goodness, are we being attacked by the Brazilians? Africa?" She peers out into the distance, putting a monocle over one eye that allows her to see for many more miles. What on Earth is out there?

Aria looks around and sees the green haze on the horizon again. "I can't tell exactly where it is coming from, Fen. Would it be good to send a scout to see what all the commotion is about? Maybe those guards at the door could go for you." Aria watched the green haze as she spoke; it had begun rising and twirling into the sky.

"Haha, no, those guys wouldn't know a good eye if it bored into their heads. I got people though. Anyway, it's probably nothing to worry about, Aria." The Overlord turns and tousles the bird-girl's hair. "Your feathers are pretty in this light, by the way."

Aria blushes slightly at the sudden attention. "Thank you Fen. I don't usually notice since I don't use mirrors too often." She moved to sit on a perch at the edge of the terrace they were on, still keeping an eye on the horizon. "Is there anything I can do to help you, Fenny?" Aria blushed again, not knowing exactly how to address the Overlord.

Regan wanders the halls of the castle, despite being told to wait in her chambers. That's just too boring. She'd rather seduce someone while she waits... ah, there's a hapless young woman right now, looking lost. Must be new. <3
